” FATHER’S DAY SERVICE " Wealthy Creek Church Houston

The video records a Sunday morning worship service at Wealthy Creek Church in Houston, held on Father’s Day. The service opens with exuberant congregational worship—repeated chants of praise, lifting hands, and declarations of God’s worthiness—led by various participants and Pastor Dr. Hesed Ojieh. After the worship segment, the pastor delivers a lengthy sermon centered on the biblical and practical significance of fatherhood. He argues that true blessing flows through spiritual fatherhood, citing Malachi 4:6, the Abrahamic lineage, and the genealogy of Jesus to illustrate that blessings are transferred from father to child. He distinguishes gender‑based fatherhood from a character‑based, spiritual role, urging listeners to identify and actively serve as father figures—mentors, providers, and spiritual guides—within families, churches, and communities. The sermon includes practical challenges (e.g., having at least five people who depend on you, caring for widows, supporting spouses) and prophetic declarations of prosperity tied to fulfilling this role. The service concludes with a tithes and offerings segment, a prayer for generosity, announcements of Father’s Day refreshments, and a call to celebrate the fathers present, especially Dr. Hesed Ojieh.

Into the kingdom of your dear son.
We celebrate Jesus this morning. Celebrate Jesus! Celebrate Jesus!
No father like Jehovah. No father like Jehovah. No father like Jehovah. No father like the King of Kings, the Almighty One, the Lion of the tribe of Judah. We worship you this morning. Hallelujah! Today, as we open this service. The Lord is saying to us from Proverbs 4:11-12, I will guide you in the way of wisdom and I will lead you in upright path. You will not be hampered, and when you run, you will not stumble. Hallelujah! Father, we worship you this morning. Give you praise. Open your hearts unto the Lord this morning and appreciate him. This morning we trust the Lord God Almighty to reconcile every heart to the heart of the Father in the name of Jesus. The spirit of fatherhood is manifest in this place this morning. The spirit of fatherhood is manifest in our lives this morning. The spirit of fatherhood is manifest in our lives this morning. We are no longer lonely. We are no longer afraid, we are not bereft because we have a Father who never leaves us nor forsakes us, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And he has appointed men to be fathers in our lives, so we appreciate him this morning. Father, we give you praise, we worship you, we thank you, Lord. We welcome you to take charge of this service. Let your name be glorified, let your name be glorified. This morning, open your heart with expectation. Expectation to receive from the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Glory be to Jesus.
Lift up your hands and worship God this morning. Hallelujah, hallelujah! Glory to God! Lift up your hands and worship God this morning. Are you happy to be in the presence of God? Hallelujah! In the house of your Father. Hallelujah! The Father of all life, the Father of grace, the Father of love, the Father of favor. Hallelujah! Are you excited to be in the house of your Father? David said something, my God. He said, I was glad when they said unto me, let us go to the house of the Lord, the house of your Father. Hallelujah! There is no Father like Jesus. There is no father than our Lord. There's no father than the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. Where we are lost, he brought us back. Where we was far away, he brought us near because of his fatherly love for you and I, to save us, to give us a fulfilled end. Hallelujah! Is somebody happy to be in the presence of your Father?
Hallelujah!
Lift up your hands and wave those hands unto Jesus. Hallelujah! Glory to God! I feel the presence of God in this place. I feel the glory of God in this place. I feel the glory of our Father in this place. Oh, oh, glory to God! Glory to Jesus! I am here to inspire you, to encourage you, to tell you the significance why we celebrate fatherhood. Hallelujah! Because Jesus demonstrated the love of his Father by coming down to the earth to do the Father's will and to fulfill the divine mandate of God for you. Hallelujah! Lift up your hand and say yeah! Yeah, hallelujah! Glory to God, glory to God, hallelujah! I am so happy. You know, today I woke up this morning and said, some people think that fatherhood has to do with gender, but fatherhood is not merely gender identity, but it is a character identity. Hallelujah, somebody! And I'm happy to be in your presence this morning.
Hallelujah! Oh, glory to God! I want to lead— Masukabaha ya, ezakupa ha ya. Glory to God!
I feel glory in this place.
I feel great glory in this place. Hallelujah!
I just want to speak a word that will usher us up before I usher our spiritual father, our daddy, our prophet of the house. Hallelujah! To come and minister unto us. Hallelujah!
The Bible said in John In John chapter 14, we're gonna pray. We're gonna see the reason why Jesus showed us the love. Hallelujah! We're gonna pray. The Bible said in John chapter 6, 14, verse 6. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Glory to God! Jesus said unto him, he said, I am the way, I am the truth, and I am the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me. Hallelujah. Verse 7 said, if you have known me, you have known my Father also. And from henceforth you know me and you have seen me. How many of you have known him? How many of you have seen him? Hallelujah. The moment you embrace Jesus, hallelujah, you embrace the Father because he came in the name of the Father. Hallelujah. And Jesus was saying to Philip, he said, if you have seen me, you have seen the Father. He said, believe it thou not, I am from the Father and the Father in me, for the words that I speak I speak not of myself, but for the Father that dwelleth in me. Even our spiritual fathers, the man of God, the prophet. Hallelujah! Please stand up, we're gonna pray. Hallelujah! This is a very sacred moment. Something is happening in this place. I just want your heart to be open to receive. The moment you receive your man of God, because He did not come in his name. He came in the name of Jesus Christ.
