God is here in the midst of his people. The Holy Spirit is already at work, and we know that he that began a good work in our lives will perfect it in the mighty name of Jesus. Romans 8:11.
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. Hallelujah!
Jesus came and died and resurrected so that we will be alive, and not just alive, that we'll be living abundantly, that we'll be living explosively. We'll be living, you know, we'll be living vigorously, zestfully, joyously, in the name of Jesus. That same spirit that raised Christ from the dead is already at work, is living in us right now. That Lord, as your word goes forth in power through the mouth of your people, oh God, as praise reports and testimonies come forth, oh God, that we will continue to overcome the devil in the name of Jesus. Listen, let me talk to somebody briefly.
The resurrection power of Jesus, that's the reason why we are here.
That's the reason why we are calling his name.
That is really why we have faith, we have hope. We know that we are calling a living God. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! He has come to this world and showed us the way of the Lord and showed us the way to the Father. And he demonstrated that by his love and everything he said about himself. That is what happened.

He was put to death and he said he will rise again just to justify your salvation. Hallelujah! Just to make known to you that I am who I say I am. Hallelujah! I am the way, the truth, and the life. Hallelujah! I just want you to be expectant this morning. I just want you to open your heart to as we are going to be sharing some experiences of people of God who have experienced what it means to understand the power of his resurrection. Hallelujah! And I pray that God will lead us like our pastor, uh, had just prayed, that we will minister in the spirit, not out of flesh. But by his Spirit. You know, Pastor Tita, you're one of those people I look up to, you know, in your, um, you know, in your walk with God. You're very dedicated, committed, and, you know, always on fire. For God. So, um, Pastor Tita, I want you to share with us, to share with the people of God today. You know, we have a lot of, you know, uh, experiences you know, that we have encountered, uh, by making use of that resurrection power of Jesus, you know, and applied it to our lives, our day-to-day life, you know. You, as a woman of God, as a pastor, I will want to, you know, I want to ask you, um, how Or what are some hindrances, some hindering factors to you living and exemplifying the resurrection power in your life? How were you able to overcome? Can you share with the people of God?
I would like to answer that question.

Um, I believe in the resurrection power of the, of the, of God, through the power of the Holy Spirit. And to justify, uh, my life, I shared only because I know our time. Amen. So, but I know God, God choose me to pick me not to destroy me, but to be a testimony to each and every one of you. So my life is really a testimony. Going back 2005, after the death of my husband, I've been, I've been, uh, really like no direction, confused, disgusted, disappointment, dead, financially dead, and spiritually dead. But I keep on going.
I keep on going.
Why, you ask me? Why? Okay, because I was struck by the systems of the world about credit cards And because of those loneliness and sadness in my heart, my life is only going, going to the wall. And I keep on striving that credit card unknowingly that I have no money, sufficient money to pay when the bills come. So I was so depressed and disgusted. And I know and I believe, amen, that God is with me. Because the things that I— that you said, the hinders. Yes, the hinders in my—
in my— your life.
Yes, in my life. Yes, the hinderer factor in my life is I trust too much in myself, enjoying my life, amen, unknowingly that I was being put into something that will destroy my life and destroy my destiny. And I really thank God because at that time I never know. I'm not lifting Prophet Victor, I'm not lifting anybody, but you know, God is using something because even you are a Spirit-filled woman, spoken in tongues, you'll be trapped by it and can be destroyed by the enemy. But the time God sent, God sent a man who went praying, and I remember that time— this is a part of my testimony— I remember that time that I was so in debt, but he didn't even know that I was really in debt, in debt. But I shared to him and he said, So we are giving a time and get all those bills, he said, but also told us to and pray. Number one that I know is prayer.

Yes, prayer.
Prayer.
Amen. Yes, because life always has a resurrection. Because before, before we experience, before I know that, before I experience that, God is already there and he wants me to know that he knows the things that going through in my life. But there is power in prayer, believing and seeing that I can come out. And the things that I do is just to trust God. Amen. I remember that putting those scriptures on my refrigerator and declaring the blood of Jesus to my bed.

Professing amen, amen, but believing without knowing who is your God and knowing who you are, I believe it is empty, it is void. Amen. But I thank God for the resurrection power of God, because God showed his mercy to those who are believing. And, uh, I was, you know, my death, my death, I can say it's supernatural because it's 145,000 Who else in the world that can do that? In the bank, I owe 65,000, but someone— God connected me to a person that knows how to connect to the bank. And that's the power of believing and seeking that God. That is the hindrance. The hindrance is I trust too much in my life. I trust in credit cards unknowingly that my source is God.

