How to Become a Prophet Used by God | The 1 Key to Prophetic Ministry #PropheticSchool #ProphetHesed

Hesed Ojieh teaches that prophetic ministry requires a mentor, not just personal ability. He calls this the "prophetic pattern": learning under a parent-prophet through mentoring, impartation, and correction, using examples like Moses-Joshua and Elijah-Elisha. The key distinction is being a "son in the house" learning under a mentor versus a "son of the house" sent out to fulfill the assignment.

The prophetic ministry is one of the most misunderstood ministries. The prophetic ministry, misrepresentated ministry. The prophetic ministry, if you are called to the prophetic, if you're called to be a horn, because the prophetic ministry is a horn ministry. Because in the scriptures, the horn represents the voice of God. But the prophetic ministry is one of the most misunderstood ministries today, misrepresented, because even the very prophets don't understand how the prophetic ministry works. How it works. The first thing that every true prophet, intending prophet, young prophet, everybody called to the school of prophets to become a prophet, to become a prophetic voice, or to be part of a prophetic company, or to be part of a prophetic church, you see, the dimension of the prophetic, because the prophet and the office of a prophet are two different things. Actually, the The office of a prophet, the ministry of a prophet, and the prophet are totally different. So it's the prophet, the ministry of a prophet, and the office of a prophet. But I don't want to go into that. Why is the prophetic ministry— why is the prophetic ministry so controversial? Because the very call of the prophet is not understood. But I'm going to break it down. If you're called to be a prophet or you're part of the Apostolic School of Prophets, I want you to hear me. The first thing you must understand about the prophetic ministry is what is called prophetic pattern. The prophetic pattern of the prophetic ministry. The prophetic pattern of the prophetic ministry is the parenting of the prophetic. Is the maturing, is the parenting, is the equipping, maturing, teaching, covering, correcting, developing the man, the ministry, the person, the prophetic person is important. Without this core structure, which is prophetic parenting, you'll never have a prophetic ministry. There will not be longevity. See, that's why you see prophets coming and they go out, come in and they go out, because the very core that guides the foundation of the prophetic is not understood. This is very important. The first class, first thing you need to learn as a prophet, as a young prophet, as someone who's called into the prophetic, is the pattern Pattern means the structure. How does God operate the ministry of the prophet? Because in the ministry of the prophet is the man, the woman, the prophetess. There is a pattern scripturally that guides the flow, that guides the development, that guides the correction, that guides the finishing of that which God wants to do. Because sometimes we tend to think the prophetic is about the prophet. No, the prophetic is the testimony of Jesus, the establishment, the purpose of what God wants to do, how he wants to do, when he wants to do that, with who he wants to do it. The prophetic ministry, you must understand the pattern of the prophetic ministry. The pattern, the patterns. The prophetic ministry is not about prophesying. That's So, so little. So let's talk about prophetic patterns, which is the first thing you must learn as a prophet is the prophetic pattern. Pattern. I want you to write that down. Pattern. The design of the prophetic. The design of the prophetic. That's why a prophetic school is very necessary because you need to be taught the structure. You can't just wake up and say, I'm a doctor. You can't just wake up and say I'm a nurse. You can't just wake up and say anything. There is a system, a structure in place for the establishment, for the establishment of your call. So we're talking about the school of the prophetic. The prophetic is parenting. Let's go through the scriptures. So God comes to Joseph after Moses is dead. And we're looking at Moses as the pattern of the prophetic, because the Bible says he was one of the greatest prophets in the scriptures. I won't go in depth in it, but I just want to touch it. So Moses becomes the pattern of the development of the prophetic. So he works with God and he's no more. And as a prophet, he had worked with Joshua for 40 years. The parenting, the prophetic parenting of Joshua was 40 years. He didn't just wake up and run to become a prophet. He didn't just wake up and run. I really believe that one of the greatest ministry that the enemy hates most is the prophetic. So he's with Joshua for 40 years. You can never have credibility of the prophetic without prophetic parenting. He had worked with Moses for 40 years, and God comes to him and said, Joshua, now my servant Moses is dead. As I was with Moses, I will be with you. So the lineage of the prophetic assignment, because the call of God's intent is not about the prophet or about prophesying, but about the continuity, the transfer of an assignment that needs to be done through the mantle of the prophet, through the prophetic ministry. So the prophetic ministry is not about the person, it's about the transference of the mantle, the execution, the jurisdiction, the thing that God wants done is transferred from Moses to Joshua. Now to be able to have true prophetic ministry, called prophetic ministry, you have to have worked with a parent prophet, somebody who transfers not just the ability. That's what we all get. We all want the ability of the prophetic. No, it's not just a transfer of