God has blessed him to be the father of his shepherd, of his house. So when we listen to him, we listen to the Father, because the word that he speaks is not the word of his own. He speaks because the Father of all dwelleth in him. Hallelujah! So as you embrace the word, Jesus said the word that I speak is not my word, it's the word of the Father that restored him to me. Today, as we open our heads and pray, Lord, give us the heart to know the Father, to stand by his word, and to live by his word. Because when you embrace the word of Jesus and the word that's coming out of the man of God, we are praying the word of the Father, and Receive the word of the Father and the love of the Father. Come and stand up because we believe in the word. Lift up your hands in prayer and say, Father Lord, in the name of Jesus, I receive the word of your son Jesus. I receive the word of your son Jesus into our heart that we may show y'all express your fatherly love that you have given to the the church, even to the world today. In the name of Jesus, we give you all the praise. We worship you, oh God. As we have seen the Father, as we have embraced Jesus, we have the Father, and the Father lives inside of us. In the name of Jesus, thank you, Holy Spirit of the living God. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen. Hallelujah! Give the Lord a big shout in the house if you can as we welcome our man of God, the prophet of the house, our general overseer, the man who God has sent to us to be a blessing, to be a father to us, to fill us with a word of life, with a spiritual word. It's no other than our father Prophet Hallelujah! Give the Lord a big shout as he comes to the altar.
Lift up your hands, everybody. Thank you. Lift up your hands, everybody. Lift up your hands. Lift up your hands, everybody.
And for the next 1 minute, I want everyone everywhere to be quiet.
I want everyone to be quiet with your hands lifted up. Like what Brother David said, this is a sacred moment. Just lift up your hand, lift up your hand. Father, that every word that will come forth this morning, let the sun, the moon, comet Space, rock, ice, the planets of the Earth will speak. Oh God, even Pluto, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and all the rest of the planets of the Earth will hear the voice of the Lord. I speak, Father. To the continents of the earth, that whosoever hear this word of prophecy this morning might be in Asia, might be in Africa, in North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, Australia— as the word goes forth, let it not be returned or be returned or be reversed back until the agency of God's word has produced. Somebody listening to me, let your amen be the loudest. I declare that the word of blessing that will go forth, that flesh will hear, blood will hear, principalities will hear, powers will hear, rulers of darkness will hear.
Spiritual wickedness in high places were here. I declare in the name of Jesus that these words will not return back until it is accomplished in your life. Your amen should be the loudest. I need you to high-five 3, more than 3 people to confirm this word of prophecy very quickly. Thank you, Father. Now who you were and who you now are different. I need an amen with a loud voice.
Make sure that the seat in front of you is not occupied by the enemy, that you are sitting on your position. Come on, make sure there's no empty seat in front of you. It's prophetic, it's prophetic. I'm not trying to excite you, I'm trying to tell you the protocol of the order of heavens. Make sure there's no seat in front of you.
If you're listening to me by the sound of your voice, by the sound of my voice, Make sure there's nobody.
Now before you sit down, I want you to, I want you to hear me very properly.
Hear me.
There are some things I will say this morning that will change your life forever. I need an amen. Now this is so powerful. The Lord told me to tell you that there is only one legitimate way to be blessed in the Bible. There's only one way. There's only one way to guarantee a blessing in your life. It's not by prayer. I have prayed. You can't pray more than me. Prayer does not guarantee prosperity. If you're listening to me, you can read the Bible from COVID to cover. It does not guarantee your success. It can guarantee your salvation, guarantee your deliverance, but it will not guarantee you prosperity here on earth. There's only one legitimate way, and fatherhood is the only legitimate way for you to receive the blessing. Now hold on. When God blessed Abraham, Abraham did not go to the Gentiles, to the Jews, to the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the skeptics, skeptics.
He went to his son.
The blessing moved from Abraham to Isaac by fatherhood.
And when he wanted to move from Isaac to Jacob, by fatherhood.
And when the blessing of Abraham wanted to come to me, I knew it by fatherhood. If you are standing here, before you sit down, make sure you answer this question that I'm about to ask you this morning before you sit down. If you're sitting here, my question this morning is that you have a father figure in your life? Do you have a father figure in your life? Now hear me. Do you have a father figure in your life?
Somebody who plays a role of a father figure in your life, and somebody who you are part of his or her life in this life?
I did not hear any man, or else there is nothing God has for you. Brother David read it. He said Jesus said, I come in the name of my Father. I have come to do the will of my Father. If you are sitting here, you don't have a father figure in your life, someone who plays the role of a father figure in your life, someone who—
don't say, don't say, don't say, don't say prophet is your father.
When you're not playing any role in my life, you cannot be my— you cannot be my child spiritually. You cannot say Prophet is my father if you don't have a role in my life.
