Hello, I'm Heather, and I'd like to share my story as to why I do support women over the age of 40 who are starting over. I was 49 when the man I had loved since I was a teenager, the man I had built a life, a home, a family with, said he needed space, and that space turned into divorce. And suddenly, at an age when most people are planning their retirement holidays or adding extra pillows to the guest room for grandchildren, I, I was staring at a blank slate, and it terrified me. I met my ex in Before I, I was 16, he was all I'd ever known. The idea of dating again as an adult, as a woman with stretch marks and stories, heartbreak and history, felt unthinkable. Who, who was I now without him? Where did I belong? And who would ever truly see me, let alone love me?