And I'm living beyond my means. How can I do that? I'm confused. How can I do that? I know the money that is coming to me and I keep on going there. That is those of you who are the greatest shopper.

Don't look happy. Me, it looks like, you know, shop until you drop.

And I dropped. My life is so mess. I don't know how to come out.

And I know that prayer is very powerful because that received and views almost, you know, I think it's almost 35,000.

those of you, those of you who are in the Amen!
Just claim it! So there is power in prayer if you are believing and knowing God and doing your part. The other one, how I overcome it—
Yes, how were you able to overcome it?
I overcome it by, of course, believing without repentance is useless. Because when you believe and you didn't repent, you keep doing the same thing. To sit doing the same pattern of your life. So I believe, I believe, I repeat, and I believe. And one thing before the time— one thing is I learned and I read books, I study how to be a good steward. Because you can be a spoken spirit-filled tongues, amen, but if you don't know how to be a steward of the 90% that's given to you, you'll be in trouble again.

Amen. The tithes in opening seed, and you do tithe opening and seed. Don't be comfortable with your tithes, no matter if your son need $10, but you start.

Yes, you know, um, Based on what you just said, I was just listening to you and I understood something. You know, when you faced— when you said your husband passed away, and I know how difficult it is, you know, when you lost— lose a loved one, you know, and picking up your feet back again, and you know And but you knew you had it, like God, Jesus.
Yes, I believe in Him.
You believe in Him that He will take care of you.
Take care of me because I'm a widow.
Yes.
And I know the widow loves God.
Yes, yes, yes. So with that only, you were able to believe in the resurrection power, knowing that He's alive for you.
Amen.
He's there for you to care for you, all your needs. Even everything you've gone through, even with time you, you're struggling, you know, living by your own strength, by your own, uh, wisdom and everything. But you know, came to the point that you have to surrender unto his power, knowing that he cares for you. So, and you know, we, we can use that to, you know, to picture that, how her testimony in our lives, knowing that God cares, Jesus cares for you. And his— and she said something very important. She said she prayed. Prayer was one of the things that brought her out of that hindrances. She prayed with the word. Hallelujah! And Jesus was able to come through for you. Hallelujah!
So, okay.
Said Jesus told them this is the only word God wants from you: believe in the one who is saying, I am sent by God. You are sent by God. So believe that the death— that your death will be a supernatural death, translation. The enemy is gone in Jesus' name.

It was the resurrection that changed my life. I think by now, you know, when hypocrites come in my life and say you can't do that because of your past, you know, you can't start a ministry at your age, you know, I should have come to the Lord a long time ago, you know, why didn't I, um, you know, stop using, you know, what I did. But when I found out that everything in my life passed on the cross—

And I stand in that name. That's anyone that's struggling, remember who you are in Christ and constantly feeding your spirit who you are in Christ and believing who you are and the resurrection, who he did. That's why I say, when, uh, others say, you know, I don't believe in that, you know, the Trinity, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, I don't believe that God rose from the dead. But when you see the power of the supernatural work in your life, you know that there's a God. You know that he lives and lives today. And that's why I stand on and thank God for the freedom I have in Christ, and that no matter what comes my way, I know that I'm free.
Wow, hallelujah! Now, I'm, I'm very interested in what she just said. You know, you know, people in the world are so quick to judge and condemn, you know. But when you come to Jesus, he doesn't condemn you. So you can imagine the resurrection power. Just like she just said, her past was ugly, but when she came to Christ, it became beautiful. You know, I, I am so happy for that, um, you know, testimony you just shared, you know, and it's very inspiring, you know, because so many people need to listen to you, to hear this word. So many people have been held captive and they don't even know who to run to, you know. But with testimonies like this, it can encourage someone to Christ. Jesus said he is the way, the truth, and the life. Just come to me. He said even though your sin, it will be as dark as scarlet, I will make you— ah, if you ask of me, I will make you Just ask. Hallelujah! That was, that was great. Awesome. Wow, wow. So saying that, that the resurrection power has helped you overcome the hindrances of your past, your past life, in your walk with God. Knowing that you are free, you're not condemned. You know that the life you live, once lived, is all gone. You live in a new walk with Christ. He made everything beautiful in your life. Now, you, like she said, she said it makes me want to have more of him, to know him. And I want to ask you one question. Since you, you have this resurrection power Understanding this resurrection power, knowing that he is and he lives in you. So have you had an opportunity to talk to someone, like to tell people about your experiences about Christ? Have you ever spread the message to your loved ones, to your place of work, everywhere about Jesus? Tell me, have you? What was the reaction The feedback you get when you— yes.
Drug dealer in the state of Michigan, you know. But yeah, because he made me do— I think more, I walk more, I talk different, you know what I'm saying. I think differently. And I'm ashamed.

