Pastor Vivian and Hesed Ojieh lead a Thanksgiving service centered on gratitude and God's mercy. They read Psalm 136, encourage journaling blessings, and cite Philippians 1:6 on God completing His work in believers' lives. A special offering and prophetic prayer for healing and provision close the service.

Hello everyone, good evening, and welcome to another Online Wednesday at Wealthy Creek. We are so glad that you're here with us tonight, and we're excited for what God is about to do in every life tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus. You want to say welcome?
I want— yes, I want to say— I want to welcome everybody here to tonight's program. Today is very special, you know, it's Thanksgiving, and we want to be part of your family. We want you to be part of our family. Welcome you to a special prophetic, you know, Thanksgiving broadcast. We're in the season of Thanksgiving. God is awesome, he's been faithful. So I welcome you in the name of Jesus.
Amen. Hallelujah. So it's— I'm sure everyone is very, very busy getting ready for tomorrow, but still we want to be thankful to God. I have just been thinking, as we always think at this time of the year, that what is in your gratitude journal What have you written down in thanks to God? What are the things that you accumulated in your mind, in your journal, you know, wherever you put down your memories to thank God for? What are you appreciating God for tonight, you know, and tomorrow, and in this season? Actually, what is it that you want to thank God for? We sometimes get caught up in the things that we don't have and we forget to count our blessings. We forget to remember what we are thankful for. I'm thankful that I am in the land of the living. I'm thankful there's breath in me. I'm thankful for my salvation. For the saving grace of Jesus. I'm thankful for the roof over my head. I'm thankful for friends and family, loved ones like you, the special people in my life who make me smile every day. I'm so thankful for all of you. And so, um, because of that, I want to read to us from Psalms 136. Amen. As we open tonight's online Wednesday service, I will open from Psalms 136. But before we read, I just want to encourage you to to share this broadcast with someone. Share this service, this online service, with someone that you want to partake in tonight's blessing, someone that you want to enjoy, to refocus, you know, just to, to spend a moment focused on God in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of this weekend. You want to invite someone to enjoy this atmosphere with you, so go ahead and share that broadcast, and the Lord bless you as you do so. Amen.
Amen.
Hallelujah. Amen. So I'm going to read from Psalms 136. And Psalms 136, in this Bible, it's the New King James Version. It says, Thanksgiving to God for His Enduring Mercy. Amen. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods, for His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His mercy endures forever. To him who alone does great wonders, for his mercy endures forever. To him who by wisdom made the heavens, for his mercy endures forever. To him who laid out the earth above the waters, mercy endures forever. To him who made great lights, for his mercy endure forever. To sun, to the sun to rule by day, for his mercy endures forever. The moon and stars to rule by night, for His mercy endures forever. To him who struck Egypt in their firstborn, for his mercy endures forever, and brought out Israel from among them, for his mercy endureth forever, with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm, for his mercy endureth forever. Amen. Hallelujah. And Psalm 136 just keeps talking about, you know, why that person, the writer, is thankful to God, and actually why We can also, we can all get something from here. There are different reasons why we are thankful to God. Some people are thankful for their family. Some people are thankful because they have a lot of money in the bank. Some people are thankful because their bodies are strong and healthy. Some people are thankful because they have many good friends around them. We all have a reason to be thankful to God. My reason is not your reason, but my reason is not smaller than your reason. So tonight we want to encourage everyone to open their hearts in gratitude to the Lord God Almighty and not to focus so much on what we don't have, but as to be thankful for what we do have and to be excited with expectation for what more blessings are coming our way. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen.
That scripture, you know, Pastor, sometimes we tend to focus, like you said, on what we're expecting.
Amen.
What God is not yet doing.
Yes.
What is going on in our life.
Amen.
As we celebrate this special time, it's not just a time for families to gather together. It's a time— look at verse 1, Pastor Vivian, say, it's a time to open your mouth.
Amen.
Open your mouth.
Amen.
Give him thanks.
Yes.
Right where you are.
Amen.
Thank him. Say, I thank you.
Thank you, Lord.
He's good. Yes. You know, sometimes you meet people in your life and you, you think, oh, this person is awesome. Oh, this person is powerful, they are contributing. And eventually you found out that no, this person is not good. There's nobody that can be as good as God. He's consistent. He says what he does and does what he says.
Amen.
So one of the reasons why I, I, I want— I'm here this, this hour is to say that God is good. And I'm thankful that God is good even when I am bad, when I'm not consistent. Persistent. When I struggle with the issues I'm struggling with, my doubt, my worry, my fear, God is still good. Now, is God good to you? Is God good to you? Sometimes we keep the goodness of God in our mind.
Amen.
We don't express it. I want you to open your mouth and say, God, you've been good. I begin to count the good that God has done. He's kept you strong. There are some battles that rage. There were some battles you thought you couldn't come out of. It was really, really aggressive. But the Bible said God is good and his mercy, his mercy, he erases the bad part of our lives. He erases the weaknesses. He erases the sins in our life.
Amen.
