Hi. Thank you for having me.
I'm excited to have you. So I feel like everybody on my social media has been asking me about Nate and AET because they see that Lily and I have been coming to see you. And this all started when Lily got diagnosed at the beginning of the summer with a milk protein allergy and an allergy to dog dander. And we have a dog and she was actually going to a kosher camp for the summer. So that was really tricky because she couldn't eat a lot of the dairy stuff and didn't like alternatives. So anyways, when she came back we, we started seeing you and I feel like she moved very quickly through the Nate treatment program and we started seeing, you know, she wasn't getting hives up her body all the time when she, you know, we started to reintroduce dairy and, and so on and so forth. But I know that there's a very methodical way of treating this and So I would love for you to explain to our listeners what Nate is. Because I think the Nate method it was. It's new. Was new to me. But it's. I definitely don't do it justice when I try to explain to everybody. Like I'm like we go and. And there's muscle testing and there is, you know, presence of the allergen in a vial. And if we react then we treat it. If we don't react then we don't treat it. But anyways, so yeah, I would love for. To start with just telling you know, everyone like what is Nate?
So you're right. The. The Nate treatment method it's totally different than any other treatment. Since it's not invasive, we don't use. It's drug free, it's not invasive. We are basically just trying to find out through simple muscle testings which called also kinesiology how to see if there is any kind of reaction between you and this substance. We have tons of substance. But what we started with NAT. It's like we are trying to find out the NAT it's after Dr. Nabulipad allergy elimination. And she was invented. Invented that back then in 1983. She herself was allergic to everything. In spite. In spite of her being. You know, her dad was herbalist. She had everything organic. But that's not. She was allergic to anything. And the only stuff that she could have was rice, broccoli, later on aspirin when she needed.
Wow.
So this is how she came up with this method. It's beautiful method. So this method is looking to treat people by finding the under cause for you to develop for the various. So either if we have something on our skin or if it's something that digestive. Some things that I had within food or drinking or something that I put on myself. So it could be anything. And we exposed to so many things that Nate. It's a. A way that very friendly way just to check, you know, to see how what is this energy had to do with mine. If that's okay or not. And then bring up everything and make that peace in between my organs, my cells, whatever it is. And the beauty with NAT that we are treating and there is few levels. There is the physical physiology and emotional. And when we are treating that it's like we are pressing the delete button. And every time we remove another layers. And my body is very happy because it's looking to get free of that stagnation. Because I don't even like to call that allergy. The there is Some kind of, you know, stagnation within. Within me that it could be emotional or physical, but I will react in a physical symptoms. And then that's what we are. The NAT is combination of the western and the eastern medicine.
And.
Yes. So it's a very. It's again, it's not invasive. As you've seen. If I need to treat a baby or a small child, then I can use always the mom or the dad as a surrogate. But yes.
So yeah, it's been. I mean, it's been great because Lily, when she hears like allergy, she. I think her brain, even as a child, she's never had any allergy shots. But her mind all the. All of a sudden went to like, I don't want to get shots. And I was like, who said anything about shots? There's no shots involved in this. And so I do love that it's like non invasive. And you mentioned it's a mix between eastern and western medicine. But it feels for me it feels because I know it's based on like we've talked about three things. So it's based on kinesiology, chiropractic and what's the third one?
So kinesiology, the acupressure and. Oh, yes, yes. Three things. That's the combination of all. When treating with the kinesiology, it's pretty much simple. You know, the, the kinesiology, it's a method that. Based on the. The theory of movement of the human body. So every time when I test something, if I see the strongest or weakness, when we hold the vials and I need to show you just for.
Yeah.
To understand what is the vial. It's simple, it's small, and it could be, you know, like any, any. Let's say that it's like Clorox or calcium. You know, this is how it's look like we hold that and I'll explain more. But this is very simple. And, and yes, and. And the way that we wanted to check with this energy is to see a few things. You know, it could be intolerance sensitivity or even worse, you know, more severe reaction. But yes, that's.
