And for those of you that haven't joined me before, my name is Heather Prince and my nickname on social media is the Root Master because I get to the core root of what's going on with you. And I've been shuffling these cards as I'm waiting, and I'm gonna pick one to see what the theme is for today. Oh, I love this! Um, it's Patience. It's actually my personal life lesson is to be patient. And so many of us are impatient, aren't we? We all want it and we want it yesterday, and we don't want to wait. Um, but we have to trust that the higher forces of life to know what is best for you, what is best for me. And remember That when you're asked to wait, you're being prepared for something even better than you expected. So we have to change our attitude to one of acceptance and relax and take stock, um, and just allow things to unfold as we're waiting for, for whatever it is that we're aiming for. And just watch out for the signs of things that are the bigger picture. Don't rush off on some wild goose chase or lower our will. And when the time is right, um, we'll be ready and refreshed, and the next door will open, because patience is always rewarded. And those of you that love an affirmation, because I love an affirmation, it's all things happen at the perfect time. So that is so relevant to the Lunch and Learn today. Hello and welcome everyone to this mini Lunch and Learn with me, Heather Prince, the Root Master. So that is incredible. Um, we have got people that join us from all around the world, so if you're watching this later, please put hashtag and, and let me know what you got from watching this, uh, Lunch and Learn, because we're going to be looking at a quote that I shared earlier on this week in Facebook, which is, we must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us. And it's by, um, a guy called Joseph Campbell, for those of you that haven't heard of that quote before. I think it's really good We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us. So any one of you in my group that is now solo, and like me you'd planned this marriage till death do us part, and then it all goes awry and then you're solo, or perhaps you've been widowed and unfortunately you lost your partner due to a sudden fatal heart attack, or you lost your partner after a long illness. Um, and all what you'd planned in the future is now not going to happen. So we have to, to let go of, of that to have the life that is waiting for us. Um, it'd be really interesting to hear what you feel about that quote by Joseph Campbell, because he's talking about being willing to let go of the life that we planned. And this is not to say um, that anybody out there that isn't solo, that you give up easily when things don't go according to plan, or you don't plan things out at all. There's nothing wrong with persevering or planning your future to a T if, you know, you're planning regarding your, your business aspect in your life. Um, and being able to do that is a good thing because that typically sets you up for success. However, understand that sometimes things don't work out, like a relationship, because they aren't meant to. I know that's a hard one, isn't it? You know, they don't work out because they aren't meant to be forever. Um, they were only meant to help us grow on a soul level, to teach us a life lesson. But the more that you fixate on them, the less likely you're, uh, to see or accept any alternative, including an alternative that might actually be the path you're meant to take. So I know on a personal level, when my relationship ended and everyone said, oh, embrace this time of being on your own, I didn't really like being on my own. I didn't know how to be on my own. I'd never been on my own. I'd moved from being, you know, with my parents and my brother into marriage and having my husband, and then having 3 children and being part of, you know, a core group of 5. And then it was just me. It felt very weird, and I didn't know how to, to be just me. Um, so I do get that if any of you are watching this. that are now solo after being part of a we? Um, I don't believe in plans as such. What I believe in is dreams, ideas, goals. And in my opinion, we have to know where we're going because it's like getting in a rowing boat with no oars and you just kind of float along. So you need the oars, you need the destination, you need to know where we want to be, and then take the opportunities that life gives us and paves our way to success. Because I see so many people have their perfect plan for life but end up being disappointed and frustrated because despite the fact that they followed their perfect plan, they didn't get to their destination. And they miss out on life because they blindly follow their plans, and they don't notice all the wonderful opportunities that life puts in front of them. All the opportunities that put together would take them eventually, with patience— we did get the card of patience this today, um— to their destination. And we all get chances in life, but only few of us are ready to take them in the time when they arise. For most of us, it's just following their plans and keeping all doors securely locked. So you wouldn't believe how many discussions I have with people who complain about their lives because their life wasn't as they wanted it to be or as they planned it to be. And they tell me their stories, and then I ask them why they didn't do this or that in the given situation, and they reply, oh, haven't thought about that, or yes, that's right, I could have done that. Yes, they didn't think about that because they were too focused on following their perfect plan. So nonetheless, life had a different roadmap for them, and if they were less focused on their plan and more focused on their goals, they also would be living their dreams. Um, and whoever I told about my dreams when I was younger, they laughed at me saying they were impossible childhood dreams. My problem at that point in my life was that I wasn't confident about achieving my dreams because I wanted to be an author, I wanted to be a journalist at the time. I didn't know at that point that I really wanted to be a healer, but once I got to about the age of— oh, must have been in my early 30s Then I knew that I wanted to be a healer. Before then, people just naturally came to me with problems. I was a natural, like, agony aunt without realizing that I was. Um, I never had a plan of how I would achieve my dreams. In fact, I had no idea how I could achieve them, but I kept dreaming, and I took whatever life gave me and tried to use it to get to my destination. Um, and the result is I am now a certified Spiritual Response Therapist, which means that I've learned how to clear negativity in the Akashic Records. Um, I am author of 3 books. Um, the first one was I Am Indigo, um, which is all about indigo kids. Second one is The Rainbow Within. The third one's an ebook, which is a kids' fruit book telling them all about where it comes from and what the nutrients are in them and how that helps your body. And actually, I've got a new book that's just out that I'm co-author of, which is called Vibe. And that's a coffee table book all about color and how, um, different aspects of color can raise our vibe— the color of the food that we eat, the color of the clothes that we wear, the color of our environment, of our space, all of that kind of thing. It's all on my website. Um, so as you see, I live my dream and I continue dreaming. And I achieved my dream on my own, keeping to rules of ethics and morals, just through determination, perseverance, and persistence. And most importantly, my life lesson— patience. Therefore, based on my experience, if I could give any advice, then I would say don't plan your life. Just have dreams and goals and let life do the planning for you. Know what you want in life and be ready to take the opportunities when they come. And remember, we all get chances in life, but only a few of us are ready to take them when they arise. For the majority of us, we're too focused on plans. So be one of them who is ready and live your dream. And we've got somebody that says, hey, Heather Prince. Well, hey, whoever you are, because you haven't given me your name. So let's just have a look for those of you that have come out of a relationship, um, what you need to do if your dream is to have a fulfilling, loving relationship but you, you haven't had one or you're in one that isn't quite right right now. So you've got to recognize the problem, you know. Is the relationship serving you for your highest good? Is, is the main question. Um, is the relationship negatively impacting other areas of your life? You know, is that person stopping you reaching your full potential in your work? Um, and is it detrimental to your self-esteem? You know, 3 big questions to ask yourself. And I'm sorry if you can hear that we have now got a downpour here. Uh, the rain is making quite a noise, so I hope that you can hear me. Yeah, I can hear you. Hear me. Um, so let's just sum up what this mini Lunch and Learn has all been about. It's about being prepared to lose what you have for what you might get, or what you are for what you might be. It's about letting go. It's that great Disney movie, Let It Go. I won't sing, I really can't sing. I do apologize, but it's Let It Go. So continue to plan out your life. Meanwhile, know when it's time to let go, and then be willing to let go. And who knows what else awaits when one door keeps closing? So if you want to know more about what I offer, please go to my website, which you can see on here, is therootmaster.com. Because most of my clients have that kind of stuff going on in their mind, and we need to change it to actually I am enough. Whatever you are, you are enough.
