Hesed Ojieh describes prophesying to people so often his back strained, only to get the same prayer requests back. He calls this a "diseased" way of receiving: listeners doubt the words, which weakens their power. Trust in what you hear, he says, or it won't work.
In the scripture, I used to think, do you know how many times I prophesied to people? Prophesied until my back almost fell out of my waist, and they come back with the same prayer points. You know why? Because they're receiving is diseased. You know what it means diseased? It means it's corrupted. They doubt everything. Are you sure? How many people talk like that? Do you really mean it? You know why? It's because the way you receive has been corrupted. Now hear me.