the ability, but they are transferred the assignment, the execution of what God needs to be done. So have that thing very in your mind, that the call of the prophetic is— the call of the prophetic is the prophetic pattern, which is the correcting or the development of the prophet, of the young prophet, of the prophet. So God He's more interested in the completion of his assignment that Moses did not complete. We have good news here. There will be no prophet that will complete an assignment because God's assignment is geographical and also it changes, it develops until the coming of Christ. So you do your path. So Moses had mentored Joshua for 40 years on all the aspects of the prophetic. You can never be a prophet without prophetic tutoring, parenting, not just tutoring, parenting, where you have to be under somebody who allows your expression to be validated that the grace and the mantle of the assignment Prophecy parenting. It's the alignment. Parenting is the alignment to make sure that that which is in the core prophet of the father, of the mother, is transferred not just biological but spiritual. So you tap into the essence of that which God has put within the main leader, main parent prophet. So you know, it becomes an addition to what God has given you. So without you serving the prophet, serving in the prophetic, you can never have a true prophetic ministry. You can, but it will never last because longevity will not be there. So if you really want to be a true prophet, you need a prophetic parent, is somebody that needs to mentor you. It's not about mentoring, it's about impartation, it's about a lifestyle, it's about systems and structures. Let's break it down, let's go deeper. So we leave Moses and Joshua, see Elijah and Elisha. The prophet Elijah says to Elisha, follow me. A lot of times I find young prophets wanting to impress that older prophet by prophesying. No, the prophetic parenting is in following, is in fellowshipping. See, the fellowship imbues the follow— the following imbues the fellowship, and fellowship imbues the flow. Say, follow me. Serve until that which is in the parent prophetic company becomes known to you, becomes impacted to you. You can have the anointing and be called to be a prophet, but you're not following. I want to touch that. So you see that Elijah, Elijah, Elisha— you will see that in the ministry of Jesus. He said, Jesus said, that which you see me do is what I see my Father do. You see that? But I'm only an extension, an expression of the call of the assignment. So the prophet is useless without the core assignment. It is the assignment that gives the prophet the authenticity, the jurisdiction to operate. It's not about what you say, it's not about who you speak, it's not about the accuracy of your prophecy. All of that is good, but are you Are you able to trust to receive that which is a prophetic inheritance in the prophetic ministry? So see that Jesus says, my restriction and my performance is in my fellowship and my following of the Father. The prophetic— this is the most powerful thing you must learn about the prophetic, prophetic company. You must be part of a system that is unbroken. It's unbroken. It cannot be broken. There is no development. You can never be greater than your father. There can be switch, a change in fatherhood, but before it occurs, the father, the parent, must see that you've come of maturity, or else you will not last. There will be no longevity because the demons that are assigned to the prophetic are brutal, brutal. The Jezebels and the Delilahs and the Ahabs that are assigned to the prophetic are brutal. So you need to know how to protect your jurisdiction and to protect that which God has given you as an assignment. So we also see that in the life of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God keeps telling them, as I was with your father, I am with you. So for prophetic fatherhood, parenthood is the core. It's the core. You have to have a covering that you serve, not slave, but serve. Because in serving in-house, your mantle is refined. It's is tailored. So there are two kinds of sonships: son in the house and son of the house. You know, the prodigal son, one was son of the house and one was son in the house. The prodigal son was the son of the house, but he was not son in the house. So I think, I believe that the prophetic ministry needs a son in the house. Before he matures to become a son of the house. Son of the house means he's been sent forth, he's gone forth to fulfill that which God wants him to do in, in relationship to fulfilling— he's a part of the pie, is a part of the assignment that God has given the core structure. He might be the hand, might be the leg. So let me touch this a bit and I will go deeper. Into. So you have to look for somebody that God has called you to, that you have to serve. And that serving is timeless. There's no time. Doesn't matter if you leave in 10 years, in 20 years, in 5 years. Doesn't matter. You're in— a son in the house. Now you're son of the house. You can go forth to become a parent to other prophets, a leader, a core structure, but your lineage is still locked. You're honoring your lineage even though You are son of the house. So what does it mean by prophetic parenting as a pattern? Let me break it down for you. Let me share this with you. Your assignment is to express the gift that God has given to you in the local place that God has put you. So that the grace in the house can protect the disgrace outside of the house. What is following? What is following? How does a young prophet follow an old prophet or a parent prophet? You must remember that following means you are in the atmosphere of your parent prophet. You're in the atmosphere. You're