As long as we hold on to him, hold on to his goodness, hold on to his goodness. His goodness is his faithfulness. His goodness is fruitfulness. His goodness is abundant abundance. His goodness is prophecy. His goodness is promises. Hold on to God's goodness. I know, Pastor, maybe there's somebody here saying, you know what, my Thanksgiving is dry. There's no money in my account. I don't even have money to buy food. I don't have money to, to, to, to, to cook or to go somewhere. That is— that I know that's important, but why don't you say, God, I thank you because you are good and your mercy endureth forever and ever.
Amen, amen, hallelujah. I'm just thinking about what you're saying right now about someone who is not really, really excited tonight because you feel as if even though we are saying give thanks to God, give thanks to God, count your blessings, that no matter how much you crack your, your brain, you cannot, you know, really pull up anything that you think is a blessing that you want to thank God for. And your life seems to be full of things that you are not enjoying or you're not thankful for right now. But tonight I just want to encourage us with the word of God that says that he that began a good work in our lives will perfect it in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible here says in Philippians 1, Philippians 1:6, being confident of this very thing, amen, that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ, the God who has begun a good work in us. The good work that God has begun in our life is, you know, first giving us breath, first, you know, putting us in this land of the living, you know, and all these little other things that we may not be able to identify or accept or acknowledge right now. The fact that we are alive and that we are not dead, the fact that Jesus shed his blood for us to be saved, that is already God beginning a good work in our lives. And the Bible is promising us here to be confident that the God that began this good work in our lives will perfect it. So still, even if you don't have everything that you want right now, or you can't figure out what a blessing— what is a blessing in your life, or what you can be thankful for right now because you're going through a difficult time, tonight still just present yourself before the Lord and say, Lord, I am thankful that I'm here in the land of the living. I'm thankful that you counted me worthy to shed your— to to have your Son shed his precious blood for my sake. I'm thankful that you, you found me worthy to rescue me from the miry clay. You know, for God to look upon you and say, I do not want you to perish, I want you to be saved, that means that you are a precious person in the sight of God. And that means that God has begun a good work in your life, which the word of God promises right here, that God will perfect until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. So you are not alone.
Amen. There's a song we used to sing: He who began a good work in you, he's able to complete it. Yeah, this is the difficult thing when you are in the wilderness, when you are in that difficult situation. Yes, when you're in that place where things are not working, possibly when things are not working, sometimes it's difficult to give God praise. Of course, to say, God, I thank you.
Of course, absolutely. When it looks like words, it's just words. When everyone is saying be thankful, be grateful, be thankful, be grateful, and you're going through it, it just sounds like words. But then in the midst of what sounds like words, we push ourselves and press ourselves. Because you know, while you're alive, there's hope, and you have to press in, you know, for a better day with that expectation, that excitement and expectation that keeps us, you know, able— that makes you able to wake up the next day and you know, like take another step and another step and another step, and you know, waiting for the manifestation. Or manifestation sounds like such a spooky big word, but just like waiting for it to happen, waiting to see that thing that you are waiting for.
Glory. So maybe you're in, in the wilderness. Look at what the Bible says here. He says, um, in verse 16, 136:16 of Psalms. He said to him, who led his people through the wilderness.
Amen.
Who led his people through the wilderness. Right now, I want you to just begin to journal, right? That's what this whole message is all about.
Amen.
Begin to journal, write, say, declare what God has done, the goodness of God.
Amen.
That's just what we want to share with you today, the goodness of God. That you open your mouth and give him thanks. Open your mouth and celebrate him. Open your mouth and, and, and declare his faithfulness.
Amen, amen, hallelujah. So this is supposed to be a joyful service and we didn't want to go into any dark place, but so having acknowledged the fact that some of us might be going through a difficult time, we're pressing ahead into the state of mind of being thankful, being excited about the little things that we do have. Some of us have little things Some have big things that everybody can see, and everybody can point at this thing and say, this is something to be thankful for. But I think every one of us will have something, no matter how little, that we can be thankful for. Maybe that good neighbor that smiles at you every morning when you're having a bad day. Maybe it is that child that remembers to call you. Maybe it's that workmate, that colleague that remembers to smile at you or to say thank you. Maybe it's the boss that acknowledges you. Maybe it is the pastor who will send you a message and say, how are you doing? You know, someone— there's always something, no matter how small, that we can be thankful for. And the more we are thankful for little things, the more things to be thankful for will be attracted to our lives, in Jesus' name.
Amen. Father, we pray for everyone who is under the sound of our voice.
Amen.
We've just come today on this Prophetic Wednesday.

In Jesus' mighty name we have prayed. Father Lord, for those that you have put excess supply in their hands, send them, oh God, send us to the places, oh God, where we will deliver the excess supply that you have put in our hands to be a blessing to others. In Jesus' mighty name We pray, we pray for your laughter, we pray for your joy to be abundant in the homes of your people, oh God, in Jesus' mighty name. Sounds of rejoicing, sounds of deliverance, sounds of excitement will ring from our homes during this season, in Jesus' name.
Amen.
Amen.
Hallelujah. God bless you. Yes, at this moment we want you to give a special offering. Amen. Hallelujah. A special thanksgiving offering. The detail will be on the screen. And I'm telling you, as you declare, say, Father, I thank you for your goodness. That offering is saying, God, I thank you.