Yeah, we. I feel like now, you know, some kids play like school or house. Lily now plays like Nate. Like she will like you know, come over here and she'll muscle test or she'll show her sister how to like test using fingers and see if she's react. She's like, here, hold a banana. See if you react to it. It's very cute. And then I know when we've been in your office. Like, sometimes she'll kind of, like, sit there and put her arm out and, like, push it down and, you know, do the muscle testing on herself to see. See what happens. So. But it's great because, like, she has a cold right now. And, you know, I know you made us a saliva, at least saliva, like, vial. And so she was holding that yesterday, and I did her back and everything and did the treatment, and she. But she knows all the points. So then she was able to do all the points on herself. And I was just watching her, and I was like, this is so amazing to see her, you know, you don't know.
Yes. Yeah, exactly. That's beautiful because they're taking also responsibility during the treatment. And that's the beauty, because they want to know more, and they. They're asking, you know, what's. How do I need to do? Like, they're a corporate. And that's wonderful. And that's the beauty also with Nate, because I want. I don't want to see people forever, and they don't want to see me forever. So we wanted to learn how to treat ourselves. Whether, you know, wherever we are, there is a way that we can treat ourselves and not getting, you know, too much stress from.
Yeah, yeah. So we've kind of talked a little bit about, like, what the treatment looks like, but is there anything else that you would add? Because I feel like I kind of talked about it a little.
So. Yeah, so we were talking about the way that we are doing the treatment by the kinesiology, which is a muscle test, and then tapping on the back. It's the second part where we are trying to give, like, a message. So when we are trading with Nat, it's trying to give a message back to my body to understand that it's not an enemy, but a friend. So this is the huge difference between any other thing. We just trying to build up something and get that faith and trust for my body that it's okay. And then we start to see, you know, what is it that we need to eliminate. Usually when we do in the treatment, of course, the first part, it's, you know, to do the. The muscle test. And then we figure it out what is the allergy, the allergen. And then the person holding the vial, and he needs to hold that for the next 20 minutes after doing the treatment. Yes. And then after that, we just assess. We see how. How strong or weak, if needed, more treatment. And this way we proceed with any other substance later on. But, yeah, it's It's. It's simple. Not again. It's a. The way that you usually. When I look at that treatment, what. I like it so much about this that it's a. It's all in my environment, and I can come up with all kind of things that I can. You know, being aware to what I'm eating and drinking and being exposed to so many things and knowing that everything have his own energy, which not always can be okay for us. And yeah, we just need to being aware of that. That's another thing that I think important for me when I see my patient to explain way, way beyond what we're doing in the naive. Yes, this is the bottom line, what we're doing. But, you know, we can avoid so many things by just walking in a. In a clear and clean path.
Yes. Yeah. Well. And you. You talk a lot about the, like, stagnation, right. Things almost kind of getting stuck and then our body not responding well to. To whatever that. That, you know, is. And then it presenting as an allergen, I guess, if that's what you want to call it. But I. I always think of. Whenever you say that, I just think of stuck energy. Like some energy is stuck somewhere in the body. And like, we need to tell our body. This is like, what if I was telling my dad last night about it? Because he was. He was like, what. What is it you're doing? And I was like, it's like, you know, it's not necessarily that it's an actual allergy. It's just that our immune system thinks that this isn't safe. So it's kind of like when it presents, your body's just like, nope, like, back off, or it shows some sort of, you know, series of symptoms to basically say, I can't process this, or the immune system can't handle this, you know, and so it becomes more of an outward, you know, type of symptom presentation. And. And so, yeah, it's. I just, you know, in my brain, I'm like, it just feels like stuck energy. And it's almost like we have to teach the body, right, that this is safe, this is not going to harm you, and kind of open up the channels and kind of let energy continue to flow through our systems again and let everything kind of work in harmony. So I don't know if that was a good explanation or not, but I. I tried an explanation.
And I tell you, it's like going back and try to remind the body how to react because our soldiers knows how to act and what to do. But from. You know, we. From some reason we are neglected that and we exposed to ourselves to so many things. Whether we were aware to that or not. If it's vaccine, if it's giving all kind of things, food, processed food, you know, we are. There is tons of things around us and every day more and more in our job is really to be responsible whatever it is that we are eating and drinking. It's very simple. The story is very simple. But we need to understand. You know, when I take my personal story with my son. When I started all the Nat then. Then I was already naturopath and everything was. But again when my son got the. The autoimmune disorder, the T1D, the type 1 diabetes, then he was 15 months old and the. I was breastfeeding him and everything, but he was getting the vaccine and right after we had all this incident happening. So what's happening with the autoimmune disorder is where the pancreas falls to create insulins. Right. Because the. The immune systems attack the beta cells which they are the one to cause the insulin to exist. Right. So in that case, in his case, well, the pancreas was having stagnation for some reason he was in trauma. Whatever was getting him to be in that trauma is emotion could be a. The trauma of the. The. I don't know. But I'm just saying that at the same time it was vaccine and vaccine could be very, very. You know, there are. Contains so much in the vaccine simple one that we are getting into. You know, it's.
