SUNDAY, APRIL 10, 2022 SERVICE/ RESURRECTION POWER SERIES I PROPHET HESED & DR. VIVIAN

The video records a Sunday service in the Resurrection Power series led by Prophet Hesed Ojieh and featuring a lengthy testimony from Cedell Martin. Cedell recounts her life journey—growing up in a Catholic home, moving from Florida to Georgia and Texas, multiple relationships, early pregnancy, marriage, and raising three children—emphasizing how each decision shaped her faith and identity. She describes her spiritual awakening through a TV program, personal prayer, and a deepening relationship with the Holy Spirit, noting practices like journaling and "soaking" with other believers. After her testimony, the prophetic speaker delivers a sermon centered on "decision, identity, and resurrection power." He argues that believers create scarcity by claiming God wants them to be blessed, healthy, or wealthy, and that true power comes from recognizing one’s inherent identity as created in God’s image (head, not tail). He urges the congregation to rewrite their self‑image, write affirmations, place them visibly in the home, and live as managers of resources rather than pursuers of lack. He expands this teaching with vivid financial visualization practices: writing down dreams, keeping a $100 photocopied note in the wallet, repeatedly looking at it to excite faith, and encouraging believers to picture larger sums, thereby cultivating an atmosphere of abundance. Practical steps include daily writing, using Proverbs 4 as a study model, and aligning actions (work, finances, relationships) with the resurrected identity. The sermon also includes anecdotes about confronting harassment, asserting spiritual authority, and maintaining discipline. Brother Emmanuel briefly announces a toast for Pastor Vivian’s wedding anniversary, reinforcing community fellowship. The service concludes with a brief Q&A and encouragement to apply the teachings.
Chapters
We all have our experience that kind of give us the opportunity to say thank you, Jesus. So therefore, some people are saying the spirit. Yes, just so far, I'd like to call on Sister Sylvia to come share experience with us.
Amen.
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!
Jesus! Amen!
Morning! Good morning! Morning! It's a privilege to be in the presence of the Lord.
Yes, yes.
So, uh, so like, to you, like, what has been your experience being a Christian and how has it impacted your life, you know, and to the life of others as well?
Yes, yeah, that's, um, I want to start off by saying, um, piggyback off of something my sister said. I think it was last week, Tammy, um, even when she was going through, the thing was I was away in school, but, um, I want to talk about her decision decisions affect, you know, our decisions, you know, they affect us. And, um, we had a loss. Yes, we had a loss, a great loss. But at the same time, I was dating her fiancé's brother. I was dating Harris at the time. Y'all, I was just really those days in the motorcycles. So Harris would come over and he would talk about, uh, oh, damn, damn. You just wait till you meet my brother. Now mind you, we've known them. I didn't know Harris, but we've known the other siblings. He had been gone. He was in the Marines for some years, but at the same time, um, he would talk about this motorcycle. Terrence would talk about this bike, and I said, okay, because I asked him, any more like you at the house? And, um, he said, wait till you meet Harris. Wait till you meet Harris. So, um, Harris would come over and we start courting, and, um, he had that bike. I would ride, ride, ride. We just love— I would love going on the beach on that motorcycle. We grew up in New Smyrna Beach, right outside Daytona, Florida. And, um, but that— at that moment when, um, Harris had gone on home Harris, instead of me going back to school, okay, I had another year in college. Instead of me going back to school and the family, they were all going through, and, um, I made this decision. I decided not to go back to school. What did I do? I left with Harris, and I, um, and it wasn't a push, push, push from him. It was me. It wasn't a push, push. No, come on, go with me. No, I didn't make this. I made this Decision. And, um, I left with— I left with Harris and we moved to, um, well, we visited some relatives, his relatives in Georgia. Well, we have plenty of relatives in Georgia also, but this particular area. And all I could say when we were there was, um, oh Lord, I don't know, no, no, no, I can't see myself living here for the next, you know, years, many years. But, um, The people were wonderful. Oh, they were wonderful, full of love. And I thank God for that time there. But moving forward, we moved, and then we ended up moving to, um, oh, I worked there for a while, and then, uh, so on Southern in the schools. And this one, it was a little tiny town in, um, Georgia, but this, um, one particular teacher I was subbing for, she said, um, She had gotten an illness, and she said, "I want you to take over my classroom." And I was excited at that moment. "Okay, yes, I'll take over your classroom." And she said, "No, I want you to take over my classroom for good." And all I could think about, "No, this town is a little too tiny." I didn't say that to her, you know, and I just felt like, "No, I think we're going to go