A short monologue by T. Harv Eker describing what financial freedom feels like and why passive income is the key. Eker emphasizes that true freedom is the ability to choose how to spend one’s time (not having to say “I have to”), made possible when income exceeds expenses. The piece contrasts having money in the bank with being financially free and highlights choice as the central benefit.

So people ask me all the time, harv, what does it feel like? What is it like to be fully financially free? It's amazing. It's the best thing ever. It is the winning the money game, the pinnacle of that game. You know, having massive amounts of wealth in the bank is, is great, but it's not, it's not necessarily winning the money game because you might have a lot of money in the bank, you might, you still might be working, you might still have to work to be able to keep your expenses up, etc. Etc. Not any money in the bank necessarily do anything for you. What you want is, you want freedom and that comes from passive income. Here's the biggest thing now, two things isn't closely the lifestyle. The main thing about becoming financially free is freaking choice. You can do what you want with the most precious thing you have, which is your time. You only have time, that's it. When you are financially free, you can do what you want with that time. You could be, you could be golfing, you could be hiking, you could be at the beach, you could be reading a book, you could be in service of other people, you could do whatever you want. The worst words in the world are, I have to do this. I have to, I have to, I have to, I have to. That sucks, man. That sucks. I have to. Sucks versus I choose to. I want to. And not just, you know, that it's supportive to say that, but you really can do whatever you want because you have more and more money coming in than your expenses.
