We often talk about trends, and I think there's this like negative connotation to trends where people are like, oh, I don't want to follow trends, I don't want to chase trends. I never want you to follow or chase trends. What I want you to do is be trend-informed so you can choose which trends may or may not work for you. The reason trends are important is because those are the little elements that keep things looking modern and don't have you stuck in a different decade. I'm going to talk about this. This happens to have a few different trends intersecting, and you don't have to wear them all at once. You don't have to wear any of them, but I want to make sure you know about them so if you want to incorporate them into your outfits, you can. First, brown. Brown has been there. It's been the last few years. I would say it is like hitting the top of the peak. Doesn't mean you have to stop with it. It means that like you're going to see it in a lot of places. It's easy to get. High price point, low price point, brown is everywhere. Asymmetric— that is a newer one. It's been around, but the whole idea of having something that has asymmetry is very, very at the beginning of the trend cycle. The lace combined with the camisole also— so now we have like sort of 2 trends in one top. The lariat longer necklaces— that again you've seen, but we're seeing more and more of it. Purple, another color, or that whole easy pant idea. And then combining it with an animal print purse and a more classic pump helps ground the entire thing. And then you can throw a wrap over this, you can throw a denim jacket over it, you can throw a leather jacket over it— even better if it's a brown leather jacket.
