Hesed Ojieh tells young mothers to listen for God's voice before they even know what to ask. He suggests journaling and dwelling in God's presence amid daily chaos, using the image of Jesus calming the storm to show how spiritual steadiness opens divine communication.

I go to God to speak to me, because when He speaks to me, He answers the questions I don't even have. I don't even know. So it's important that— so I can be here watching the program with you. As a matter of fact, that's why I don't go to movies, because I want to go, but when I get out, sleep. I'm going to sleep because, because God is speaking to me something else again. I'm not pertaining to movie. So I see the lens of the Spirit for me I might be looking at this, but I'm gone. So I'm always journaling. So as a young mother, this is your best moment because God is teaching you how to be a general in the spirit, how to be hurricane in the spirit, how to have power in the midst of everything. Your children can be shouting, your spirit is praying. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! So you have to start learning the dwelling. Dwelling means stay right there. You're looking at your children, but you're not there because God is cooking, is fermenting inside of you. They will be so— you just shout, "Wow!" Then He will speak to you. Then I like to write. But you will never be powerful without this. You'll never be powerful. One time Jesus was in the boat, the boat was rocking, remember?
