Hesed Ojieh explains the difference between having God in you and having God work through you. True faith means Christ accomplishes the work, not personal effort. He grounds this in 2 Peter 1:3 and calls for living by faith through obedience and alignment with Christ's purposes.

A lot of people have God in them, but they don't have God through them. Not faith that the thing will be done, but faith that Christ, his word, will come to pass. Bible says in 2 Peter chapter 1, verse 3, he said, according to his divine power, he has given us all things that pertains to life and godliness. Therefore, this is what I want to share with you. Therefore, I do not approach God as one that is abandoned from the inheritance. When I pray and when I speak, when I wake up in the morning, I'm coming from sonship, I'm coming from identity, I'm coming from stewardship, I'm coming from the fact that Christ is at work in me and through me, at work in me and through me. The construction of the world is at work in me, so through me there is a flow. A lot of people have God in them, but they don't have God through them. I believe that through Christ, that what heaven has ordained concerning me, hmm, is not distant for me. It is only seeking to be revealed. But I pray in the mighty name of Jesus, by the help of the Holy Ghost, that that which God has for me now has been revealed. Not just revealed, that I have access. I have access to the demonstration, to the manifestation, through faith, in obedience and stewardship and alignment I have that which concerns me.