I cannot say I'm your father if I don't have a role in your life. I did not hear any man. So if you are here, you have a spiritual father that you are not participating in his life, or he's not participating in your life, Something is terribly wrong, and I want you to spend the next 6 months to find out how to participate and find a spiritual father, a mother, spiritual person who oversees the government of what God is doing in your life. Can I have an amen? So spend the rest of your life this year finding it.
Now, before you sit down So Prophet, why, why is it important? Because number one, God's blessing is transferred by fatherhood.
Number two, why is it important is because that fatherhood is that— is assigned to support you, to guide you, to prevent you from having so many losses in your life. If I were you, I would take my seat right now as the service begins.
Malachi says, Malachi chapter 4, verse 6.
I want you to go there.
Very— I'm prophesying this morning, very strategic.
Malachi chapter 4, verse 6. He said, it shall come to pass.
Look at Malachi chapter 4, verse 6.
He says, in the last days, God says, and the heart— and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children.
Mark those words. He said he shall turn the hearts of the father to the children, and he says that he shall turn the heart of the children to their father. Can I get a witness here? Hear me very well.
Lest I come—
God says, I come, I will smite the earth with a curse. So when the heart of a father has no sonship, a curse is in motion. Number one, so fatherhood comes from the heart. Sonship comes from the heart. What that means is that You are not authorized to say, I'm having an issue with my father.
Your father can never be wrong.
But why? Because— so powerful— you must differentiate his position physically from spiritual. Your father might be evil, demonic, but God has not given you the responsibility to insult him and to abuse him and to dethrone him. So you must separate the responsibility, ah, from the character.
There are people that have terrible fathers, but that does not change the fact that he was the one God chose to bring you forth, that he carries the government of the blessing of God to bring you forth. Your responsibility is not to point to your father but to pray for your father, because when you pray for your father, the blessing of your father is automatically poured upon you. Can I have an amen? So fatherhood comes from the heart. Let me go deeper. So it's important that when you are fatherless, there's a curse, because the government of God works by fatherhood.
Jesus sent his son. The son did not just come, and when the son came, he didn't say, I've come to do my own will.
Fatherhood— when there is nobody who is assigned to your battles, assigned to your blessings, assigned to your problems assigned to your provision, assigned to your prosperity, there is a curse. The word curse means a struggle.
Fatherhood is the reason why you have not grown the level you should grow. I'm going to touch on some things this morning. God says he wants to restore fatherhood on the earth. That's Malachi's prophecy. Hear me, and fatherhood is what God is restoring. Now let me tell you what happened.
So when, when, when Malachi prophesied for 400 years.
From Malachi 4 to Matthew chapter 1 was 400 years of one word. So 400—
so the last prophecy is, I want to restore fatherhood. Now, after Malachi prophesied, God did not speak for 400 years.
I have a question. Why did God not speak for 400 years? Before you answer that question, listen to me.
And even when God begins to speak in Matthew chapter 1, he begins with the fatherhood of Jesus. He begins the fatherhood. He ends Malachi talking about father. He begins Matthew with the father, with the genealogy of Jesus. Fatherhood is so important. Why does God— why did God not speak? Because when you talk about fatherhood You are dealing with 4, 3 things. Number 1, fatherhood is what makes things grow. So even if nobody is here, when God spoke that word, the earth was already growing because fatherhood is productivity. Number 2, when God spoke that word, he wanted people to remember because sometimes people want God to speak after they, they have not obeyed his last instruction. God does not add a prophecy until the last one is fulfilled.
And go deeper. Number 3, when God speaks and talks about fatherhood for 400 years, he wanted the atmosphere to be marinated.
You see, every time you see a father—
it does not mean a woman or a boy or girl—
takes charge, things begin to grow in divine order.
Me go deeper. So it's important, very important.
That I used to think— how many of you— many. I, I used to think growing up that everything my father did was wrong until I became a father.
I can't hear you.
Some of you thought your father is crazy until you had children who are like you. Now you understood your father wasn't crazy.
Might have been you that was crazy down the road. Am I talking to somebody?
Now, I used to say this is important.
So fatherhood is deep. Hear me, let me ask you a question this morning as you meditate.
Who is your father? Now, God created man.
Can I have an amen? Created woman. But this is so powerful.
That how did God create man? The breath of the Almighty God formed man, and man became the likeness and the image of God. But that did not make man a father, because some women think that every man is the father. No, some men just stop in likeness. They look like they are handsome, they have images of success, but they can never father the children that you want to have with them.
I did not hear an amen.
Some men just stop right there. All they know is like good things, look good, good muscles, good power, but they don't have the capacity to be a father. Be very careful, women, that you are not entangled with a man who is— who likes you, likes your clothes, likes your shoe, but they come short because they're not fathers. They are selfish people.
Am I talking to somebody?
A man is not a father because a man is created as a likeness and image of God. That's where it stops. Number 2, how do you become— so when the man, when the man, when the man, when the man grows up, he became a husband.
Be very careful, not every husband is a father.
There are classifications of men. Some are just men. Some grow up to be husbands. As soon as responsibility comes, they run away. They're just husbands. Don't make them fathers.
Look at somebody say, I know what he's saying. I, I know those kind of people.
