Hey, everyone. Hello, Hello. Hello. Welcome to the Start Strong challenge, day three. How are you all doing? I'm already seeing some comments of all of you who have joined a minute or two earlier. So hello, Christina from Spain and Poliana and Rocio. Hello, Lucia from the US And Guga from Brazil. Anna. So good to see you all. Welcome to day three. You did it. You are going strong. If you did it, if. If you will continue until the end of this challenge, I guarantee that we can make it happen in 2024. All right? So this challenge, as you all know, or maybe if you joined us today, is all about helping you gain momentum, set clarity and focus for 2024 so you can achieve your goals. We have set goals. We have talked about our successes. We reminded ourselves why it's possible for us to do this. We reminded ourselves that we're capable of doing hard things, of overcoming challenges. And what we're going to talk about today is the mindset that we need to step into to be able to achieve our goals in 2024 and also build our confidence in. In English. So my setup is a little different. If there's a little bit of background noise, please accept my apology, but I gotta be flexible. Some changes happened, and they're building some things in my home. So let me know if you have any trouble hearing me, but I think it should be fine. Hello, Alexander from Ukraine. Hello. Jasmine is here. Elena is here. Welcome, everyone. Let's talk about mindset. And for that I would like to just keep talk about the definition. If this is. If you're new to this, then and you're like, what is mindset? I want to give you the definition. Mindset is the collection of attitudes, beliefs, and perspectives that shape how we perceive and approach various aspects of life. Mindset influences how we think, respond to challenges, and view the world around us. Okay, so it's the attitude we have towards things, the beliefs we have about what's good, what's bad, what's possible, what's impossible, the perspective we have, the way we look at things, the way we approach failure, the way we approach success, the way we approach our ability to learn things, the way we approach our adaptability and flexibility. So all of that is our mindset. Everything that is happening inside our brain and the thing. The way we think about things and the way we approach things and the beliefs that we have absolutely influences everything in our lives. Ultimately, it influences the results that you see. The life that you live, the relationships that you have, what you have accomplished, what you haven't accomplished. The challenges that you face, especially if. If it's about you adapting to them or. Or being able to overcome them. So there are some. Some things that are out of our control, right? The circumstances in life where you live, even though you. You ultimately, that where you were born, what family you were born into, and. And how people behave around you, you cannot control it. But what you can control is how you respond to it, how you feel about it. Because ultimately, and this is where it gets interesting, ultimately there are things around us and there is how we think about those things, and how we think about those things obviously affects everything in life, because it affects how we feel about them. Do we feel like a victim? Do we feel inferior? Do we feel frustrated? Do we feel joyful, happy, excited, motivated? Right. The feeling then affects the action that you take. If you're going to do something or not, if you're going to speak or not, if you're going to pursue your goal or say to yourself, what's the point? And not take action, because there is a thought there that says you're never going to succeed. And that makes you feel miserable and sad and demotivated. And then you're less likely to take action. And then if you take action or if you don't take action, that would ultimately lead to the results that you see in your life and whether you accomplish things or not. So we need to reverse engineer the way we think based on what we want to achieve. So give me an example of a goal that you have. Okay, so if anyone here wants to share one of their goals for 2024, please do. That was your task for day one, so I can show you how to do that. Okay, so you want to reverse engineer it. You want to understand the goal, and then you have to say to yourself, if I want to achieve this, who do I need to be? What? Who will I be? How will I feel? Right. What will I think once this is possible for me? And then when you visualize that, when that is clear to you, then you need to start planning on how you're shifting and changing into being that person, into having those thoughts already. All right? You can't achieve things if you don't have the right mindset or you're not in your head. It's not even possible for you to achieve it. Great. Luz. Hi, Luz. So good to see you. Publish my book. Okay, so Luz is going to publish her book by 2024. Super excited about this for you. Okay, so for example, how will I feel accomplished? What do I need to do to Be able to do it. I need to show up every day and to write what. How will I feel? Accomplished, proud, satisfied, content. Right. Like, all those feelings, who is the person that I'm going to be? I'm going to be a published author. So you want to already step into that identity and you already want to start taking action. The action that is needed for this to happen now specifically, lose. I know you. I know you've been working on this, but still, like, if this is the goal, then consistent daily action is needed. We need to plan it. We need to make sure that we stick to deadlines so that you actually get to do it by the end of 2024. So, so. And then also to. To kind of like reprogram your brain into understanding what is holding you back, right? What beliefs are holding you back? What negative beliefs are holding you back and how you can change them so that you don't have, like. So they don't limit you from actually doing it. So if there is a thought there that says, I'm too busy, I don't have time to write the book, then, you know, how about, okay, so I'm going to wake up half an hour early and then Write it for 30 minutes every single day. Or if you have a thought that no one's going to want to publish it, or if you have a thought that it's not going to like, I feel like an imposter. And then how you can change that. This book can change people's lives. You change the perspective ahead of time. You try to detect the thoughts that get in the way consistently from you achieving your goal, and you want to change them ahead of time. They don't change once you accomplish it. You have to change the limiting thoughts, then what you want is possible. A lot of times we wait for these negative thoughts to change when the things that we want happen. It doesn't work this way. You got to change first. Make it possible in your brain. Believe it as possible. Okay? And then things happen. It's not the other way around. So today I want you to ask the following questions. Who do you want to be by the end of 2024? Right. Think about your goals. Who