somewhere else." But anyway, I took over for a little while and then ended up into the state of Texas. And we had a sister here already. Cassie had already moved here. And decisions, decision, decision. I made a decision to stay in. And even back up, I had already, you know, talked to my mom and told her. She said, she said with tears, you know, she said, Dale, I knew. Mommy knew. Mommy knew where you were. Mommy know what happened. And She said, it's okay, Dale, it's okay, we're always here. You know, when my daddy had other stories, you know, my dad, he told me other things, you know, what he said to me, things that he said to me. I mean, I thank God for those words, you know. A lot of things that he said to me didn't make sense then, but it makes a lot of sense now, you know. And over the, you know, years back made a lot of sense. But anyway, decisions. And so, uh, when we moved here, I ended up, uh, getting pregnant with my daughter, Carissa. Got pregnant and, um, we had Arissa. Now I didn't put marriage in the part yet because we were not married. Yes, I moved to Texas and I, you know, I had people assuming, you know, that I was married. You know, I never said I'm married. I just— people assumed and I never corrected them. And, uh, I even, um, my last name was Conyers, and, um, I started using Martin. Oh, Cedell Martin, Cedell Martin, that's my name, Cedell Martin. And I heard that, and I would hear that last so long until I believed it, you know. Cedell Martin, Cedell Martin, decisions. And so I, uh, a few years later, we're still together. Harris and I were still together. We had, um Harris Jr., my son, we called him Papa. So we had Papa, and then, um, we had, um, Mariah a few years later. There's 10 years, 9 years difference in Mariah and Marissa's age. So we had Mariah, and, um, when I was pregnant with Mariah— no, no, no, no, I take that back. When I was pregnant with my son Harris Jr. I said to Harris, I said, uh-uh, uh-uh, what are we gonna do? No, we can't keep going on like this. No. So we ended up going to the courthouse, you know, getting married. And, um, decisions— we ended up going to the courthouse, getting married. And, um, things happen, you know, things happen along the way, you know. I thank God for, um, people that, um, God placed in my life at the time, even though I didn't understand it, you know. A lot of things, uh, when we were growing up, my mom to have us— we were raised Catholic, and, uh, Mama would have us, uh, uh, Rex Humbard and all the others, uh, Shamrock and all the others, uh, Oral Roberts, and it was many others. But whenever they were on, I mean, we were like little soldiers. She'd have us sitting in that living room, you know, we would watch attentively, you know, giving our life to Christ, you know. Jesus, Jesus. Jesus, you're not like— we would do that so, so, so regular. But I remember growing up, my mom used to— I love the water, I love beaches, I love, I love water, I love lakes, I love rivers, I just love the water. And my mom would take us as little children and she would say, uh, come on girls. Well, the beach wasn't far from us, maybe 4 or 5 miles. She said, come on girls, we're going to the ocean and, and just cast all your cares into the water. She would always tell us that as little children, just cast all your cares. What is it? What is it? She said, cast all your cares. And I remember even young, and she said, just cast all your cares. And we would look over there at my mom, and my mom be over in a little area and just praying, talking to Jesus, you know. She would just be talking to Jesus, talking to Jesus. And my dad, now my dad, loving man, Daddy was loving, but you know what, he never let a day go by that he didn't say, "I love you girls." You know, he always made sure that we knew that he loved us, even out of the things he showed. But the thing was, he would always, "You all are better than that." You know, "You better than this person, you better than that, you better than—" You know, and those words would just stick to me. You know, he always called me Golly, never called me Sidell, he called me Golly. He said, "Golly," he said, um, He said something to me, but he said something to me. Those words he said to me, and he said— I remember those words coming to pass. And he said, you know, I love the family, love Terrence. They love my family, everybody loved Terrence. And, um, so I was like, well, you all gonna have to love Harris too, because, uh, you know. But the thing was, uh, they had this love, they had so much love for Terrence. But my dad said to me, he said, darling, He said, I know you've heard that I— you— that we love Terrence. He said, I love Terrence like a son. He said, but you know what? He said, I could love Harris too. I could love Harris too, God. And that just sat and rang in me, you know. He said, I love Harris too. But then he starts sharing some things with me that if you keep going down this lane, you know, that, uh, things are not going to work out. It's not— things are not going to work out the way you desire. And so he would share and share, and I would go I wouldn't dare say anything different. I'll just go, yes sir, you know, just listen. And we always said sir and ma'am. Yes sir, yes sir. I know Daddy, I know Daddy. And you know that famous phrase, but I love it. Yeah, I love it, I love it. But