A spoken reflection arguing that self-limiting behaviors arise from self-limiting beliefs which are not the true self. The speaker reframes these beliefs as universal 'thought viruses,' urges listeners not to blame themselves, and invites contemplative inquiry into one's true, limitless nature.

Yeah. So what I wish people knew about self limiting behaviors is first of all that they're based on self limiting beliefs. And that also those beliefs aren't true and those beliefs aren't really you. That there is no such thing as a personal pattern or problem. All patterns of lack limitation or self limitation are universal beliefs of a self or a life that is separate from the one life you didn't create. These self limiting beliefs, they're like thought viruses that we caught. And this is so important because you don't want to blame yourself. You don't want to ju judge yourself. It's not your fault. But it is now your opportunity and ultimately your responsibility to know the truth about you. And the truth about you is limitlessness. The truth about you is that you are the light of the world. The light that lights up every man and woman that cometh into the world. That you are whole and complete and infinite, individualized expression of all of the love and all of the peace and all of the good and all of the wisdom and all of the genius. That there is a unique, unprecedented expression of life and love right now. And no experience and no belief and no behavior and no condition has ever or can ever diminish who you really are. And so my invitation to you is to ask the question. Instead of trying to solve the problem, ask the question, who and what am I really? What am I really made of and made for? As the Zen Cohen says, show me the face you had before your parents were born. Meditate on that.
