Passion, Purpose and Profits

T. Harv Eker lays out a three-part success formula: right knowledge, right you (your beliefs and habits), and right vehicle (a business that fits you). He tried 14 jobs and 12 businesses in 10 years before realizing most people fail because their work doesn't match who they are.

How many of you would like to have a lot more money in your life? And how many of you would like to have a lot more fulfillment in your life? And how many of you would like to have a lot more of both in your life? If so, you have definitely come to the right place. My name is T. Harv Eker, and welcome to my web class. Passion, Purpose, and profits. Okay, so let's take a look at success. Well, most people want it, right? But have you noticed that most people don't achieve the level of success that they really desire? Why is that? Well, in most cases, it's because they are missing one or more of the three. How many? Three parts in the success formula? Well, what is the success formula? Here it is. It is RK plus RY plus RV equals success. Okay, let's break it down. So what is rk? RK stands for right Knowledge, meaning how knowledgeable are you in business in general as well as your expertise in your specific field? Okay, well, what about R Y? And RY stands for the right you, meaning do you have the right beliefs, the right attitude, the right habits and the right character? The right character to succeed. And then finally you have RV and that stands for right vehicle. Right what? Right vehicle. Very good. Are you in a vehicle that is in high demand? And just as important, does this vehicle express who. Who you really are? Now, all three parts of the formula are extremely important. However, today we're going to focus on a part that seems to be a huge problem for an awful lot of people, and that is rv the right vehicle. A business or career that will not only succeed financially, but will also make you happy. And the secret is, is that the vehicle that you choose has to be the right fit. What's the word? Fit for you? The business or career that you choose has to fit you specifically, too. And this, my friends, is one of the biggest problems most people have. Their business or job doesn't fit who they really, really are. So they end up with no passion, no meaning, and a lot of frustration in their life. Then they either stay in the situation for years and years and continue to stick it out because they have to pay the bills, of course, or they constantly jump from one situation to another, searching for that right opportunity that will not only make them happy, but good money, too. Does this ring a bell for anybody that you might know? Maybe even someone sitting in your chair right now? You know what? It sure does for me, because this was one of my biggest challenges that I ever had in my entire life, myself, as some of you might know. I actually had 14 different jobs and 12 different businesses in just 10 years. Searching for the right work, looking for the hottest new businesses and the upcoming trends, trying anything and everything where I thought I could actually make my fortune. And hopefully quickly. And even though I was sure this was the route to happiness and success, I ended up with little money, little meaning, and little fulfillment. It wasn't until I stopped. I stopped looking at outside opportunities and I started looking inside that my life changed. And for the first time, I started to get really close. Clear. And what I found out was that I was searching. What I was searching for was not outside of me. It was inside of me. And that I didn't need to figure it out. I had to let it out. I had to let out what was inside of me, express who I was, and share my gifts.