They love you until bills come. They call you, I love you, you're my husband, until you begin to hear, can we share the bill? Can you pay the bill today? I pay tomorrow. They are only husbands. They're only good there for good times. They are not fathers. There's a father. So that's what the Bible says, very powerful. This is what we miss it. And God says, listen, this is powerful. So before you ever allow any man to communicate with you, find out if he's a father. Find out if he's a father, because some men only stop as men.
They don't care about your sister, your brother, your family members.
They don't care about anybody. They don't even care. See, the most terrible man to marry is a man who don't care for his father or his mother or his sister. He'll do the same to you. He's not a father. A man who takes care of his family, when you meet him, he will tell you, have you met my sister? Have you met my auntie? Have you met my this person? Then you know he's a father. But a selfish man who is not a father—
and let me tell you, you can never make a man father until the man comes to Christ. I'm gonna go deeper.
So how does a man become a father? He says— God says, Brother David, he says, let the man leave his father and his mother.
I can't hear you, huh?
I can't hear you, huh? So the Bible says— God says man should commit to a woman through the covenant of marriage. Why? See, I used to think— hear me, everybody— I used to think that marriage is for relationship.
That's a lie.
He says the man should leave his father and his mother and become one. So when God created man— hear me, everybody— God said man was a gender.
Let me, let me throw that one away. God said you will become man, you become one, and became one, right? Now hold on. So, but when God said the man and the woman should leave each other, something happens there. God says, now there's a covenant between you and this woman. You shall leave your your father and your mother. Here, here, here, here. And you shall become one. I cannot hear him. Oh, let me tell you, there is no man on earth, or a man, a woman on earth, that can become one with another person. I don't know how long you've been married.
Ask people who've been married 60 years. At 60 years of marriage, they are still different people.
Some like cold. Turn off the AC. Can you turn off the AC? Sister, it's cold. It's hot. Turn off the AC, I'm freezing.
But what been wrong? No! Nobody changes this DNA of man only but God.' He says that 'the two shall become one'. What God saying—
you must leave your selfishness; she leaves her selfishness then come under covenant to go on together as ones—that still does not make you father—you can be married if they ask who took care baby last week my wife...my wife...my wife...my wife...My Wife My Life ...MY WIFE MY LIFE Your daughter is crying, your son is crying, can you check on him? Can you check her? I'm busy at work.
No, brother, you are not busy.
You are sitting with your friends drinking coffee and you want the wife to work the whole job in the house. That is marriage, but that's not fatherhood. Don't depress it, don't depreciate.
Hallelujah! You can be under a godly covenant, but you're still not in fatherhood.
Let's go deeper.
He said you shall leave your father and your mother you shall become one. So God is saying, huh, the first thing that God created you as man and woman, and he says, okay, man and woman should come together as one.
And when they come together as one, that does not make you a father. It only makes you a covenant person. This is a covenant person.
You're not yet a father.
Fatherhood is deeper. Let me tell you, let me tell you, this is so powerful. I used to think— powerful— I used to think, how do you become a father? Father is a whole different dimension. Whole different dimension. Father is not gender restricted. I've seen great aunties, great uncles who are fathers, great sisters who are great fathers. Father is a representation. I hear me, this is the bottom, what I'm trying to say in this whole service. Now hear me, this is powerful. A man and a woman before marriage, Bible says you should leave your father and your mother. Why? So you can become one with God. I can't hear you. Become one with God. Now hear me, I used to think— oh, this is powerful— in marriage, a man and woman is covenanted. They move from biological to spiritual fatherhood. So you tell your father to back off from your marriage, that he's no longer authority over your marriage, because your marriage now has moved from flesh and blood to spiritual. Now God is the covenant, that you both walk in accordance to what God wants, not what your father says. All your mother does was to cook burritos But now God is saying she doesn't like what she's cooking. So ask God what is required in the covenant of marriage for marriage to be effective.
Don't carry what you brought in from your mother, hallelujah, into your marriage because it will destroy what God wants to do in that marriage.
Let's go deeper. He said your father and your mother— listen to me, my fatherhood is not gender. Let me go deeper. It's not marriage, hallelujah. It's not blood. Somebody say, he's my blood.
There's no blood.
Once you get saved, there's no blood.
The only blood is the blood of Jesus.
I'm going deeper.
What is the purpose of marriage?
So now you're married, you're a man, now you're married.
What's the purpose of marriage?
What's the purpose of marriage? What's the purpose? Because it's in the purpose of marriage that fatherhood is born. So let's know what is the purpose of marriage. What did God's intention to be in marriage? I know what you're about to tell me. I know what you're about to tell me. The purpose of marriage is not for physical satisfaction. Reproduction. Now you have 5 children, you don't even know where they are in the US. They're not calling for 10 years. You thought it was to get married. Now you're, you're over 60, single, they're all gone. Oh, I should have had a late baby. No, you don't know the purpose of marriage. The purpose of marriage is not for sexual satisfaction or reproduction.
The purpose of marriage, listen, is to fulfill the promise of Abraham.
So God says, I want you to meet him so that I can fulfill the promise I made to Abraham.