Yeah. Well, and, and I know like for me, I got that mcas, the mast cell activation syndrome diagnosis this summer from a functional medicine doctor who basically told me I was going to have it for life. And I was like, I don't believe that like every. You can heal anything in the body. Like. And that's. You know, I'm so glad I found you. But I also remember just speaking to insulin resistance that, that MCAS can impact your. Your insulin. And I know that histamine levels play a big role in that and the mast cells because they're inflammatory cells and there's just all this stuff I remember like reading about when I was doing a deep dive into trying to understand what this meant. And so it's. It's interesting. There's some similarities here. And I feel like I was a kid, like when I was a kid I had all my vaccines at the time. Right. A lot fewer back then than. Than children are given now, but still I just feel like over the course of my entire lifetime. So many things can be traced back to a lot of the early chemicals that I was exposed to and the attack on my immune system.
Exactly. So it's built up. It's built up. It's not like from the beginning, but that was like a trigger. It's not just that, you know, something was building up, but in that case it didn't have, you know, we don't have the chance still to experience exposed to that many things.
Yeah.
The only things, big things that he was exposed was the mmr. I'm not saying, you know, it's not like I'm saying yes to do or not to. I'm just saying that there is so much around us that we can be exposed, but we can also reduce this amount of, you know, whatever it is that we can reduce that toxic.
And the toxic load.
Yes. Yeah. Yes.
Yeah. So I know we've mentioned a few things that can be treated, but what other kinds of like allergies or things can be treated using. Nate.
So great, great question. So the. The allergy is basically we have. We can treat, you know, the. The food allergy like a soy or gluten or fruits, anything to do with nuts or dairy or the symptoms sensitivity not cause. They can. The sensitivity to that can cause also other conditions like digestive. But we'll talk about that. I wanted to go over all the environmental allergies like dust mites, mold, insect, bees, mosquito mold, animal dander. All that is this is an allergy that usually related to this change in the pollen level. So that's, you know, part of this. The other ones is chemical and synthetic allergy. Like any car. Car exhaust, like a smoke or cleaning in the house or kind of perfume. Yeah. Food additive and all that. Yes. So in emotional sensitivity. Sensitivity. That's what we were talking about that it also can help with any related. Like anxiety or any others discomfort that comes from that. And of course, drug, drug sensitivities, all kind of medication. We are not saying yes or no. We're just saying that sometimes we can be having a kind of symptoms, side effects from that. We are. And of course we are about the vaccines also here we are treating. I treat, you know, before even you get the vaccine, in case they're going to do the vaccine. We treat that and we ask the people, you know, to bring a little bit of that material so we can treat it also at office. But that can be treated. And. And I wanted to mention also that, you know, I don't know if we talk about that more. But before. But you know, it's to teach the people also, you know, how to do that and how to being aware if something's going on, how they can do treatment by themselves at that moment. Yeah, before. Yeah, yeah, but I know we mentioned that, but yes, I wanted just to make sure that it's.
Yeah, thank you. And. Well, and I think that it's just. It's so fascinating to me too, because I know I supposedly had a milk protein intolerance or allergy as a baby as well, and then I had a peanut allergy for about six years in my 20s that I just kind of grew out of. You know, they say, oh, allergies can come and go in six or seven year cycles. And I'm like, that's so strange. Like, why are. Like, there's something. I feel like we're missing something here. And so anyways, when Lily got her allergy diagnosis, I was like, no, no, we gotta, we gotta. There's gotta be a faster way to work through this.
It's manifest later on with something else, but that's how it's coming back.
So.
Yeah, but we need to treat that, you know, at the same time when it's happening, just to clear the path. That's all.
