Day 2: The 5-Day Knowledge Broker Millionaire Challenge

T. Harv Eker explains how to build a business by sharing knowledge or curating others' expertise. You can operate at three levels: expert (your own specialized knowledge), reporter (curate and share experts' insights), or promoter (market expert content and split revenue). Oprah is a promoter who built an empire this way.

All right, we are here. Day number two, my friends, welcome to day number two. Pumped that you're here and you made it to day number two. Day number one was freaking awesome. We've got some amazing energy going on. I am super, super excited that we are on full steam going to day number two. Yeah, I get freaking pumped about this stuff. It's so awesome. I'm participating with you, you know, I'm participating with you. I'm here with you every single step. So day number two. Now let's recap a little bit. Yesterday we talked about the reason why we want to become take part in this knowledge broker system. We want to have this, you know, impact. We want to create something to share our own knowledge or someone else's knowledge. And today I'm going to tell you all the different ways that you can do that. So the knowledge broker is someone in the self education system who's impacting people's lives by sharing their knowledge, their hobbies, their passion, their skills, or someone else's knowledge, passion, hobbies or skills with an audience that is really interested to learning from them. Again, I used in the very beginning a keto example, which is a fitness plan for eating a certain way. If you are an expert in making keto recipes, you know, people want to get on that KE diet because they want to look good, right? They want to look awesome. So that is a way that you can use the knowledge broker system to create a business of creating keto recipes. And people will happily pay you for that. You know, I know a millionaire who is an, who has a knitting community. She teaches people how to, how to knit, she gives them yarn, she teaches them how to knit. She's killing it. She's a millionaire from knitting. Don't think that what you possibly can get into won't work because there's some crazy shit out there that's working these days. Okay, so day number two, let's get this fricking started. Day number two. Day number two is talking about the knowledge broker and breaking the knowledge broker down into the three different levels that you can actually participate as a knowledge broker. The first level is the expert level. Now when we say expert experts different than it used to be. It's not a professor or doctor or teacher necessarily. You don't have to have some accolades or awards or something crazy to be an expert. An expert, where we're defining it as is someone who's one or two or three steps ahead of the person that wants to learn from them. They're the smartest person in that room of people who want to learn the stuff that they maybe already know. So if you've experienced something and you've learned something from that experience, and other people are still going through what you've already gone through, you're an expert, an expert in the knowledge broker system. If you know how to do something, like the keto recipes. If you know how to do something, you're an expert in this scenario of the knowledge broker system. So that's level one is being an expert. Level two, it's called the reporter. The reporter is someone who doesn't necessarily want to be the expert, but they want to report other experts thoughts, their wisdom, their principles, their strategies, and then they want to share that with an audience. I think of that like Oprah Winfrey, right? Oprah has this great show where, you know, people coming on, all these experts are coming on and sharing their insights. And Oprah is that reporter sharing that with her audience in the world, right? So Oprah is a reporter. She's reporting on what she's finding from other people and letting the experts share. That's just an example of a reporter. Another example is, let's just say that, you know, you want to collect data on 500 interviews of the most successful people and what they have in common. You go and interview all these people and then you report on what they do, and then you share that with the world. So you're a reporter of all these experts, which is pretty great, right? So you don't necessarily have to be an expert. You can be a reporter. And then the third level is something called a promoter, or at least I call it a promoter. And a promoter is someone who is willing to promote an expert and do all the work, do all the promotion for them, and then they share the revenue that comes from the promotion. This is what I've been doing for the last eight years. You may or may not know. Most of you probably do know that my dad is T. Harv Eker. He wrote one of the best and most popular financial, personal financial books of all time, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind. And when he sold his business in 2011, what he didn't sell is his intellectual property. Property. And so what I did is I approached him and I asked him, hey, do you want to get this stuff online? Because I know the online world. I came from media buying and affiliate marketing. I know the online world, and I'd love to help you spread your word with the world. And so that's what we've been doing for the last eight years. Is I've been helping my dad continue his legacy, continue to be get his word out. And we've impacted hundreds of thousands of people over the last eight years. That's a promoter and you know, we get, we split the money together. So because I'm doing all the work and I'm using his information to do that, so I'm promoting him. This is exactly, you know, similar to what I'm doing with Tony and Dean. I am spreading the word out for all, all the people who are interested in the knowledge broker system and I'm helping them get the word out and promoting them to, to the community, to our audience, to people who are interested in joining the knowledge broker system. Alright, so those are the three levels. Where do you see yourself? What level do you see yourself? Now I want to tell you this really quickly. From my experience and from talking to Dean and talking to Tony, from talking to them and understanding the students that have gone through their program. What we're finding is most people are experts. They just don't know it and they're blocking themselves from being an expert. Most people have a specialized knowledge or an experience or some sort of transformation that they can teach other people and you know, it's something that they can actually do really well in and they just don't feel like they're an expert. They just don't feel like they're at that expert level. But most people are an expert in Tony and Dean's program. They actually take you through a series of exercises that extract, extract that expertise out of you. So you, so you, you actually understand what your expertise is. It's specialized knowledge. So let's change expert to specialized. Right? Let's change expert to specialized knowledge in some certain category. So that is just something I want you to be aware of is that don't not think you're an expert just because of the word of expert. Think of it as a specialized knowledge person. If that's a level that possibly you can go down. So there's three levels again. The expert, the reporter, the promoter. Which one are you put into the comments today? Which one resonates with you and why? Why does that resonate with you? That's your action for today. Put into the comments so that I can see what level resonates with you. Expert, reporter, promoter, and why. Thank you for showing up today. Keep going. Playing that 100% and I will see you. See you later this afternoon. Bye for now.
