Lily, show us how you do that. Whoa. You're a pro. You've been practicing, huh? Yeah. Can you show us again? So if you'll notice, Lily put her tongue up on the spot first. Then she closed her teeth. Put that against her teeth. Put her lips around it. Good. Good job fixing your lips. And now pop. Remember to pull it in. I think you're not plugging me in. That's why it's not popping. Plug in with your finger. Mm. You got it. Good job.
Yay.
Good job. So you can hear she's making a nice pop sound. So we're gonna do another exercise. Lily, do three more of those while I let Coby out. This is mayo in the kitchen, right? All right. Nice job. Okay, give your sister the straw. She wants to try. All right, now we have a new exercise. We're going to put our tongue up. I'm going to spray into your tongue. Actually, I'm not going to spray your tongue yet. Close your teeth first with your tongue up the lips. We're going to pull the lip oil here like this. Good. And I'm going to spray a little bit there. And you're going to go like this. And with your tongue up, you're going to swallow it. Easy or hard. Did you swallow it or not yet? Yeah. So we're going to use an elastic soon, but not on this one. Okay, I'll help you. One minute. Okay, so we're going to use an elastic next time, but we're not going to do it yet because it's our first time trying. But, Lily, here's what we're going to do. Watch mama, and I'll show you guys, too. What I'm trying to do is get her to swallow with her tongue up. So we're going. So we're swallowing with our mouth open, but what I'm doing is closing my teeth, keeping my tongue on the spot. And so I was just trying to slurp the water up so that I could get it on my tongue. Another. If this is too tricky, you can also do this.
It's too tricky, mama.
Great. And we want to keep the tongue from pushing forward. We want to stay on the spot. You want to try? All right, so we're going to try it a different way. So one way we can problem solve is open your mouth, hold up on your tongue.
I do that to my mouth.
Can you swallow with your mouth open? Did you do it? That's pretty impressive. Lily Balkan, she actually just did a. Something I usually do later on in the program, but she Just swallowed with her tongue suctioned to the top of her mouth without closing her lips. And her tongue did not come forward. So we might even skip over what we were just trying to do because she's already able to do a more advanced skill. You want to do it here, Open mouth. Ah, no. I'm going to spray you. Open. Yeah, I got to go like this.
I can do it.
Okay. Pull the water on top of your tongue. Show me how it's. And swallow with your mouth open like that. Just swallow. Oh, girl, you are good. So that's actually really good because we still have our tongue. Still comes forward when we're speaking. But right now it's staying up on top. Yummy. A high five. That is all I had planned for today with Lily because I did not even think we were gonna get that far. So we will make another video soon. You wanna do it more? Here, you try yourself. You want me to get your straw Mia to fall down?
No, I was straw.
Oh, it's Lily's straw. Do you want more straw? Can you get it to work? Gotta spray it. Yep. But then. Good. Now.
Mmm.
Suction your tongue to the top. You swallow it already.
I wanna do it. I just wanna do whatever I want.
You wanna do it? Okay, show us your idea of an exercise. But how are you knowing if you keep your tongue up?
Can I do it?
You wanna spray too?
Yeah.
All right, here, try. Alright, guys, so we're gonna work on that and make sure that we're really getting it. And in a couple of days, maybe one second in a couple of days, we'll come back and we will show you what else we're working on. Say bye.
Don't worry about my rainbow.
Just worry about your rainbow. Okay. Bye rainbow.
Bye, rainbow.