So through you, the blessing of God can come forth. Through you, I can raise fathers as Abraham. God called Abraham Father Abraham. Why? Because Abraham stood for his family to see this. Oh, let me slow down.
The expression of God in your marriage— if God is not expressing himself, the promise of Abraham, that marriage is no fatherhood. Let me take it again. The purpose of marriage is for God to fulfill the promise of Abraham. He said, you know what he said to Abraham? I'll make your name great. I can't hear you. How many of you want to give birth to great children? I can't hear you.
How many of you give birth to great children?
You force your children— some of you force your children to play basketball when they were young until they dropped out. They couldn't play basketball. You thought by playing basketball, taking them, driving them every day, they'll become world players. No. The blessing of God is through your marriage that God blessed. God's promise to Abraham is fulfilled. So God said to Abraham, we'll go there. So if your marriage, your family does not express the promise of God, there is no fatherhood because the The fatherhood is— hallelujah— very powerful. The fatherhood is generational. The fatherhood is generational, from Abraham to Isaac, Isaac to Jacob, Jacob to me and you. So if God's power is not expressed in your family, there will never be fatherhood in that family. Let's go deeper.
Marriage is to create fatherhood.
So we got it now. So let's look at your life. Let's zero your life. Are you a father? So far, fatherhood is not gender. How many people has God brought your way for you to be their father? How many people do you call every day whose future is dependent on you? How many people are you fathering? How many people whose destiny are connected to what God is doing? How many people call you in the morning to pray with them because they feel, they feel feel down, they feel disturbed. How many people are you holding for God in the earth? Why is everybody quiet? Show me your fatherhood. Jesus started his ministry, Mark chapter 1, showing his fatherhood. Let me see your fatherhood traits, characteristic, genealogy. How many, how many snipers in the spirit do we have in your family? How many multi-millionaires came through you? How many intercessors are in your bloodline family? Am I talking to somebody? Everybody's quiet now.
How many investors do do we have in your family? How many inventors do we have in your family? How many people depend on your salary to see that they push their dreams forward? Hallelujah! That is fatherhood. Fatherhood has nothing to do with how many children you have, who's a boy, who's a girl, what we need to do. Fatherhood is what God has entrusted to you, people that God has entrusted to you so that they can meet the plan that God has for them on earth and the purpose of God is fulfilled on earth.
I can't hear you. How many people in your bloodline are your sons? Hallelujah! Everybody's quiet. How many lineages do you have? If I check your phone, do you have people who depend on you to encourage them to win the battles in their life? I did not hear an amen. How many people did you beg for and told them, I was just passing through, I I baked for you because I knew you couldn't cook the week. How many daughters do you have in the spirit that you would teach them the things God taught you? How many fathers do we have in the house? How many people live for the purpose to express the purpose of God on earth? What are you doing on earth? Are you a father? I don't like when the service is this quiet. How many fathers do we have? People who say, we stand no matter what, I'm with you. If you don't have people you are fathering, mentoring, you don't belong to what God is doing. You wasted your life. I might be— I'm telling you, because for God to do anything, he needs a man to teach another man what he has taught the man. No, I didn't hear you. Did you hear what I just said?
There's some things you— some battles you had to go through as a father so your children will not go through it.
Am I right?
There's some things you tell your children, I told, I told, I told you, I told you, I've done that before.
So, so you're rich, you're rich warfare. The things you went through was to teach the younger ones what not to go through, so that when they succeed in your lineage, is somebody who used what God gave you to succeed. Did I say that well? So, but God is saying this morning, he's looking for father. Oh, let me go deeper. So that means if you are here this morning and there's no fatherhood in your mind, you are in the 400 years of struggle, of quietness. God is not speaking him. You must have somebody who you are a father to. You must have somebody who you are encouraging. It might just be a word. Sister, I prayed for you today. Sister, you can make it. Sister, you can get going. It's okay, I see you succeed. You become their fatherhood. They become your— they become, hallelujah, part of your prophetic loins. Am I talking to somebody?
Then God will bless you, because the blessing of God does has not come to anybody but family. He says when they get to the land of Canaan, divide it according to the tribe.
He didn't say give Moses this, give the—
no, it's by tribe. The blessing is by tribe. The blessing is by tribe. The blessing is by family. If there's nobody in your family but you, ah, yeah, something is wrong. In 2023, the hour has come to live beyond yourself, beyond your mind, beyond your money.
God is saying, raise me daughters and raise me sons who shall go forth to the ends of So when you wake up in the morning, somebody should be saying, God, I thank you that, that Stephanie woke up, because Stephanie is my battle ask. When she calls me, I feel fired up. If nobody's thanking God for your waking up every morning, you better go back to sleep and pray and say, God, I need help. Am I talking to somebody? Let me end with this.
Say, we're talking about fatherhood.
Fatherhood. Fatherhood. Fatherhood means that God is using you to do what he cannot do. I can't hear you. Let me ask a question. So what can God not do that you've done this week? Other than your bills, your shoes, your kippis, your these?
It's so difficult to get you away Why are you awake?