you know the things that he said and then stuff, and he held on to it. But anyway, and so, uh, when we had the children and we ended up getting married I was pregnant with my son Papa. I was pregnant with Papa, and, um, we ended up getting married. Fast forward, things were good, and then things started, you know, just spiraling, and things just start— life started happening, you know. And so I would, uh, y'all, I used to love tennis, but I would, I would, uh always had a tennis racket in my hand, tennis balls and a racket every single day. So I got this job here and I, um, would go on the courts after I get off of work. I go home and go on the courts, uh, 10 o'clock at night I'm out there on the courts hitting balls. But anyway, um, I started, I was like, oh, okay, I don't know how to be married, you know. Hesed Ojieh didn't know how to be married, you know, and he was leaving because of the hurt that his family was going through. And he wanted to move away from Florida. Me, I'm following him. It's the man I love, you know, and I'm following him. And, um, we made a lot of decisions. I mean, a lot of decisions. I mean, I made a lot of things. I mean, I thought there were things I've done good, but there were a lot of things that I'd done right— I mean, didn't do right. And, um, but I knew, I knew it was time to get married. If I was going to stay in this relationship, then I need to to be married, you know, we need to be married. And then, uh, um, but anyway, we did. And, uh, so over the years and life would happen and things were good, many good times and many, many, many, many rough times. But at the same time, I would always share with my children that my mom shared with us, you know, that— and my dad, you know, how much they loved us. And then they would spend so much time telling us how good we were 'Oh, you all such good girls.' So I felt like, well, gosh, we were that good. Okay, I don't need to have a boy. That was back up because I don't need a son then. If the girls were that good, then maybe I just need to stick to girls. But thank God for my son. And, um, she said, uh, so life happens, but, um, when things started getting rough, I mean, many times, but at the same time People would always come across me with something, saying things that I would just hear, just listen, you know. I would really take heed to things people would say to me, even if they didn't know it, you know. And I always carry a tablet, always carry pen and paper— I mean, pen and a tablet— always. I've always wrote. I mean, for a little girl, I would write things and I'd tell God this and tell him that and leave it in my purse or leave it in my book bag. And I did that as a little child, tiny, tiny, tiny child. But, and I would write things, and then I'd go back to them a couple weeks later, a few, you know, a few months later, and I go, oh God, you did this! And see, that helped, you know. Look what God did! And I check it off, check it off, check it off. So I grew up, you know, I got old, still writing, still, you know, trying to learn how to pray, advancing in my prayer life, trying to. And, uh, I was going through so much one particular time, this is some years ago in my marriage, but This is what I'm going to say. And I would come home, there was a show on television. It was a show, it was a husband and wife out from Toronto area, and, um, John and Carol Arnott. And I remember they had the show, this little 30-minute show, and I was working part-time at the time, and I would come home and, um, and it'd come on at 4 o'clock. I'd rush in and I'd tell the kids, "Mommy love y'all so much," and I'm running in the restroom washing my hands. And I go in that room and shut that door, and that's when I was introduced, really, really introduced to Holy Spirit. I mean, we became best friends during that time. And they would have this show and it was called Catch the Fire. So every day I would go home, and it was Monday through Friday, and I said, "Oh, I'm gonna catch this fire." I didn't know what the fire was, you know. I was like, "I'm gonna catch this fire. I'm gonna catch this fire. Yeah, I want this fire. I want this fire." And Carol would go Catch the fire. At the end of the show, that was the end of the show, she said catch the fire. And I sit there, close my eyes and reach my hands out. I catch fire, Jesus, I got it, I got it, I got the fire. But the thing was, that gave me such a burning desire, you know, such a love in my heart for Jesus. And I would go, and the things that my mom would take us to that water, then I started going to the water myself, you know, and just sit down and just talk. Talk, tell God about the things that I'm going through, you know. And not only talking— I would talk, but then I would listen. I would just sit there. I mean, for hours I would just sit there and listen. Didn't understand a lot of it, but I would just listen, seeing if I could hear anything. Is it anything? And a lot of times it wouldn't even be there. It would be when I leave there, you know. I learned that I hear more like once I get up up and start to leave, you know. I write while I'm sitting there, but it's when I get up and start to leave and I start hearing things. And so I started driving very early, very, very, very early. But, um, even when I was growing up, I'd take the car and go to the beach.