I'm not, you know, bragging about that, but I'm ashamed to say, yeah, I made mistakes. Y'all don't shame for me. I'm not proud of— I stole, I lied, I cheated. Me, you know, and that— but because of the resurrection, what Jesus done for me, because I can turn around, he can too. Wow. You know, if you got to change me, he can change you too. I still struggle, but even when things come in my life today, you know, the devil try to remind me of who I was and what I got. How dare you try to start all that different shit that went on.

I'm being renewed and constantly knowing myself daily that I can go forward. You can go forward. You know, I work in the field of recovery. I'm constantly, uh, encouraging clients to, um, first of all, give back, share testimony, know we are in Christ, you're in belief, believe God and the Word. We've been taught that by Pastor every day, so they take that Hallelujah. Hallelujah, that is awesome! Please give Jesus a big hand for that wonderful You know, this is, this is awesome.
And, uh, I, I believe this is the reason why we're having this program, you know, to share the word, you know. And we know that the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus, right? So you experiencing the power of resurrection, it comes with a testimony. Hallelujah! Yes, you know, so, um, I'm very happy and I'm thank— I thank God for what he has done in your life, you know. And you are free and I'm happy that you have his, his inheritance, all the glory, everything he has promised through his word. Hallelujah! So I'm so grateful. Please give Jesus a big hand. I know so many of us have experienced one thing or the other about the resurrection power of Jesus. And I'll put it up now to, um, is anyone here that want to share with us? Hallelujah. Okay, hallelujah. I think it's now time for discussion and questions. Hallelujah. Amen. Hallelujah.
I want to comment on a couple of things that was said. Yes, most of the time, the reason we don't experience the power of God is because we partner with that which is against us. Let me explain myself. I don't want to speak, but I want to read. The Bible says in— Hallelujah! The Bible says in Romans chapter 8, it says— I believe the Message— it says, with the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that faith full deliverance results. Those who enter into Christ, be here for us, no longer have to live under a continuous low-lying black cloud. Wow. He said a new power is in operation. The spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from the fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hand of Simon Peter. Let me explain this. Sometimes when you face a battle, you lose your mind. Remember that every battle Let's say this: we live in two worlds. We live in the world of the spirit within us, and we live in the material world. Now, have we said that? So you realize that Satan— for Satan to penetrate you, the only access he has is in your mind. So when Satan attacks you, you lose the power because you lose your mind. Why did I go through this thing? Why didn't God answer me? I have spoken, God is not hearing me. I have spoken, God is not hearing me. I have spoken, it's not working. I prayed, it did not work. Pastor talked about having debt of $165,000. What kind of tongues are you going to speak to clear those debts? Yes, yes. Maybe I think they don't want to listen to you or rise or back. Are you listening to me?

So at that point, it is a battle of the minds. So you lose your mind because your prayer will no longer work. Satan tells you. But the problem is that nothing gets into you except, except through the gate of your mind.
That's true.
So when you lose your mind— some people have lost their mind, some people can't find their mind, some people, their mind is all blocked. So how come double-minded? Double minds, it don't work, it don't work. So all of that are signs of battle on the outside, it's even on the inside. So I've realized that, like Mami said, if you have the life of God, the resurrection power, expect trouble. Because trouble is the display of your identity.
Yes, that was deep.
So when Satan attacks somebody, he's not— he has no right to attack you, but because Satan is legalistic, he wants to see if you're going to respond.
Yes, right.
You are sick, your leg, you're evil. So he's waiting to see if you are going to respond. When your faith is down, he knows he's going to pump you with that thing. You are lazy, your mind is lazy, you are broke. He comes with more brutal voice because he has possessed your mind. Yes, because Satan's body belongs to the mind.
Yes.
So when he keeps— take for example, this one is what people call happy. There was nothing like unhappy because unhappy is a state of mind that does not exist. Only the mind of the moment is unhappy. You cannot carry unhappiness and give somebody.
Yes.
Am I right?
Yes, yes.
So Satan puts unhappiness in you. I don't feel good, I'm broke. If I tell you to give it to me, you can't give me. You can't give the doctor. The psychiatrist cannot get it. So only you are in the pain that is agreed and agreeable by you alone. So the resurrection power does not work if whatever devil is doing, you are housing it in your mind.
Do you understand what I'm saying? Yes, yes.
So many of us now, Satan puts that thing in your mind, you don't have to, you don't have to worry. Some of you, it's time you begin to repeat it over and over. Because anything you repeat in your mind becomes a law in your mind. You keep saying, oh, I'm sick, I'm sick, I'm sick, you're not sick. Until you start saying, I'm sick, I'm sick, I'm sick, I'm sick. So how do you, how do you, how do you, um, there's a word used, how do you defeat it or how do you overcome it?