You're sleeping. You can't be a father because fatherhood will get woken up anytime. When the baby cries, we're awake. You don't say, baby, sleep, this is time to sleep. You wake up, right?
Hallelujah! Let's go deeper. So fatherhood has a purpose.
Now let me tell you about this young— this bishop. I shared the story a long time ago. The bishop, he was the bishop of the city, had about 5,000 membership, powerful church, music powerful. Powerful instrument, and he died. Before he died, an old lady died. So when the old lady was— when they got to heaven and the old lady was standing before the bishop, the bishop was wondering, Michael, Peter, I'm here, I'm here. Then Peter was telling him, calm down, calm down, there's somebody before you, somebody before you. No, no, you don't understand. I'm the bishop of my city. My revivals, miracles happen, things happen. Say calm down. And the woman was so slow when they were calling her name, it would take her time to answer. Then the bishop moved forward and said to the old lady, man, can you be quick? This is Bishop Bango here. So after some time The angel came back with a file and said to the old woman, that mansion up there is prepared for you. Bishop Bongo told the angel, if that woman's mansion is there, I should get half of heaven, because if you see the evangelism we did, the souls we won. So it was time. According to Bishop Bongo, thank you for your work on earth. Thank you for the good things you did. We saw the services, but your crown is only a small one mattress room right there. And the bishop got angry, said, something wrong here. I'm Bishop Bongo. Says, we know that woman who you— that was before you, she was the one praying every day for her city to be saved. She was the one every day making sure that nobody's hungry. She was a woman every day praying for people. So most of your members came through Ah, she was the one sending them to the church.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, I'm Bishop Bongo.
See, calm down, brother. That lady that doesn't look normal is the father of the city. It's through her many of them stopped drugs. No, you only got the, got the part after they came out of drug and they came to your church. That's the only part you got. You didn't get the part where they were struggling, and she would call and say, can I come pray for you? And she was there interceding. That she is the spiritual father of that city, the The bishop looked at himself and said, God, can I have a second chance? God said, we gave you second, gave you third, gave you fourth. All you did was to build a big church. So now come rest in heaven. I pray for you, somebody here who is always living their life not understanding that God has assigned somebody to be their sons and their daughters, to make sure that they live the rest of their life to bring the purpose of Abraham onto the lives.
Oh, let me tell you deeper.
How many of you remember the story, hallelujah, of the prodigal son? Prodigal son, prodigal son. Remember He had everything. Bible say he left everything, he left everything and lost everything, even though he got everything at the beginning, until he went back to the Father. Oh, let me tell you, oh, let me tell you, please don't stone me. You will never see prosperity until you become, you become a father. You will never see prosperity until somebody's life is dependent on you. You will never see true prosperity until God knows that you are doing something out of the box.
To make sure. And how many, how many of you have— how many mothers here, when they talk, they complain, I'm just tired of you, son, I'm tired of you, I'm done, done, done, done.
And at the end of the day, God says, yes, I had that to make that child be your child because I knew you were capable to father that child.
Not every woman can—
not every woman can be the mother of a crazy son. It takes a crazy woman to handle a crazy son. Am I talking to somebody?
When the song— when that song gets crazy, you— if you—
if you—
that boy comes down because God knows that you were born to take care of that child. And there's no way— if the boy tries to do anything, or the dirty girl— I, I will, I, I will, I, I will— that I will will just shut them down. Why? Because you were born to be the father of that child. There are situations in your life that God— let me tell I tell you, some of you here, you should have— you're— some of you here should have been messed up.
But the problem is that the children God gave you are messed up.
So that's why God is still keeping you sane, sane, so that you don't get messed up with the things that God wants you to fix. Hallelujah! God is saying, I've called you to be the father of that situation, the mother of that situation. Quit crying, quit complaining. Look at the situation. See, the problem is that some of you want to be the solution, but you're carrying the problem from somebody Who you are speaking to.
I don't know what's going to happen to my children. Girl, leave that problem in with that child. You have to be right to be able to fix a problem, wrong problem. But when you become wrong like your child, then you're no longer a father. God is saying that in the last days he wants a father, a fatherhood. Somebody here, look at me, hear me, hear me, hear me, hear me. Remember I told you at the beginning that the blessings of God is through fatherhood. I'll end with this.
Wow.
But you say, but my marriage failed. Thank God your marriage failed. I did not hear somebody say thank God my marriage failed. Now I'm free to do what God has called me to do. Come on, I did not hear any man Some of you try to keep it so hard. Let me keep it, let me keep this man, let me keep this situation, until actually the situation left you.
Now you're thinking, oh God, no. God said, I have to let the situation go so I can train and equip you. So you tell the young ladies, don't marry that man who is blowing you kisses from somewhere else. He's alive from the pit of hell. He's a selfish man. You can look at a man and tell the man yes, no.
God says this morning the blessing of God is coming upon you. I cannot hear an amen. And this is the promise.
This is the reason what God says I should tell you this morning.
Listen, he says the Lord said to Abraham— oh, let me talk to women here. Don't ever think you can make a man man. That's right. So don't ever think you can make a man father. You can make a man man, buy him good clothes. Change his, his scrappy looking shirts. Can I have an amen? Make him dress decent, but you might never change what's inside his— am I talking? So what you should go for is the mind, is the mind, how he handles situation.
