What I saw with my clients I was working with is they were spending so much time on marketing, but on the wrong thing. So the way I look at simplicity is that it's the needle mover. It's the biggest bang for your buck. It's less, it's not more. It's cutting things away. So that's where the 5 light bulbs came about. And so none of these other tactics and these marketing channels everyone's telling you, you got to be on TikTok or Instagram or whatever it is, and these tactics like the countdown timers and the viral share buttons and all that. My clients, I would see them spending so much time on these things. I'm like screaming from the mountaintops. When I get to talk to them, I would tell them directly like, hey, this is not a needle mover because you don't even have your argument in place. And we see that when we take people through our programs and with the 5 light bulbs and they're asking these questions like, what are your light bulbs? And it doesn't add up. It's all confusing. There's contradictions in there and everything. So it's like, okay, hold the phone. Why are we spending time posting on LinkedIn where we're not even clear on our marketing message?