Yeah, well, and even with functional medicine practitioner that I was working with, she had me on all these supplements based on my blood work and everything. And I remember I brought them to you in one of our early sessions for, you know, when you were working with me. We're still working together, but in one of our early sessions. And you tested the individual supplements to see how my body was reacting. And I think like, half of them I was fine and half of them my body was like resistant to. It was not, you know, and I was like, this is so interesting because this has been prescribed to me as something that should be helpful to me, but it's actually caused a problem, probably causing inflammation and preventing me from healing. Even if it is something that showed up on my blood test as a supplement that I could benefit from. Right. And I'm buying the cleanest supplements I can find and so on and so forth. Right. So I found that very interesting. And then, you know, I've actually like weaned myself off of all of those supplements at this point. So I don't really take anything other than maybe boosting some vitamin C and stuff when I'm around my kids who are sick or I'm traveling, you know, things that I'm using that I know my body responds okay too, because We've tested it, but also, as needed, not on a daily basis, you know, anymore. So that's been very helpful for me. And I do feel like I've already been able to add in a lot of higher histamine foods again, and not have reactions. There are certain things that I just don't respond well to, but I really never have. And like, I don't need to eat fried foods. My stomach has never liked fried foods. It's not healthy. Like, it's.
Yes.
It's not a goal for me.
Yes, exactly.
Yeah. I'm like, I like spicy foods, but my body doesn't love spicy anymore because I think that just kind of kicks up like a histamine reaction based on usually what's in the spicy foods. And so I'm like, those are the kinds of things that are easier to avoid because when I first came to you, I was gluten free, dairy free, low histamine. And I was like, I can't eat anything in a restaurant. Like, I can get like a grilled piece of chicken and a vegetable, like a steamed vegetable, like that's maybe a potato. Like that's it. That's, you know, the only meal I feel like I can find on a restaurant menu because otherwise I'm leaving out half of the ingredients in every other dish because they are all high histamine or they're not gluten free or there's dairy or, you know. But the histamine thing was probably the hardest amongst all of those because I've been gluten free for years at this point. That's easy. It's the histamine that really, like, threw me through a loop and I was like, I'm going to heal this. And we got to heal this fast because I feel like I can't function.
Yes, yes. It's, you know, again, when we get to do the. This method and we are treating. So the idea is to. Yes, to eliminate that for a short time. Like 25. Usually it's 25 hours. It's the time that my. The meridians is working and. And after that we introduce ourselves again to that family that we are avoiding. But really it's the. Again, the idea, it's to build up a nice relationship between me and the food. The food is fabulous. I love food. We all love food. Memories are gathering around, you know, the table when we eat in and all this. So. Yes. But again, we just need to be more careful about certain things and being aware to, you know.
Yeah, well, and with Lily, you've Had different, like, emotions too, sometimes, because, like, she's sometimes a little anxious or she may be kind of, you know, worried about something. And so you've also been able to treat some of those emotions in some of the sessions.
Yes. So we need to remember, you know, according to the Chinese medicine we have, let's say that the liver, it's related more to anger. So if we have frustration or grief, it's more kidney. If we have overwhelmed, so it's more heart. So we are looking and we ask in the same way that I ask about the food, I ask about this emotion if it's stored somewhere within me now or long time ago. It could be from the birth or later on or you name it. Many things can. So, you know, each in each and every glance have his own identity. So each and every. The pancreas, the parathyroid. Like, so. So when I treat, like, let's say one of the. Let's say that I'm treating pancreas, so I will ask about family issue and things like that. And if I get something like that, it's like I'm giving a message again, the body to understand, okay, we can release that memory. Let's delete it. And that's, you know, going away. So this is.
And again, it feels like it's kind of moving the energy through the body, kind of moving beyond stagnation.
Yes. That's released. And, you know, it's not that we don't have. We have tons of them, but every time it's get minor and the symptoms, it's not dramatic like they were before. That's the idea. And yes. So, yeah, I love that.