Is he a father?
Does he care? Does he care? Does he listen? Is he able to know The solution. Hallelujah! Bible says in, Bible says in Genesis chapter 12, look at this, to Abraham. And the Lord said to Abraham, go, go from your country, see that, from your people, from your fatherhood, to the land I will show you. Look at this, verse 2, Genesis 1:7, Genesis 12:1, he says, I will make you a great nation. Sir, Pastor Vivian, he didn't say I will make you a great person. I did not hear you. I did not hear you. I did not hear you. Say that again. I did not hear you. So how does somebody go from one brother from Louisiana, somewhere in the southwest of Houston, to become a nation? Now think about this woman of God. God says, carry your family and everybody, and I will make you— listen, listen. Into a great nation. I cannot hear you. How many of you have seen Abraham? Many of you are physically— how many of you have physically gone to his house downtown? Abraham, how many of you have gone there? But you are in his family. So you are in his family. But you are in his family. That's what happened, that even years after we leave, people are blessed because of us. He says, I will bless you He said, I'll make your name great and you'll be a blessing. That is what fatherhood is. Fatherhood is somebody that stops being greedy. Look at someone, say, you better stop living for you, for yourself. I cannot hear you. You better stop living for yourself. It takes you 10 years to answer a text message and you're doing nothing. Hello? Am I talking to somebody? Brother David will post a text message, who is here? You saw it, we know you saw it, angels know you saw it, God know you saw it, but you skip it. How can God make you a great nation? I cannot hear an amen. They say let's do things. A couple of weeks ago, my friend was telling me He was telling me, oh, this place is so dusty, the wind is blowing, this is happening, maybe something's going to come and blow off everything here. I said, brother, stop talking to me. All you say is negative things that's about to happen, and I'm done being your friend. Hallelujah! I'm done being your friend because—
hallelujah! Are you listening to me? Because, oh, every time we gather, you bring out the problem in everything. In life, there's problem. Your hair has a problem. Look at your hair. You Your skin has a problem. The makeup you did this morning that was perfect, as you were coming, something happened and the makeup went his own way. Everything in life goes the negative, but God is saying the heart of a father does not look at the negative but looks at the positive. Hallelujah! Some of you here, you know your children gets angry easily. You talk to them until they're angry, then you'll I'm your father.
God is saying this morning, fatherhood is looking at somebody and knowing what God wants done in their life, and you become their coach. Come and say coach, not roach. You become their helper, their leader. And I'm telling you, and God begins to bless you. The blessing of God comes when you genuinely become somebody's father, somebody's helper, somebody's destiny. Oh, let me tell you, hallelujah, let me tell you, look at everybody, let me tell you how I know, I know that some of you, we're going to pray for you right now because on your birthday nobody gave you a card. That's a sign that it. You are living for yourself. Can I talk a bit? Because the last people's birthday, you never give anybody anything, and you've done that for like 4 years, and you are so afraid to share your birthday even though you want something, but you can't say it because you don't give people's birthday. Can I talk? Her name Can we talk? That's not what God wants. God wants people that knows— then you know, Sister G, that's your birthday next week, right? I have something for you. And even you go buy them a nickel, anything, it shows God that you're a father. You see, people don't remember what you do when you do them good. They remember when you do them bad. But you know the good news? Make sure there's no bad bad coming out of you so that people don't remember there's bad in you.
Can I go back again? Hallelujah! So a father— hallelujah! Because children, you know, children, some of you remember the bad things your father did to you, right? Hello? He spoke to me rude.
If I ask you for the good things, you don't remember. So God is saying a father is the one that is better. I pray for you this morning. Now look at me, look at me, everybody. If you leave this service And don't have on your phone 5 people who you are going to be their, their spiritual father. Don't call them and say, what happened? What happened? Tell me, tell me, tell me. I'm a spiritual father. No, they don't need to tell you anything. You are committed to praying for them. I cannot hear any man. You are committed to taking them out. Hallelujah! Yeah, and let me tell you something, God will begin to bless you in numerous ways.
And blessing will fall upon you. If you see a broke person is a person that is selfish.
This morning, lift up your hand and I want you to stand up. Walk up to someone and tell them, if you have nobody in your life whose future is dependent on you, that's a problem you need to fix. Come on, walk up to somebody, tell them, come on, come on, come on.
If you don't have anybody 5 people in your life who— come on, come on, talk to somebody. That's the word. Talk to somebody. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Listen, let's look at me. Look at me. Some of you, some people here, some people here, look at me.
Some people here, look at me. Some people here, when I say do it, some of you just do like this. No, that's pretense. That is so demonic. Walk up to them and tell them, do you have 5 people in your life who is depending on you. You care for them, you send money to them, you love them.
Come on, tell her you commit to their lifting, you commit to buying for them, you are their spiritual resource, you are their spiritual father. God will begin to open door. Talk to somebody and say, God, do you have a father? Do you have somebody depending on you? Do you have somebody depending on you? I sense financial open doors. I sense miraculous open doors. I sense breakthroughs. I sense breakthroughs. Look at me, look at me. Let's go deeper, let's go deeper, let's go deeper. How many of you went to the store this week?