in the atmosphere. One time I was struggling with finances and I listened to Mike Murdock's, um, CD. That was like 2 years ago. I saw one of his old CDs. I played it over and over. It opened my mind to finances. Whatever he said. Because when you are a young prophet, you need to understand 3 things that will unlock you the height of what God has called you to do in the assignment of the prophetic. Number 1, that every word that comes out of your prophet's mouth, which is the word of the Lord, You have to open yourself to that revelation, that spirit, that anointing, so that that anointing can digest with you. So you have to be in an atmosphere of learning, learning. Sit under that atmosphere, listen to every— there was a time that every message that Mike Mudda preached I knew the next thing he needed to say. The spirit of the revelation, Apocalypse, the unveiling of the word of the Lord was already resident in my spirit. You have to digest every word, his prayer lifestyle, his pattern lifestyle, the way he prays. You have to digest it, you have to be, you have to digest it, understand it, be it, become it. You know, when they saw Jesus and his disciples, they said, when they knew that we had been with Christ, because it wasn't a physical resemblance, it was a spiritual identity. Everything your co-leaders teaching, you are into it, studying it, drinking it. That's where the mantle begins. That's where the language changes, because your tongue— that's why God anointed the tongue of of Jeremiah and the tongue of Moses. Because when you study the mantle, the material of the prophet, the message of the prophet, your language begins to change. Your language is your authority. Your expression to the earth realm changes. Number 2, when you study everything he's writing, he's saying, when the atmosphere is meeting, you are part of the meeting, you're organizing the meeting, you're pushing You are just there. The mantle is recognizing you. The words are recognizing you. His tonation, his syntax, his semantics, you see what I mean? His expression. Everything is an impartation. Where are you beginning? Where are you beginning? You're beginning to bring the flavor of your prophetic you take it to another level because the Spirit of God at work in him begins to work in you and through you. That's what it means to completely be in an atmosphere. You can't be— you must speak to him weekly, daily. There must be conversation, not wasteful, useless conversations. There must be learning. There must be learning. You desire to be in his atmosphere. There is a longing to be in his presence, you know, because his presence unlocks you. That's prophetic parenting. It's deep. So this is the core I want you to get. Take time and listen to what I've said. There is no growth outside of growth. Work your growth practice plan. What's your plan through the week? When can you be in his atmosphere? I remember growing up as a young minister, I would drive for hour— for like 2 hours or 1 and a half hours as a student to my pastor's house. He didn't want me there, but it's not what he wants. I want the Master. I want to know how he studies the word, how he reads the word, his prayer. I want to fellowship. I want to be in his atmosphere. I want to— I want like the woman with the alabaster oil to sit at his feet and break my oil. I might not be part of the disciple, but I'm a dis— I might be part of the disciple, but I'm in discipleship. I'm in propheticship. You have to hunger for it because that's the only gateway. That's the only gateway. That's the only gateway. Way. That's the only part. That's your only part. Giving is good and all of that is good, but it's the fellowship, the koinonia, the fellowship of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God. See, the love of God and the koinonia, the fellowship, it costs you everything. It will cost you. You'll change relationship. And that's why the mentorship, the prophetic mentorship between Jesus and his disciples and the 3 called men he had They were with him every time. We live in a society where that might not be possible, but you can break the norm. You can create moments. His meetings, his services, his programs, you are the first person there. You are the one starting it. You are leading. Everybody knows that there's a hunger deep within you. That is what it is. That's the core. And that's the first class I want to teach you. On the prophetic. I just want you to get what I'm saying. I want you to listen to this and oversee it and oversee it and study it and study it and listen to it, apply to your life, break this, the order, the order of service in your life, change the protocol, change the way you live your life, understanding that the deep calleth unto the deep. This is what you were, this is what you were born to do. To stay in the atmosphere, to be connected deeper in mentorship, in prayer. Open yourself, break the insecurity, break the desire to be known, break the desire to prophesy, and let the desire to serve, to be recognized by the spirit in the house, by the mantle in the house, by the assignment in the house, because you're an extension and an expression of the prophetic in your house. Until you come to maturity, there is a release. Then you cannot say at the Jordan, the mountain of Elisha shall fall upon you, because you go to Jericho, you go to Gilgal, you've controlled the ropes and the heights. Now, as I was with Moses, I will be with you, because you know what it takes. Don't prepare to prophesy in the prophetic. Prepare to be equipped, to be sent, to know what to do, to know how to troubleshoot, to know how to use the systems of prophecy and the prophetic, and you'll see what God will do in your life. God bless you.
