Chapters
Hi, this is Brian with another mini chapter from a Philosopher's Notes. This one's called Commitments and Completions. Do you honor your commitments? You know when you say you're going to do something, do you or do you tend to make a lot of commitments and then drop a lot of balls letting yourself and others down in the process? Getting in the habit of honoring our commitments is huge. Fact is, we simply can't function optimally when we're dropping commitments left and right to develop integrity. Quit making so many commitments and really check in with before you make your next commitment and confirm to yourself that you will for sure follow through. And you might want to take a quick inventory of your current commitments. Are there any you've been avoiding you can knock out pretty quickly? Maybe some require communication about a new commitment or a new timeline and maybe you're no longer committed to some or maybe never were committed that you need to tell someone about. You need to communicate about that. What? Well, getting completions on our commitments is big. So let's Commitments and completions. Big, big stuff. Do you have any commitments out there that you're not honoring? It's draining a lot of your energy. Check in on it. Either follow through and get to completion or let the person know that you need to make a new commitment or you're no longer committed to that thing. It's going to free up a lot of energy and then get in the habit of only making commitments. When you plan to follow through, then follow through as quickly and efficiently and effectively as you can. Comm. Commitments and completions. Hope you dug it. Have an awesome day. Look forward to sharing more with you soon.