If you went to the store, lift up your hand. This week, leave that hands lifted up.
Wave your hands to the King of Kings.
Can you come here? Come here. Look at everybody. If you go to the store and take the shopping trolley and buy only your food and no food for any other person in the house, what happens? There's problem at home. There's problem at home. So every time you go to store from now, think about Tammy. I cannot hear you. Are you listening?
Am I talking to somebody? Right, do you— I mean, I feel what I'm saying.
Think about Tammy. Find out what kind of coffee she likes.
Hello? No, I'm not going to stop.
I'm not going to stop until you answer me. I'm not gonna stop.
How many of you, how many of you went to buy fresh milk, bread, whatever? When you buy that bread, I don't need milk, get some water, buy some crates of water. I don't bring it to church. I'm not the church. Tommy is not the church. Say, Tommy, open the trunk of your car. I bought you 2 cases of water. I bought you 2 cases of water. Drive your car here. That is love. That is fatherhood. Stop buying—
hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Some of you want me to stop. I'm not going to stop.
How many of you got paid the last month?
How many of you got paid last month? Ask God to remind you. If you don't have money, make—
when you are paid, make a room for extra $10. Don't bring used, don't bring abused, don't bring from the shelf, don't bring from the counter. Be responsible. So somebody's lifting— there were days— look at me— there are days— somebody here— there are days you don't even have milk in your house.
Am I talking to somebody? Stop telling us I'm a mother. No, God is looking for fathers. So how many of you cook this week?
How many of you can bake? How many people can bake? Well, bake, bake. How many of you can bake? If you cannot bake, lift up your hands. If you, if you are trying to bake, lift up your hand quickly. Go and learn how to bake. Go and learn how to bake and bake donuts. Make cake. Come on, talking to somebody. Make cake and bring it. Don't bring it to church. We are not church. We are not church. Don't put it there. Call Mariah. Say, Mariah, I made this special cake with love. You can't— don't give her in the church. Drive her to her car. Be intentional. Am I talking to somebody here? And tell her, girl, I'm praying for you. I see what God will do. That is fatherhood. That is fatherhood. Hello, hello, there are women here. You should take some of the boys, young boys, to basketball games. Am I talking to somebody? Come on, say go, do something other than your grandchildren, other than your children. Do something. There are girls that are here. Let me ask you a question.
Hold on, brother.
The ladies there, the young ladies there, some of you don't even greet them when you're after church.
You carry the Bible you've been carrying since you're 5, come in and go out. You don't look at them and say, what's your size? You go tell the mother, Mom, where can I buy something for them? And she says, go to Gucci store.
If you can't buy from Gucci, tell her I can't do Gucci, but I can do Walmart. Am I talking to somebody? Hallelujah! That's what fatherhood is.
I have a question for you.
If you are here this morning morning, you have a spiritual father. Once his birthday finishes, that month, start saving for the next birthday.
Don't come here and give whatever. Some of you, whatever. When they open it, I feel like returning this. Can you come take it? No. Show love. Prepare for it. You know why? What you make happen for your fathers, God will make happen for you. Honor people. Pastor Tina has been here.
Can I ask you a question? Real, real question. Have you wondered how she goes home every Sunday? No.
We drive in our car, put on some AC.
Ask her, I'm committed on the second week to make sure you get home.
That is love.
Am I talking to somebody right? I commit to drive you home.
If she says no, tell her, ma, that's my job.
Let's begin this, Fatherhood. Lift up your hands. How many of you hear God this morning?
How many of you hear God this morning? How many of you hear God this morning? I can't hear. How many of you hear God this morning? There are spiritual sons of mine, spiritual sons of mine, they've been with me more than 7 years. They start celebrating my birthday even months ahead. It's not what they give, it's to show love.
It's Prophet's birthday this week or next week? I think it's the third week.
I think it's the fourth week. I don't know, it's the sixth week.
No, what to make happen— what I— oh, let me say this. What, what I made at the time my father was dying— we never stay in a room together. I would— oh, everything he says, I say is a no. Even if I know it's yes, I say it's no. But one day I realized When he was so sick and he needed money, and I refused to give him money because if I give him money, he'll give it to his wife. And I heard the voice of God say, what's your business? What's your business? And I gave him and he blessed me. And I was always— I told Pastor Bian 2 days ago, every time I call my father, there's only one thing they say. He said, be be a father to your wife and to your children. Many times I say to myself, is it because you were a terrible father? Are you listening to me? But what— where my father failed, I don't want to fail. Are you understanding what I'm saying? That makes me a better father. I pray for everybody here this morning that this fatherhood—
you will have somebody in your life, that God will bless you because of them. God will prosper you because of them. God will open doors you never had. I saw doors open. I saw doors open. God says, I'm looking for fathers to the motherless. I'm looking for father to the widows. I'm looking for people that will care for the widows. Send them money, bless them, and let us go forth as agents of God in the last day. Someone shout 7 hallelujahs!