And it makes you believe it because Satan can't give you what you don't have, what he does not have. He only gives you what he does not have because you accept that he has what he's giving you.

So the huge aspect is that you accept. It's like I was saying, my friend, Satan can't give a car to a poor man because he doesn't have it. Satan said I come to kill, steal, and destroy.

He's only borrowing the money that belongs to you and giving it to you to give to God his kingdom before you even get there.

So if God cannot penetrate you and say, put in your mind— I remember that the first warfare in heaven was Satan's thoughts. Satan did not say, I will take the children of God. He thought it. So your thought is a warfare or is an agreement? That's the power he stole. Hope you know the power of thought is not anywhere but in your mind, sorry, in your spirit.

Is overcrowded. God, I need this, I need a miracle. That is overcrowded. There's another realm where miracles happen. Resurrection power is the thinking part. You think your way into what God is saying.

Whatever you can think or ask. So in conclusion, you find out that people struggle with their walk with God. Right now, right now, some people are not here. Do you know that? Yes, they're sitting here, but they're not here. Some of you are not here. You've thought about the food you're going to eat, you thought about after the service, you thought about what you're going to do, right? Some of you already texting what kind of meal you could eat, right? So your body can be in a place but your mind has gone.
Yes, that's right.
So the hindrance to it is that until your mind is controlled by the Spirit, the resurrection power is far-fetched. So I'll show you. He says, he said, guard your heart, guard your mind. Hold on, hold on, listen. Guard your mind. For what? Not into it. I did not hear you.

So what Satan puts in your mind is powerless. It's what you took from it to bring it out that killed you.

That's right. See, get out of it. So I'm telling Brother David, you are crazy, you are crazy, you are crazy, you are crazy, you are crazy. He is not crazy, he's just gonna laugh. That's crazy, that's crazy for thinking I'm crazy. So you are crazy because you're thinking I'm crazy. But when I say you are crazy, David says, oh, that's true, that's what I was thinking crazy yesterday, that's what I was thinking crazy last night. So that crazy gets into David, and David now begins to act crazy because out of the craziness in David, he's bringing that craziness. There's no disease that can come in because there's no space to come in except the space of your thoughts.

It's only, it's only a facade that you thought you're going through. It does not exist. Yes, because light and darkness can't stay in you, right?

It's somebody's craziness that is bringing the war. There is no evil on earth. It's an evil in man.

So the resurrection power is hindered by the way you think, because once you think it, you become it. It's just— yes, so the resurrection power You have to— somebody said, okay, how am I going to show I'm resurrected? How am I going to show that I'm powerful? How do I exercise my resurrection power? So simple. The law of the earth is governed by words.

America is not governed by machetes and bullets. It's governed by the decision of the Senate and the House. You are the government over your future. You display the resurrection power by thinking powerful. And talking powerful, acting powerful, dressing powerful. You shouldn't walk into the building and nobody knows. That's— go back again and come in again and let people know that somebody powerful has entered.

Remember when Jesus was passing by and he saw a fig tree? It has no fruit on it. It was just the word he spoke. And the Bible said that the next day they saw that that tree has withered away. He didn't touch it. It was because of his mind. He knows with God With the word of God in your mouth, with the word of God in your mouth, you can conquer, you can win everywhere, anywhere you are, because he lives inside of you. Hallelujah! So this is awesome. And just like our Prophet has said, do not be confronted. It's your mind, your mindset. Today, what we have learned today is change the way you think. Okay, oh yes, I may not have this, but you don't see it. You see something different. I have so much money I can spend. I'm a winner, not a loser. I have everything has been given unto me pertaining to life and God, everything. So I don't live a life of struggle because Jesus never struggled. Everything. So you just have to understand that that resurrection power is what gives you the authority to demand, to proclaim, to command, and to decree a thing, it shall be established unto you. Hallelujah! Hey, good morning everybody, my name is Marquee. Um, I've been here a couple of times, but we definitely talking about some great stuff this morning. Yes, uh, resurrection power. I see a lot of resurrection power in here in front of everybody right now.

