Dr. David Farcy introduces PBCFR Chief Charles Coyle at the FLAAEM 2024 Conference, highlighting his role in implementing Florida's first blood transfusion in the EMS system in Palm Beach County.
Emotion. Just to think he's over 20 years has touched, changed lives.
Palm Beach County. What he has done in Palm beach county is undescribable as becoming the top EMS system. Why is EMS important? All the residents in the room, the students, when they bring up patients who tend to discard the report, pretend to not pay too much attention. They are the first contacts. They're the first one that sees something that you may need down the road. You need to establish a relationship. And the study that I'm a little bit biased, but the study that we did in the state of Florida was really, really a hard flash to accomplish. But by himself, went to the legislative with the fire chief and the commission and was able to have the first blood transfusion in Palm beach county in the state of Florida. So it is really my great honor to introduce Chief Khali. Not only do I call him my chief, but I also have the honor to call him my friend.
