Today's book Roomy Daylight. A collection of mystical poetry that invites us to open our hearts, embrace the unknown and live with love and wonder. I vividly remember getting this book from a friend I met on a trip in which I studied. Socrates in Athens, Jesus in Jerusalem, Marcus Aurelius in the Danube of Hungary, and Rumi in Konya, Turkey. Awesome experience, lots of wisdom here. Here's your one minute summary. The heart knows what the mind cannot. True wisdom isn't found in logic alone. Listen to the deeper calling within you. Love is the path. The more you open your heart to people, to life, to the divine, the richer your experience becomes. Let go of control. Rumi reminds us that life is a flowing river. Stop resisting and trust the current. Silence holds the truth. In stillness we connect to something greater than words can express and be like the sun, give warmth, share light and expect nothing in return. Life is poetry in motion. How will you bring more love and openness into your day today? Check out the Philosopher's note as always in the app. Rumi, one of my all time favorite teachers. We don't talk about him a whole lot, but his poetry is beautiful. His wisdom is profound. Hope you enjoy.