Great.
Um, I think if you in this, in this space right now, in this place, definitely God has been resurrecting you from whatever you've been through in life. Um, because if you here and we talking about it, it's definitely a testimony of resurrection.
Yes. That's right.
You only can talk about it when it's resurrected. If it was dead, you wouldn't be resurrected, right?
Yes.
Um, I just want to, uh, I felt that earlier, but I just wanted to come talk about some things that I probably experienced in my life about resurrection power.
Okay.
It's so powerful because we look at Jesus, what he did on the cross. Um, only he could have did it.
Yes.
Because I couldn't have did it. Um, but it's, it's, um, it's prevalent today that I can go back and rethink about the themes of their power. Yes, allow me to be here right now. Wow. And not only in, in this season, but in my life, where I came from, what I'm going through, what I've been through, and where God is going to take me. Um, and so what's key about being— to understand God's resurrection power is to reflection of what your life has been through from the beginning to now.
Wow.
Not just right now, but from the beginning. As you look back and I know sometimes it's hard because as we get older we can't remember stuff, um, but I know that in the— and especially in this season of, um, post-pandemic, and you see things going on in the world, you start to appreciate what God has done for you in your life versus what, what we don't have, right? Because we always talk about what we don't have. Yes, what Prophet said about in your mind. So what I did and what I sometimes do is in my prayer time is think about on the mercy and grace of God, on the resurrection power. Yeah, that he did to allow me to be here right now.
Wow.
Um, and it'd be small things, y'all. It's like you sit here and think about, you know, we were able to go to the store, go to the car, and do different things. But I remember, uh, I think I was talking to my mom last week. I remember when I was younger, I think we went on a trip to, um, to, uh, to Florida, and my cousin fell asleep on the wheel.
Wow.
We're like 20 people in a van, right? And he fell asleep on the wheel and we survived. So I know there's resurrection power.
Hallelujah! Please keep Jesus up there. That's wonderful.
From like— but you don't remember those things though. You just think like, oh, it was just something that happened. But really was God's resurrection power in our life because that grace and the protection of his love, man. It was just— I look out, appreciate it more now, um, versus, um everything else is going on. You're like, I could not have made it. And even though it would have been more people, but at the same time, I remember a church member of mine growing up, um, him, it's him and his wife and his two sons, and he fell asleep on the wheel. Everybody died except his wife.
Wow.
Right?
And so when she, um, she may end up becoming my teacher, and I was in her class seeing her like, they gave me another opportunity. Like, man, we couldn't have made it. Made it, but, um, but they— everybody else didn't make it, and I actually made it. So that's like God's resurrection power.

And it was just amazing to have that level of understanding that it's a purpose why God did that.