I love that. Oh, this has been so helpful. Are there other things, like, anything else you want to talk about with Nate? I mean, I know you and I have conversations all the time just about, like, health in general, because your background is, you know, you're a naturopath with your background, which has also been super helpful for us because I think, you know, we've. We've had other conversations. You've given us some other, like, you know, little tips and tools and things that we can do. And I know, like, Lily even today is home with a cold sore throat congestion. And so I'll bring her in to see you on days like that, and, you know, you'll actually treat kind of. We'll figure out if there's a virus or something that is showing up, you know, in her system, and you'll do a treatment and oftentimes within like, a day or two. She's back in school and totally fine. And we didn't have to medicate. We didn't, you know, and so complete 180. Right. It's sort of like, I know you and I talked about getting back to nature and really trusting our bodies because our bodies know how to heal if we give it the right tools. So I don't know. I don't know if you want to add anything to that, but I know that's been very helpful for us.
Yeah, I like, you know, I like to remind people, you know, that we can be. We can go back to that simple and natural things. Everything is really right. Step away from me. And we don't need to. To do so much. But the idea, really, it's like. To listen to my body. To listen to what. Who, you know, to listen to what's going on with me, whether it's mental, whether it's physical, if I have something that I'm feeling upset, even mood or whatever it is that might be related to something that I'm eating or not or something, you know, that goes on. So we, you know, I, I, as a practitioner, I like to. To see everything, you know, I. The Nate, it's a combination of the mind and the body, and it's holistic. And if I treat, I just. It's not like I treat just the organ of the liver because they all needed to be. Needed attention, everything. So I don't want anyone to be offended. I wanted to treat everything. I wanted to make sure that, you know, whatever it is that we are experiencing is. It's something that we can, you know, investigate a little bit and just remove and. Yeah. And let, you know, let my body be back to the original state where he didn't have any of this.
Yeah. Yeah. Well, I'm excited because I know Lily's pretty much done with all of her, like, main treatment for the most part. We're kind of working through her reaction to cold energy right now because that breaks her out in hives. And so that's something I know we've been working on. But when, when she's done, I'm going to start to bring Mia, my, My younger one, who's got, you know, she's been on her own health journey and definitely had some vaccine reactions. And so I know we've got some things to work through there. And we've been. Again, we've been on a health journey with her. She's doing so much better. So, so much better. But I think her biggest thing is that she now has A lot of inflammation in response to like, gluten and dairy. And so she's. She's eating dairy, but we're doing lactate pills, which really helps her. So I know there's something with just the digestive enzymes in, in her body that maybe are, you know, a little. There's some blocked energy there and, you know, and she's been gluten free and that's been going great, but she doesn't get sick nearly as much as she used to. And I've never shared this on the podcast, but it's very interesting because I was actually. She wanted to go to sleepaway camp and we're going to not go next summer. But when I submitted her vaccine records, she actually doesn't. She never had the mmr, and it was because she was always so sick that they wouldn't give it to her. And so, you know, at that point I was just kind of trusting everything and letting them do everything. And she. But she was constantly, you know, being diagnosed with croup. And she had RSV maybe once or twice as a baby too. And this started in infancy, right. And so it was as soon as she started getting vaccinated that she was just always, always sick. Like we were in the emergency room, like probably three times in the first year just because scary to see a. A baby not be able to breathe and catch their breath. And then she had an infantile seizure once. That time she was dehydrated. She wouldn't nurse well. Rs. She was diagnosed with rsv, dehydration and croup. And so she. They ended up giving her IV fluids and she was okay, but just constantly on steroids or antibiotics. Mostly steroids, but definitely some antibiotics too. And then I remember when she. Her third year when we moved down here to Florida and she was in the threes. She had croup nine times as a three year old. Nine times. And at that point I was like, enough already. Like, enough. I had started getting into homeopathy and taking courses just to learn to how to help my family because I felt like we just keep getting the same diagnosis and the same meds and nothing's actually improving. It's sort of like this wheel that we just keep repeating. Yeah. And I was like, I'm, I'm over it. Like, we've gone to, you know, pulmonology, we've gone to the pediatrician, we've gone to a different pediatrician because we moved. You know, it's like. And no one really had answers and. And so I just Remember thinking like, well, what I know in my world is that if you expand the airway, if they have a high narrow palate structurally, and you know, there's inflammation, she's getting this constriction. But if I maybe put this early expansion device in her mouth and expand her skeletally because she's got a high narrow palate, maybe when she gets inflamed, she won't go into an emergent state because her airway won't be as tiny. And so I remember I actually just