Jeff Williams presents a large review of emergency dispatch systems' ability to predict patient acuity. He states this is one of the largest reviews, covering many millions of charts overall, and that the analysis drills down into cases with high-quality dispatch data to evaluate whether dispatched response levels (e.g., alpha calls) matched patient acuity.

So just to not bury the headline, this is one of the largest reviews of, let's say, how our dispatch systems do do their job in terms of predicting acuity. It's one of the largest because it entails, you know, overall, you know, many millions of charts overall. But then it drills down on cases where we have good data in terms of what we chose to send somebody out on, on the dispatch, whether it was an alpha call.