For me to see that.
Wow.
To identify with a— not only a testimony, but more so how much he loved me, right? Nobody else can do that, can tell me how much he loved me, but by his action and his word and his presence, it was amazing. And then Um, fast forward, as I continue to get older, um, you see, you remember so many different things when you're in the spirit of God because he only can bring to your remembrance. Um, I think that when my, uh, my dad, uh, was going to college, I was with him. It's so funny. And he was— he played basketball in college, um, in North Texas, right? He played basketball and I was with him, and he was on drugs at the time. We was in a car and his car caught on fire. Wow, his car caught on fire. Oh, it's crazy. His car caught on fire. It was like an open— oh yeah, my car just caught on fire, but I was in the car, right? I was like, so we was in the car. I'm like, you're like, dang, I can't believe this actually happened. So there was God's definitely resurrection power, right? Because should have burned up then, right?
Uh-huh.
Um, and then let's fast forward, um, I was having a conversation with a friend of mine last night, and we was talking about the city I grew up in, different things that happened. And I was talking about how I got shot when I was 14. So I was like, you're like, you got shot? I was like, yeah. It's like, for me, it's like, oh yeah, I got shot. But they like, they looking at me like, for real?
You got shot for real?
I was like, yeah. But it was once again God resurrection power.
Yes. Awesome.
Talking about these things, like, it only— it's only God's love and testament that each and every one of us have had these situations. We might just not remember them, but they happen, right? Um, and there was like— the situation was so challenging. I'm thinking about it, and it was like a formality, like, oh, I just got shot today. They're like, for real?
Like, you got shot?
And so the whole situation, I got shot, was so Actually, days ago, like how it happened, like I was with a friend's house and they was playing with a gun and it was like, I'm like, what y'all doing? Like this, we 14. Um, and so that actually happened and I actually got shot by accident, right? But God's mercy and kindness, because the way it happened was when I got shot, the bullet grazed my chest but went in my arm.
Wow.
And so it was, it was just like, um It was just like, I remember it so, so, so, so right in my mind how I just, when it happened, I just moved just suddenly, right? And instead of them killing me, it went through my arm, right? And God reminded me his love for me. The day that actually happened was December 22nd, 2000, and no, December 22nd, 1998. And fast forward, my son was born December 22nd, 2006, right? So only God, divine remembrance, to tell me like I was there at that particular time too.
Yes.
So it was God resurrected.
Hallelujah! That's awesome. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Wow.
Then there's a couple y'all like— so then you go back and I'm like, okay, I got shot. Let's fast forward. Uh, in 2000, and I want to say 2004, 2004, I was in college. And man, I would— it was just a regular day.
And I wonder—
I had had the worst stomachache in my life.
It was—
I don't know where it came from. Be like, I don't drink. I'm like, I don't drink. I ain't got no alcohol poisoning like that. So I'm like, I'm going to the hospital. I'm like— they're like, well, it looked like you got, um some kind of gastritis. You know how they say they diagnosed with all kinds of stuff, gastritis. But it was an attack from the enemy to destroy me. Um, my God's resurrection power, uh, allowed me to keep going because I kept saying to myself, something ain't right. And I could have not keep going to the doctor. I was like, man, something ain't right. I went to like 4 hospitals in Houston, and I went to one in Sugar Land. It was like Oh, you need to be, um, you need to be admitted. And at the time I wasn't saved. I was just like, the Holy Spirit was like, man, you better go do something, because it was, it was so bad. I was like, the Holy Spirit, like, if we even know what to say, but God's presence was still in my life because I knew by his power, his love, that he wanted me to keep pursuing because he wanted to save me. It was only to do that. It wasn't nobody else. It was only his voice to say, hey, you need to keep going, right? And so that moment— so I went to the hospital. I probably in the hospital for 2 weeks, y'all. Um, and it was a gentleman next to me and he was talking about something he was going through, and I was more concerned about him than myself. And talking to the doctor, it was like, we didn't know what was going to happen. We didn't think you was going to make it because they didn't— they couldn't find out what it was.
It was—
it was pancreatitis, but they didn't know why it was happening because they couldn't find anything on ultrasound. But at that particular time, you know, in my heart and my mind, I knew God had a plan for me, but I didn't know what it was at that particular time. And so things was just happening and moving, and I was healed, you know. God power, resurrection power actually moved, even though what I deserved it, but he knew he had a plan for my life. And, uh, that was, was very important and strategic for me to be instrumental who I am now, because all those times, right, It talks about God's love for me, and I even— I deserve it. But Jesus knew when he died on the cross, it was for reasons and situations like that, right?
Um, wow.
And then, um, then when that happened, I still wasn't saved, y'all. I was just still living my life, just going through life. I was in college, like, I need to go to church, but I ain't going to church, right? Um, but then I remember, like, fast forward, and I was going to, like, going through some mental challenges, like some anxiety and stress. I'm like, man, I don't, I don't go through stuff like this. And at that particular time, you get to a place where the doctor's like, ain't nothing wrong with you, because it's physiological. It's a spiritual thing going on. It's a fight. And so at that particular time, I was like, God, I don't know what's going on, but I definitely know I need to call. I need to call on you because ain't nobody else can get me out of this situation. I don't know what's going on.
Yes.
And, um, um, it was a— it was— I had rented a movie from— you remember Redbox? Everybody was going to Redbox, right? Redbox was the thing. And, um, I was going to get movies, and, uh, Redbox, they had a movie called The Book of Eli. Y'all know that movie with Denzel? The Book of Eli. And so this is my last one. The Book of Eli, what happened was at the end of The Book of Eli, there was a scripture. And when I was a young child, I went to a basketball camp, younger And I used to go to Christian camp. They came, I was like, I remember one scripture was, um, Timothy 4:7. So I fought a good fight, I finished the race, and I kept the faith. I finished the race, right? So I had this movie, I had this movie on my account, I would not watch. I'm like, you know how everybody you have a day to charge your dial? I'm gonna watch the movie. And I watched the movie, and at the end of the movie was Timothy 4:7. So God was speaking through me in so many situations. I just didn't see it because I was blinded by sin. And so when, when is your time? It's time. It's going. So that particular point, I start seeking God more like never before, getting saved in 2010. And man, I just— God has been taking me on the path of belief and love and faith, to be not only to be a voice for him, but also be a person to love people. Like he said, he said, love your neighbor as you love yourself. And that's what you got to do as being a believer. Is loving your neighbor as you love yourself, because God knows if you can love yourself the right way, you definitely love your neighbor the right way. Amen.

