Hesed Ojieh argues that poverty neighborhoods aren't accidents but engineered systems designed to extract wealth. Liquor stores, lottery retailers, payday lenders, and fast food outlets funnel every dollar upward to wealthy owners. He calls for residents to stop patronizing these businesses and disrupt the extraction engine.

You have to know how the system works. You have to know how the system works. And I'm going to reveal this to you. It's prophetic, it's diabolical. I'm telling you, if you're poor, if you're poor and you live in poverty neighborhood, poverty dominated places, and you shop only within poverty systems, shops that are poor, then by design, by design, you are functioning as an economic ecosystem that makes someone else rich. I'm going to break it down. You will never find 3 things you will never find in wealthy neighborhoods. 3 things you don't see in wealthy neighborhoods. I've driven around, I'm surrounded by wealthy neighborhoods. You don't see liquor stores. There's no liquor store around here. There's no lottery stores around here. There is no payday lenders. You put your titles to get a loan. You're going there to get some money. You want cash in, checking, cash money. You don't see it. If you live in a neighborhood that has 3 of this It is clear, and it's a clear sign that that area was designed for people to extract from you. The liquor store, the lottery, and the payday loan places, they are ecosystems, they are matrix that is making somebody rich. I need you to hear me. Poverty is an economic engine. Do you know that? It's not failure. Poverty is not failure. Poverty is not lack. Poverty is a system, is a matrix system, is an economic system, is an engine. Poverty zones, zip codes, areas are designed to circulate money upward. It takes from the poor and gives to the rich. That's what poverty zip codes and places were built. It was designed. It was designed. It's not just that people moved out. Oh no, it was designed that way. The people who built it could have started living there for some time, but it's originally built as an ecosystem to make somebody rich. Not the poor people. So poverty is an economic engine. It's not failure. In, in the area in which you live, if you have any of these three stores, goods are going to be overpriced, the quality will be low, quality of things there will be low, the credit will be— the credit They will offer you credit, credit facility, you know, because they are predators. You never own it, they own it. You will serve them. And the bad thing and the worst thing about all these poverty-driven places is that the money leaves that environment and goes into the hand of a wealthy person. So every dollar you spend in these 3 places It leaves your hand, it exists, exits your community, and it expands somewhere else. So when you go to lottery, you go to liquor, you go to get money from the payday loans, money is leaving your hand. And that money that leaves your hand is not used to build your community, good roads and all of that. It's not going to be that because it If that environment is elevated, then it no longer becomes an ecosystem, a system that takes money. Don't be deceived. You are not bad money. You're only trapped in a system that feeds on your spending. If you live in these zones where you have Lekos to lottery, payday loan. You must understand that poverty areas are designed for extraction. All the poor places, they generate income, a lot of income, but it was built to extract, not grow. You notice what is in poor areas: liquor store, fast food, check cashing, rent-to-own, low margin interest. Low margin retail stores, high interest lenders. They are not there by accident. They are harvesters. They are harvesters. These are harvesting points. The ecosystem is not to make you wealthy, it's to keep you circulating the money upward to somebody in the chain of order. I need you to hear me. Even the shops that are located in those areas where you have the liquor stores, payday loans and all of that. Those shops are not there to sell you quality. They are there to rip you off. Rip you off. These are terrible ecosystems. They are subscription systems. That gets you money you will never have. It always circulates. Now, if you live in these 3 areas, the trade— what they are selling is not— what they are selling is not money. It's not money. It's more than money. It's position. Those areas are strategically focused on customers, labels, local spending for people with surviving. They just want to survive, just want to survive. Something I'm going to win the lottery, something I'm going to win the lottery. Let me just have a little drink, let me take some liquor to clear my mind, let me just pawn this car, let me— so it's a subscription system, it's diabolical, it's a shifting position. You have to see what it is. You have to see them. You have to expose what it is. The moment you become dangerous to the system, the moment the system begins to know you understand it, it becomes aggressive. The system of poverty where you live, the day you stop going to those places The system will begin to react because money will not flow from you anymore to them. See, poverty survives because poor people unknowingly fund it, unknowingly fund it. If you no longer go to those shops, no longer patronize those shops, it will close. You are the target, not It's not just your money, you are the system, you are the one funding that spirit. It's diabolical to live in these areas, very diabolical. I'm telling you, I'm telling you. So you have to understand how the system works, that you were primed from day one. They had— the system had to select you by your income, by your debt, to put you in that system, to put you there. You didn't just get that address, no. You were selected, you were primed, you were selected by your debt, by your income ratio, by your debt ratio. And because they understand that money in the hand of a poor person is wealth in the hand of a rich person. It's an ecosystem that is dangerous. You have to see what it is, that you are the goat in the game. You are the pawn in the game. This system are built to keep you trapped, to keep you trapped, because they know if you keep seeing it, you keep going. If you keep seeing it, you keep hoping. If you keep seeing it, you keep thinking this. There is a way out. There is no way out. It's diabolical. There are systems, there are metrics in the realms of the spirit. There are set-up systems
