Hi, this is Brian.
Welcome back to another micro class. This one's on the big you. It's inspired by louder than words. Todd Henry walks us through the fact that anytime we want to do anything great, whether it's a project or a piece of art or a business or a relationship, we go through. Peaks and valleys. You shaped is what he says all projects look like, right? There's you at the peak and you're sitting here looking over at your next peak that you want to get to. You're fired up, Life is good, you're inspired. Yeah, let's go do this right? You at the beginning of any project and you can apply this to any relationship, anything. It's easy at this phase, right? Then you go into the valley of the you. Now, same you, different look on your face. Now you're not quite so happy. Ah, what was I thinking? Up here we often think, right? Self doubt creeps in. The fear, the overwhelm. We question why we were ever inspired by.
This.
And we can't even see this anymore. We can't even see our target. We're just sitting here in the weeds and oh man, am I going the right way? We're in the valley.
You could say.
The valley of despair, right? You got a peak here, you got a peak here and you've got a long valley here. Now it's really important to recognize that everything goes through this process because when we can see that when we get down here, we don't need to let our emotions run the show, Right? Sometimes we do need to disengage and get another project, which is a whole other conversation. Oftentimes this inspiration just needs to be rekindled such that we can do what needs to get done next and work our way up this incline such that we can get to the other side and celebrate the successful completion of what we were so inspired about over here. Peaks and valleys and the big you. Where are you in your life right now? Fired up or you kind of getting a little less than inspired? And how do you bring back this vision of your ideal and navigate that you with as much grace as possible? Remember, it's not about you in the Y o u sense. It's about the you in this sense. All creative work goes through that relationships. It's much easier to fall in love. Yay, I'm at the peak. Than to choose love. Oh, it's not quite so fun anymore. Why do you do that? Choose love. Choose creativity. Choose mastery in pursuit of your next peak. That's the you. Let's Navigate it with grace and power. Hope you enjoyed.

But we also have PDFs and MP3s.
Of our Philosopher's notes. So here's. Let's take a look at what a PDF looks like. This is an example of a Philosopher's Note. It's a six page PDF where I basically share some of my favorite thoughts, riff on it, talk about how other teachers say the same things, and give you a nice playful kick in the butt to go out and apply the wisdom that is a Philosopher's note.
Record that as an MP3 that you.
Can download as well.
