This is how English REALLY sounds

Hadar Shemesh explains fusion, where adjacent sounds merge in spoken English. When a word ending in t, d, s, or z meets a word starting with y, they blend: "can't you" becomes "can chew," "did you" becomes "didja," "miss you" becomes "mish you." These are natural pronunciations, not slang.