ran into one of her three year old pre K or that pre K, but preschool teachers who doesn't work at the synagogue anymore. So I never see her. And I was picking up a dress for my brother's wedding at the tailor and I walk in, I was like, oh my gosh. Hi. And so we were talking and she's like, how's Mia? And I showed her a picture and she was like, but how's her airway doing? She was like, because she remembers that I put her into this appliance and was taking her out of preschool to drive to North Miami to go have it adjusted or to have it checked or to go to, you know, anyways. And I said, you know, since that year she's had croup maybe a couple times and that's it. And if she starts to get sick, I, you know, she starts to present with symptoms I have, I use homeopathy, I use natural remedies, I use things to support the immune system. I said, I also don't treat a fever. I trust that it's the body's way of healing. I said, but she's so rarely like critically sick. Like she, you know, if anything it's a cold. Whereas, you know, she could have been around a kid who sneezed. The kid sneezes, she gets a cold the next day, and two days later she has croup. And that's basically what used to always happen to her body. And so, but, and I know that the, you know, the steroids weren't helping either because that just depletes your immune system even more. So I was like, this is kind of an evil situation. Yeah, like I'm trying to treat her, but I'm actually making her immune system worse while treating her. And then we're getting it again 10 days later, 20 days later. But anyways, all that to say, you know, it just definitely opened up my eyes to all these alternative methods. And so long story, long story long. I, when I looked at her vaccine records, the camp basically was like, because I stopped at vaccinating her when she was two because that's when the pandemic started. So at that point everything was shut down. So you know, even if I wanted to, like they weren't offering it. We were shut down for a year where I was living. And so I, they said, well, she has to get the mmr, she wants to go to sleepway camp. And I was like, but she's six, almost seven. And even looking at the cdc, it says that you've aged out at that point, that you don't have to get it after age 6. So why would I, like, why would I give that to her at this point? But also the healing journey that we've been on, you know, we have a pediatrician here who is a combination of eastern and western and she'll give you the vaccines if you want them and she won't give them if you don't want them. And so she lets you basically have choice. And you know, I'm at this point where I'm like, I'm doing my research and I'm trying to heal my children and putting chemicals in their body while we're trying to heal doesn't make sense to me any longer. So you know, and the craziest part I will say is that and I'm still on a learning journey, I won't say that I'm anti, you know, vax or anything, but I am anti putting chemicals in children's body for absolutely no reason. And it seems like more and more and more of these vaccines. I think there's over 100 on the schedule now. There's absolutely no reason for most of them, Absolutely no reason for most of them. So. And I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of people listening to this going like, oh my gosh, I had no idea Halle felt this way or thought this way. Listen, like before 2020 I was just blindly following everything and then I woke up. And then I woke up and it really, it made me get, you know, kind of give a hard look at everything I put in my kids bodies because the healthiest children that I know are children that have never had vaccines. And it's absolutely mind blowing to me. And I'm still trying to grapple with that because I'm like, yes, we, you know, at this point I just want to be able to heal my kids and if anything that's kind of remnant in their systems. I just want to make sure that their immune systems are healthy and that they're healed. But anyway, so yeah, long. Long story. Long, not so short.
You know, it's like waking up to.
Yeah.
And that's okay to say. Yeah. You know, we, we just need to. To talk about that and if that's what we feel about not. Oh yes, you know, know this is something that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well and it's, you know. And I know like we said, like we've talked about kind of returning back to nature and getting back to allowing our bodies and you know, to do what they know best.
Yes. When you go to the grocery, you know, you can skip 39th and you can go just to one aisle where you consider that food is food even that you need to, you know, the pesticides and things like that. Tons of things that's okay. But at least we are giving our. The energy of cucumber. It's different than the energy of something, you know that the processed food that I'm eating or the fry, you know, it's different.
Yeah.
So we wanted to keep it simple and, and this is, you know, the way that we can protect our kids, our family and the community needs to, you know, need to be more into that and you know, with the, when we, when I'm talking about, you know, about the, let's say about all the asthma and respiratory system.
This is with Mia.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yes. So this is. You can improve that the way the moment you are removing that things you can treat it. You know, you don't need to take anything like syrup or something like that because that's will cover. Will add one more things into my body which doesn't have any. So this is, you know, the same.
Yeah, well that's what it turned into. Right. It turned into. Her group became like viral or allergy induced asthma. They couldn't tell me which one it was. They just said, oh, it's one or the other and hopefully she'll grow out of it by the age of four.
