Hesed Ojieh teaches that faithful stewards don't stay broke. He links financial struggle to excluding God from your income and shares how a church in Randburg, Johannesburg turned around its finances by changing this.
You will never see a faithful broke Christian. You never see a great steward that is broke. Never. But you always see people who are unfaithful in their 90% crying to God because of the 10% they give to God. When I was in Johannesburg, South Africa, I met great people, great people. There is a church in Johannesburg, South Africa, in the Randburg area. They had just about 150 people. They built their church over— they built their church over 2 million, fighting with finances. But I wondered why God never prospers a terrible steward. See, every time you see money or the lack of money, there is disobedience connected to it. Even in my life, in my life. I've noticed every time I exclude God from the 90%, I'm cut out of the supply system of heaven. See, sometimes you think your 10% is important. It is. You're returning what God's given you, but there's a stewardship. There's a stewardship. You'll never find a great steward that is poor. You'll never find a great steward that is poor. Poverty is not the absence of resource, it's a lack of resourcefulness. It's a horrible thing to be broke.
