A true legacy is not what you leave. It's who you become. Nelson Mandela didn't build any schools in Africa, but as a result of who he was, many schools in Africa got built. And when people get that, they can get off this. I need to be able to have plaque erected on a wall with blah, blah, you know, I want to be remembered. For now, who you become is far more of a legacy. And again, who you become will be or be directly correlated to, to the impact you make. Who cares if you fed a million homeless people, if, at the end of the day, you were an asshole? Right? Who cares that you donated $10 million to the endowment of the university? If you go home and you're abusing your partner? Right. That's not a legacy. That's a facade.
