You know, so I went to the top residency, the, you know, the top medical school, did all this research, became chief of interventional radiology in my hospital until I really just broke down. That same year, I got my chronic disease diagnosis. I had a tear in my shoulder, and I was told I might not be able to do surgery anymore. I was dating someone that I thought was going to marry, and they left me for someone else. Everything in my life, it seemed like there was a cosmic two by four that hit me over the back of my head and said, something's just not right. And that really started to uncover the path in which I stepped forward in, you know, I quickly made changes to my lifestyle habits, did additional training in longevity medicine at the time, and started to understand this, that how we live our life is actually medicine. When I was a little bit more conscious about how I was living my life, in particular the lifestyle choices I was making, I reversed my conditions in a very short period of time.