Oh, I spent a lot of time at the beach.
But, um, and I would just sit there, or if I ride my bike, I'd sit there and just listen. All I did was just I would just sit and listen. So that carried on to now, you know. But it was— it's so much into that sitting and listening because a lot of times we get caught up in low-hearted things of life, you know. And that's what's been going on. But that particular time at the fire, when I said I caught the fire, I caught the fire because then I had a burn in me. I wanted to know more, you know. I wanted to know more. And I had this hunger, I had this thirst And it was, it was, I had this thing in me. It was like, it's got to get out, it's got to come out. And then I wrote this couple, I wrote them and I told them what was going on. And I told them I sat and watched the show. Long story, I told them this and they told me, I said, I want to understand soaking, I want to know about soaking. They introduced me to a couple here that soak in their home. And I didn't know the couple at the time, but I got to know them. And I ended up, I would go to the house every Friday every Friday night. And they would have people coming from all, like, Dallas, Fort Worth area and all the surroundings here. And they would have people coming into their homes in the Sugar Land, and I would just go in there and just sit and soak with them for hours. Come home in my house, and at home, and I share with my children, you know, I talk to Harris, but I share with my children what, you know, the things that I experienced and what just happened. And I would drop them off. I started dropping them off to church And then I go and I found someplace else you go sew. So I dropped them off and I said, okay, you stay here till after church, mom's gonna pick you up. And but I learned how to sew, I learned how to sit, to sit still, to listen, to really listen. And I'm working on that obedience part now because a lot of things with distraction— I mean, there's a lot of distractions just being bombarded, bombarded. About it. But at the same time, um, it was that soaking. It was soaking, sitting still, being quiet. That, that brought me over, you know. I could handle anything. I felt like I could handle anything at the moment, you know. It was like, oh, I got this, I got this, you know. It was like me, me, I know me don't have it, you know. But I understand now it wasn't me. But still, to this day, I mean, that's something where I go back to, I go back to him, I get pushed, pressed, or whatever, you know. It's because it's not, it's not that person, you know, it's not that person, you know.
Yeah, I have just this one quick question, uh, and it's like in the middle of life, and, uh, so how did you invite Jesus into your heart? Oh, and, uh, and what transformation have you seen now that you can also, uh, you know, share with others, you know, because we all have a crazy experience in life But what are the, like, the few benefits that you've seen as a Christian that you can share with others that can be of help to them as well?
Okay, Brother Emmanuel, um, when I truly, truly, truly, truly, truly invited him, because a lot of the times, I mean, when I was Bajia, like, you know, those was words, you know, and, um I mean, it wasn't from the heart, you know. You know, I was being obedient, you know, to parents. I was being obedient to my parents. But I mean, when I got a realization, um, really, it really, really, really hit me when I had all the children. It was like, this is real, you know. This is real, you know. I gotta do more. I gotta do different. And I would always tell Harris, we gotta do better, you know. We gotta do better. We gotta do better for these children. We gotta do better for ourselves. So, um, and then I would just spend a lot of time going to, um, um, I don't necessarily say conferences, but just visiting. If I see where the Lord was moving someplace, I was one of those ones, I'm getting up, I'm moving too, I'm going too. Oh, the spirit is happening over here, and I would go and I would go. But see, it was tugging at my heart, just drawing me. And so at one particular, there was something happened in my home And what I did was, um, and I just said enough is enough, enough is enough. But I was in my late 30s, maybe late 30s, early 40s. But that it come to a point I said this thing is real, you know, it is real. Now don't get me wrong, I've repented and, and, um, gave my life to Christ many times, you know. But, um, it was real then, it was real. It was set in stone in my heart, you know. Something happened, right? So when something happened, I knew it had to be different. It has to be different now, you know.
Yeah. So, uh, this— where everything you shared, like, a kind of— even we as a church, and even seeing you and your family here, it shows that you've gone through a lot, and you also don't want your children to make the same mistake.
No, no, no, no, absolutely not.
I see that you deserve a round of applause for that because of I mean, to be honest, you are the one that have the largest family in this church. We appreciate it, you know, because you are, you are a role model to your family. Commitment to the church is something that kind of nobody will tell you that they kind of, they don't see in church. So thank you so much. And, uh, yeah, it was a very wonderful, you know, testimony. Thank you. Now we invite our prophet to share some few words with us and maybe have some discussion. Then you guys can ask your question. Thank you so much, man.
