The A of Acer is the roots. So we think about the acceptance, our emotions as like the roots of the tree going down into the earth, the hidden parts of ourselves, the dark half, the things that we don't usually look at. The sea of Acer is connection, and that's the branches of the tree. And we really believe that our branches, our sense of meaning and purpose, what we stand for, what we grow towards, is a mirror image of our roots. And then the trunk of the tree is the E, that's the embodiment. And that's kind of the place where the transformation happens. And the R is the restoring to the rhythms and patterns of nature is about coming back to our interconnectedness. And where that is in the tree is the mycelial connection underneath the tree that connects one tree with all the other trees in the forest. And that is what I feel our community brings people in these times.