do you want to be? Who is that person that has achieved those goals? How do you want to feel? Describe it, journal about it. Take five minutes and just write everything that comes to mind. When you think about yourself having those things that you have set for yourself, what would you like to do? Right? Or what would you do once you have those? Once you have accomplished those Goals. So lose for you. You would probably already plan how you would publish it, maybe market the book, talk about it, interview about it. If your goal is to. To get a job, an international job in English, right? Like, what do you need to do daily to get there? Be clear about all those things. And then I want you to really list all the negative thoughts that come to mind, all the things that might block you from actually achieving it, and write them down, okay? Write them down and then be your own lawyer and start arguing against them, okay? I don't have enough experience working in English, so this is why I can't get a job in English just yet, right? If this is a thought that you discovered that you recognized, how would you argue against it? If you were your best friend, what would you tell yourself? If you know, had you heard it, what would you say to show a different perspective, to show growth, mindset and say, this is, you know, this is another way to look at the same thing. If you look at the number six, right? If you have the number six written on the ground and you looked at it from one angle, it would look like a six. And then if you turn to the other side and you look at it from the other side, it would look like a nine, right? A lot of times it's just a matter of perspective, how you decide to approach things. And we are deciding that in 2024, your approach is going to be one that benefits you, that is in your favor, that is good for you, that is not negative, that is not self deprecating, that is not diminishing you, that is not, you know, allowing you to undervalue yourself or diminish yourself. Okay? You need to be your best cheerleader. You need to advocate for yourself. You need to fight for you to get and do what you want. Because no one else is going to do that. You have people and friends around you. Yes, but no one else is going to do that but you. Okay? Now I want to talk about one more thing before we wrap up for today. And I sent you to do your homework. This is a task that I want you to journal about. I want you to start. It is now December 31, 2024. And. And you write exactly what is happening in your life, how you feel, what you do daily, what your daily routine looks like, who your friends are, what, what are the kind of people you attract, what is the job that you work at, where you work, where you live, what does your home look like? Go Very, very, very, very specific. Just take like 10 minutes and journal away okay. It is now December 31, 2024. And. And you write it in the present tense so you gain clarity. And of course, you want to incorporate those goals. But it's not just about the goals. It's about how you feel, what you do daily, the person you are. Okay? And the last thing I want to talk about is values. Hold on. Sorry. Because I have people helping me here. That was unplanned, but it is what it is. So, values. I want you to choose three values that you are going to carry with you in 2024. Okay? Three core values. Now, what are values? Values are princip. This is a dictionary definition, principles or standards of behavior. One's judgment of what's important in life. What is important for you. Now, we have created a list of values for you, but there are plenty more. You can just Google value list and look at all the different values that you can find online and think about the three core values that you believe in. Is it integrity? Is it family? Is it determination? Is it perseverance? Is that joy? Is that creativity? Freedom, Grit? Right? I want you to think of three and write them down. So along with those. With those goals that you have and those successes that you've collected, proving to yourself that you can achieve hard things, you need to have those values that will carry you, you will carry with you and remind you of what's important and how you need to feel, feel, think, and believe in. Right? And on top of that, have clarity around the person you want to be. It's like, really about rewiring your identity. Rewiring how you think, not your identity in the sense of who you are and your authenticity. It really is about how you think, because you already want to step into the person that you want to become. Okay? Think about the. The person who has achieved all those goals, who does the things that you want to do. That person is you. And how would you like. And once you step into that identity, I want you to be clear about what goes on through that, through your head, right? And start having those thoughts, start having those feelings, and believe that it's possible. Okay? Family respectful. Empathic. Good health. Positive thinking. Love. Transparency. Ooh, beautiful. Get better Fluency. Success. Result Driven mindset. Good. I want to be a better dad. I feel like more patience. Patience is such a beautiful value to have. And then when things get really, really hectic around you, remember those three core values and act upon them, Right? And be like, this is who I am. Beautiful. Trust, freedom and love. Confidence. And when you have questions about what you need to do right and. And how you are supposed to respond in tricky situations. Sometimes we have these situations. Then, you know, like when that happens to me, I focus on two things. One, what are my goals? And then I go back to my. We call them rocks in our company. What are my rocks? For you, it's goals, right? What are my goals? So am I. Is this helping me get to my goals? Yes or no? And if I don't need to change my goals, then it's easy to know what to say no to. And then also, is it aligned with my values? Yes or no? If it's not aligned with our values, with your values, then it's an easy no. Okay. If someone requests you to do something that compromises your patience consistently and your value is patience, then, you know, maybe you shouldn't. You shouldn't be around that person. If. If your job requires you to work until 10pm every day and your value is freedom, you. Maybe you need to change your job. Okay? When you understand your values, it makes hard decisions really easy. Your goals, your vision as to who you want to be and how you want to feel, and your values. What's really important for you. And I want you to sit with it today and I want you to think about it so that everything makes sense and that every. Every decision is easy. You. Not all decisions are easy. Some decisions are really, really hard still, even when you have gold and values. But it's easier. Okay. All right. So go download the checklist. Do the daily Sprint. If you haven't yet answer those questions, share them in the group. My friends, thank you so much. You guys are amazing. That's it for today, and I will see you tomorrow for day four. Bye. My friends.