I want to make a couple of statement. I want to begin from what she said. She kept on saying decision, decision, right? Amen. Decision. And I want you to look at somebody, say decision. Decision. Say it again. Decision. Say it out loud again. Decision. So I want to start from there. I always thought God wanted good for me. I thought so, that God wanted good for me. I thought that God wanted me to be healthy. I believed that God wanted me to be blessed. How many of you believe that God wants you to be blessed? How many of you believe that God wants you to be blessed? But that's not true. That's not true. That's not true. God does not want you blessed. God does not want you healthy. Are you listening to me? Yes. If you are, say, I'm listening. Because if you say God wants you blessed, it means you're not blessed. If you say God wants you wealthy, that means you are in a state of scarcity. So if you say God wants you blessed, healthy or wealthy. So you are saying that where you are is not blessed, it's not wealthy, it's not healthy. So you create scarcity, and once scarcity is created, the law of economics comes in. You pursue it. So if you say you don't have a car The next thing to do is look for money to go after the girl, because anything that you create as scarcity, you pursue it. Are you, are you hearing me? Yeah. Number also, when she said decision, you cannot receive what you already are. Amen. Amen. It's already in you. So why would you pursue something that you already are? When God created man, he said, take my likeness, take my image. He didn't say take money, take a car, because everything that God made is already in you. Amen. You are only a manager, not a pursuer. You're a man. Can you pursue and pray to be a man? So when you say— when you say— I like what I wrote here. When you say that the resurrection power gives me power to be wealthy, to be healthy, and to be blessed, You created a— you created scarcity in yourself. So the power of God— let me break it up quickly. So when you say I need money, you just actually said I don't have money, right? And when you said— because remember that Remember that the right question is what produces the right answer. So if you don't ask the right question, you will go towards the wrong answer. So when you say, 'I don't have money,' you just said there's scarcity. So I have to work 7 days a week, 8 days a week, 9 days a week, 10 days a week. Because there is a need in my life. Do you understand that? So I want to just— this is the most powerful thing, and I want you to write this down. There is no scarcity spiritually, there's only scarcity naturally. What does that mean? When you say I don't have, you just told God that all he has for you and in you does not work. Because scarcity is a physical substance and identity. But what God has given you, he didn't give you anything physical. He gave you spiritual to produce the physical. So when you say, 'I am rich,' you are saying, 'I have the capacity to manage all that God created.' So I might not have it, but I'm it. And the law of attraction— I'm attracted to what I am, not what I need. So when Sadell said that thing, it made up my mind that a lot of people don't know that what you say you don't have, you automatically pursue. But what you say you are pursues you. So when you say I'm healed, I'm healed, I'm healed, The left might be bad. You are only seeing the physical, but the spiritual is what God says you are. Are you understanding me? It's like Hesed Ojieh. So it's important sometimes to talk about it. So when she said decision, decision, it don't mean that the problem is not what you need. What Satan stole from us is not what we need— the car— is who we are. Yes, yes, that's right. You are the head and not the tail. So you can't stay on the side of the tail and cry for God to move you to the head. Am I making sense? You have to walk like you are it so that it can attract you. Am I making sense? So even where you work, you have to walk in like you own the place. Because God wants you to have a job because you're not yet qualified to own your own. So when you master the laws of the earth realm, the law of time— I gotta go to work on time— the law of productivity, then God will say, okay, you are old enough now. To get your own job. You know what to do. Some of you wake up in the morning and you're praying, you come at 9 AM in the morning, oh God bless me. God is not going to bless you because you are breaking the law that God said to Adam. Go and occupy, understand how the things work, understand how to gather money, understand how to make money, understand how to manage money, understand how to increase money. So get a job so you can master your salary. So when you master your salary, then you are qualified to become a representation of the thing that God wants you to do. Many people don't get that. They get retired before they want to do what God has called them to do. So you are not— so in saying that, brother, is that you cannot think broke and pray your way to wealth. You must look wealthy. Yes. You must talk wealthy. Yes. You must walk like you own it. Because when I said, I wrote it a couple of days ago, I was, I was in the, I was doing something in the middle of a junkyard and God said to me, Son, the idea of wealth transfer is false. There's no wealth transfer. The wealth transfer was in the Old Testament because there was no grace. The Holy Ghost had not come to help us. He said today they needed the wicked to give them. Listen, how can the wicked give me money that I own money?