And this was.
She was like two at the time. And so I had a rescue inhaler, albuterol on hand. I had dexamethasone on hand. Like the doctor just gave it to me to keep so that when she would have these like middle of the night wake ups because that's when croup always seems to kick into play in the middle of the night. You know, we wouldn't have to go to the emergency room. And at the time I was like, oh, this is great because it saves me a trip to the emergency room with my kid. And then I started to go like Wait, this is not normal. I should not need to keep this stuff on hand. And also, it's not healing her. And the fact that they were telling me that she might turn into a kid who has, like, lifetime asthma, I was like, okay, this feels like it's in my hands now, and I need to figure out how to heal her before we get to the point of that. Because then she started having these asthma attacks when she would run, and she was really active, and it wasn't really an asthma attack per se, it was. But she would start running just inside her house, and she would start to cough, cough, cough, cough, cough, and could not catch her breath. And that only happened over the course of two summers. It happened both in Maryland and Florida. So I don't know that it was environmental per se. Maybe it was just cyclical based on where she was and having taken so many steroids, I have no idea. But they gave us Flovent, a different inhaler, which did seem to kind of like, nip it in the bud. It didn't come back for a whole year, and then it came back a year later, and again it was gone within two months using that inhaler. But at that point, I was like, I'm done. I don't want any more inhalers. I want to figure out how we can holistically get to the root of what is going on and heal her. And that's where the expansion came into play. That really seemed to kind of keep her out of that extra inflamma, inflamed mode. And. And now. And now it's just a matter of getting down to a big part of it. I think for her, too, is gut health. Like, the gut health. And, you know, she was like, her belly was always distended, and she was very gassy and just like, uncomfortable and fatigued, really tired. And then the. You know, last year, she started waking up in the mornings before school, and she loves school. And she would say, my tummy hurts. And every single morning, my tummy hurts. And I was like. But nobody could kind of pinpoint it. And so I was like, I'm just cutting out gluten. I'm going to see what happens. And her stomach aches went away. She didn't have stomach aches anymore, and some of her bloating went down. And, you know, then working with functional medicine, they recommended cutting out the dairy, which did help some. But I also noticed that giving her the lactase enzyme helped as well. And she's six, so I want her to enjoy Life too, a little bit. And it just was so restrictive, you know, not being able to eat dairy. So I'm like, well, I know it's very inflammatory for most of the population. I was like, I'm not ready to fully cut dairy out of her diet. So anyways, she and I are both gluten free and we take, you know, dairy pills if we want to eat dairy or I should call them lactase enzymes. But, but yeah, it's been very, very eye opening but also a very educational healing journey for all of us.
Yeah, yes, yeah, yeah. Simple things like, you know, the dust of the pollen that can contribute to this issue with the asthma or any of the symptoms. So it's, it's, it's simple, you know. Yeah, we just need to be, you know, to.
And now we found you.
There is something that we can treat with. We can check at least and see, you know, what's.
Yeah, well, this has been amazing. Gal, is there anything else we haven't covered that you want to mention or.
I think, I think we did. We cover a lot and I hope that, you know, the, the, the condition that, and the allergy that we can treat. It's understood here because it's going to be again, you know, anything like from skin conditions to gastro, you know, problems or, you know, so it's a very simple and friendly, friendly way.
Just keep it, keep it simple. Keep it simple.
Yes, please. Yes, yes.
Amazing. Well, I know everybody's going to be like, where can I find you? So I know you're in, currently in Boca Raton and also in Hollywood. Not Hollywood, yes, Hollywood, but galbuszone.com will link that below the episode so they can find you. And then I know you're also on Instagram as well, so we'll link your Instagram. Instagram for them so they can find you there too. But any other ways for them to contact you or is the website the best?
The website is the best. And yes, you have all my information, I guess over there, so no problem. Yes. And I just wish all of us, you know, just being aware to who you are and what's going on within you, whether it's again something that you feel in thinking. Everything, everything have its own energy, everything has its own identity and we need to respect that in any way that we can and take this responsibility to do good because it's, it's not just for us, it's for later on generation that we need to expand that and you know, let them know and.
Yeah, well, thank you so much. This has been amazing.
