Short YouTube segment in which David Henzel argues that every decision stems from either love (abundance/prosperity mindset) or fear (scarcity mindset). He suggests shifting organizations toward love-based decisions by starting small (one department at a time) and cites the book Reinventing Organizations, which adapts Spiral Dynamics to business, briefly describing color-coded consciousness levels (red as mafia-like/fear-based, yellow as military/authority-driven, orange as a higher level).

I believe that every decision in life is either made of love or fear. Or you can also say it's, you know, a scarcity or a prosperity or abundance mindset, you know. Or when you're religious, you can also say fear is the devil, God is love. You know, I really think it's a mindset shift. And if you want to change your company and make this more love based decision, maybe start with like one department at a time and not like make this big overarching shift. There's an amazing book called Reinventing Organizations and this gentleman took the concept from Spiral Dynamics, a book that talks about the consciousness levels of societies and applied it to businesses. And the lowest form and you give it color. So lowest form is red. And this is like a mafia type structure, you know, or gang situation where it's like sphere and pressure, etc. Very fear based. Then one up is yellow, which is military. And the military, if you're my sergeant or whatever is like above me and you tell me to do something, I'll do it even if I know it's the wrong thing, right? And then one level up in terms of consciousness is orange.