The resurrection power was to show you that yes, you have it all. I have made everything. It's just the grace of God at work, you know, in your life. Only believe, believe. Hallelujah! Yes, sometimes we come to church. Can you increase this? Yes, sometimes we come to church What he— what he— what the brother was saying, uh, I hope you got it, because the kingdom is controlled by principle and not by prayer. And the principle he was saying is that to exercise the resurrection power, you must begin to count your blessings. Yes, yes, you understand that, right? Because if he delivered you yesterday and you remember yesterday he delivered you, then today there's deliverance.
That's right.
Because sometimes we run on empty because we ourselves are empty. But when you count what God has done, it gives you peace. And you keep saying, God, remember you did that, you did that, you got me saved, you got me sanctified. Because ungratefulness is the graveyard of many people.
Yes.
So that thing, that principle there is good because sitting here this morning, the Lord is showing me the first group of people that are struggling financially And you know, you know, you can't pretend your way into prosperity. Yes, because if you pretend your way and wear something so nice, when you get home you hate yourself because the bills will hit you when you get home.
That's right.
Am I talking to somebody?
Right.
So it's very important that you live in the reality of what God has done. And live in that reality. God forgive me, if your car will be taken, don't get stressed. There are better cars. And actually, if you fear the car will be taken, it will be taken. But if you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that you know that last 3 months ago you didn't pay the bill and there was a miracle. So why are you panicking right now?
Right, right now. That's right.

You have a question?
Okay, so, okay, so you have to know. So, so there is deliverance in having a point of reference of what God has done. If you are sick and you know that there was a time you were very sick and Jehovah healed you. Yes, that's what he said. Why are you panicking? Some people pretend to be healed. No, you are not healed yet. Stop faking it. Stop pretending like— you know, people, when you pray for them, they just start crying. They're not crying for miracle, they're crying that they thought he was going to die before the prayers.
Yes.
So, but when you have— I don't know about you, but there are some battles that I go through that it makes me crazy, right? Am I telling the truth? How many of you know there are some things you go through that, man, you almost go crazy? You almost mess up your mind. Yeah, let's not be— there are no superhuman here, right? He says, work your faith.
I'm not going to—
listen, I have never prophesied to myself. A doctor can't get a syringe and give himself the shots. So I'm working my faith. Even it's more difficult for me than you, because for you I'm prophesying all through the way, but me there's no prophecy. So I'm complaining to God because my faith is already worked up. Why God, you speaking to me to speak to Sister, are you not speaking to me? So I'm on the lower level than you. You're on a higher level. You have someone you can call the prophet. I don't have. Am I right? When you have a problem, oh prophet, who do I call? I'm going to call God. So my battles are stronger than your battles.
That's right, right?
Am I right?
Yes.
So, but when I remember that God, you brought me out of this battle, I'm done already. Yes, because once you, once you gain your peace in the fight, then you've increased your height in the fight.
I like that.
Yes, because it is the fear that even paralyzes you in the fight. Yes, is the— and do you know, this is deep, that Satan is not as powerful as what you're thinking.
Wow.
So the fight is even with yourself, not with the devil. Yes, because the devil has been defeated. Yes, but your mind has not been defeated.

He said renew your mind, but Satan bind him.

So Satan's own is easy.
I bind you.
But my mind, man, the renewal of my mind is taking me like 60 years now. I'm 50, man. I'm still working this thing. So the fight in my mind is stronger than the devil. So I don't even have time for devils. Yes, I don't even have time for I'm broke. No, hold on, first let me deal with the madness of I'm broke, I can't pay my bills. Yes, before I start thinking of extra. I went to Starbucks, um, one time I was broke, extremely broke. I knew it, God knew it. But nobody knew it. Yeah, uh, when I was going there, I said to myself, do not go because you don't have the money. One man still was playing big boy, you know what I mean? I want to hang out with the big boys. Not because Starbucks are food over there, right there. Are you listening to me? That's what Pastor was saying. Yes, yes, you go to the shop and buy a jacket you cannot afford. You want to join the big boys, period. So, and the lady said $11.90. Said, oh my God! I said, there's a car before me, there's a car behind me, there's no space to come out. So I just boldly said to her, take away this, the, the box, just give me the drink. Then I see her face saying, why did you order the box? I was saying to my mind, that's not your business. So it got to time to pay. True story. I opened my glove compartment, packed all the coins in the universe and just gave her. She was so pissed off that she didn't count it. She just said, go. I said, it bets. Do you understand what I mean, right? The warfare in my mind was stronger than what she was doing. Satan was messing me up. And listen to me, Satan was telling me I couldn't drink the Starbucks. Why? Am I saying you know what I mean?
Yes, yes.
Satan is telling you you can't buy that chicken. You know you cannot, but you are fighting that thing. You know, you know, you know the car you're driving is not paid 3 months, and you know when you drive that car you're not going to be happy, right? Because you, you start hiding it in the garage because they'll be calling you, right? Changing the plate numbers. Am I talking to somebody right? So the end of it is that, but when you, like he said, you testify— these are real battles, right?
Yes.
But when you say, you know what, he did it for me.
Uh-huh. Yes.
The Bible says, say to the righteous, say to yourself, He did it. He did it for me. Yes, he did it for me. Well, the more you say it, you activate faith.
Wow, wow.
So that's how you, you walk it.

Let me quickly say this. Yes, I just feel I want to just drop this right in here now. Those of you who are struggling with your flesh— flesh, the real struggle.

The real end of the game struggle. You know what I mean, right? We are in church, so we shouldn't say more than we should say. Those of you who are battling sexual thoughts and all of those school of thoughts, can I get a better amen?
Amen.
Let me teach you something, and this is so powerful. You can never deliver yourself from that, so relax. Your desire, you can never deliver yourself because that desire is designed by God. So binding that desire, you are killing yourself. Can we talk? Can we talk? Yes.
The feeling is this.
See, those desires that are utterances of the flesh, it is beautified and designed by God. You can't bind your, your, those, those, those desires. No, you can't. If the desire for those sexual things are not there, you are dead. Because the, the, that, that desire is the language of the body. You can't tell your body not to love somebody. You can't. But God expects you to control it, not remove it. Can I, can I say that again? You know yourself. That you know the, the, the level of your desire. There's level 1. Once it begins with level 1, Bible say flee. Don't move to level 2 because you know level 2 you are crazy. Am I talking to somebody right?
Yes.
Can we be real here? Because we can kind of— that's the resurrection power, the ability to control what you can't control that is controlling you. You know that if you watch that love story, the whole week is gone. Why do you watch it? The resurrection power limits you from watching it because you are vulnerable, because the body is meant to be controlled. Amen. So that's why God comes in to control the body. If God does not control the body, something will control the body because the body is asleep to something. So having said that, when you know that you're on level 1, don't play with the devil to say, I'm strong, I'll stay on level 2. No, you are not. You know Just carry your bags and packages, carry that phone and turn it off. Stop, please. Yeah, am I talking to somebody?
Yes.
Stop saying, 'Cast you out, I cast you out, I bind you, I cast you out, I bind you.' You won't walk. But when you say, 'You know what, I'm vulnerable now,' this is the moment where boys become men, men become boys. Can I walk away? You walk away, go, go relax yourself somewhere, do some run around, run around, run around, sweat something, and come back and continue the conversation. Sweat it out, go and do something. Start doing all the chores in the house, start doing laundry, start calling all the people that, that you need to forgive. Do something. Am I making sense?

Or else, brother, You start saying, had I known, had I known, had I known, had I known, Lord forgive me. No, if drinking is your problem, just leave that bottle. Don't go to a shop they sell alcohol. Go to the back door where they have baby Pampers and all those. Am I talking to somebody? You know that you are not you. You are tempted. Why are you watching music videos of people shaking their body and you're speaking in tongues? And the more you're checking it, the more you're expanding it. What are you doing? But the resurrection voice— ah, delete! Fire, fire, fire, fire! You come to church, there's some women that— and some men that are dressed not distantly. What is your business to go and hug them? Wake them from afar, carry your bag and go back home. Are we talking?

You have to know that when you hug this sister, you have to bind the thing the sister dropped on you the whole week.

You know, based on everything Prophet has said, you know, there was some— there's a profound word that Jesus— statement that Jesus said. He said, if you will know the truth, the truth will make you free. So the resurrection power is knowing the truth. And I realized that even before you're saying that, when I, I know that when I believed, I received the resurrection power through the Holy Spirit. If you find out in your, your Christian work with God there are some things that happens to you, you can able to discern what is good and what is not. Even though when it comes to your mind, you know, that enemy voice will all— will come first, but there's this still voice that will tell you no, you know, in your mind, you know. And it kind of reflects and reminds you of his word in order for you to do right by God, because the life I now live is the life in faith in Christ Jesus. So that makes my resurrection power, the testimony that I have, sure. And the Bible said the Spirit of God be a witness inside of you that you are a child of God. So in everything you do, loving the Lord Whatever it is, anything that has to concern God, you want to be the number one. You want to make yourself— show yourself approved to God, that you love him. Like what Prophet said, he gave his life that you may have life. Not just any kind of life, a glorious life, an eternal life. A life full of abundance. So if he is able to give, he expects you as his follower, as believer, to do as he has commanded, to love, to be a blessing to people, to the work of God, to see his kingdom grow. It is your duty, not his duty. He has given us everything. All we need to do is to walk through it. And walk in it. This is awesome. I'm so happy for this wonderful episode.