I am money, brother.
So, so this is true. So if the wicked dies and give you all their money, what about their in-laws and their uncles and their brothers and their sisters? You robbed them already, right? Right. That's right. If— how many of you know rich people in your family that died, didn't give you any money? You're angry. Can we be real? So can you imagine that the day your uncle who was rich waiting for you to die, he says, oh no, that just before he died, an angel took up the money and gave to the pastor. You're going to beat up that pastor and tell him, pastor, you stole from us, right? Because am I talking? So the wealth of the wicked is not a physical exchange of money, is a physical submission to what you have. So when a rich man sees you like Joseph, he makes you the prime minister because you are the missing thing in his life. You understand me? So when you walk, you are the transfer of wealth is not cash, is the recognition of who you are. Somebody was saying, said, Prophet, do you play golf? I said, I'm about to. You know, he said, he said, why? I said, because that's not what the people to Ghana to talk. And I'm rich. He said, what do you have? He said, how much do you have? She said, how much do you have in your account? I said, hold on, let me check it. Let me— so I pulled down, I pulled up my account and I read to her that God has given me all things pertaining to life and godliness, that my checking account is pressed down, shaken together, running over. So it's not the US Bank or Chase Bank. No, my Father owns the universe. You understand me? The goal is his. So when you think in that level, God begin to connect you to people that matters. You understand me? I think the resurrection power and the decision, this is where it starts. And I just— I'll touch about it, I'll touch on it this morning, that it has to start with what she said, decision. Let me just speak. Let me speak to ladies quickly. It's so powerful, even men too, right? Because now there's no gender anymore. All the genders are all unified. There's no male and female. That's all right, I understand that. I was talking to one of the ladies that dresses— one of the ladies who dresses in a way— you see them everywhere on social media shaking their body, shaking their front, their side. I want to touch a bit about it. Can I talk to you about this? And I said to the lady, lady, listen to me. Even men, listen to me. Everything that is precious is a law, is a law. Anything that is precious is hidden. That's how God operates. Gold is not found on the surface. You have to dig for it. Your body is the temple of God. When you dance and expose it, you devalue what God has created. Can we talk? Can I go deeper? So when you're dancing and watching who are dancing, you are defaming your race. When you see a woman shaking, delete it and move on, because a true quality woman covers her body. Yes, yes. Are you listening to me? Because God wants everything precious to be chased. All right, come on. Bible say God hides himself in darkness. Why didn't God just come and say, I'm God? Come and say— no, he hides so you can pursue. So when you dress nicely, spread the best perfume, cover the parts that are not supposed to be visible, a quality man will come after it. Am I talking to somebody, right? And if you look at even Muslims, have you seen them? Even all you see is— do you know why? Do you know why? They don't want you to see what they see at home. Why would a woman, a married woman, everybody's seeing everything? No, they provide because they understand that scarcity grows demand. When you dress nicely as a woman or a man who, who has shows all his chest and come out tormenting all the sisters in church— are you listening to me? Hawking all the weak sisters, whispering to them when you're talking on the phone. That is cheap. Quality men covers weak women. And strong women covers weak men. Are you listening to me? So don't fall for men that are trying to show you all they have. They have nothing. The true power of a man is hidden in his character, not in his charisma. Am I talking to somebody? Yes. So you have to decide that you have to decide.
He's not preaching.
I feel like you take it from here. I know you take it from here. So sometimes when you are not happy with you, you can't happy with me. Yeah, I can't love you If you don't love you, my love for you is only an additional. You can go without it, right? The Bible says— you said I should preach, I'm going to go now. So please stop and ask questions. The Bible says something so powerful. So let me start by saying the decision. So decide who you are. Know who you are. Know that God has made you in his image and his likeness. The image is the Greek word for representation of all that God is. When people look at you and say, this guy is loaded, When you look at you, it's healthy because you represent God. And they say likeness means that you are like God, not in the physical form but in your character. So find out who you are. With or without your makeup, you are beautiful. With or without your hairstyle and your perfume, You are awesome, and walk like you are awesome. Laugh like you are awesome. Screwing your face is not a sign of seriousness, it's a sign of depression. Somebody have a question?
Yes, I have a question. Since we are on resurrection power, how does the power of God in us influence our decision-making?
Powerful. I'm about to give it to you. I knew you're going to ask questions, so I got ready for you. So the first thing is decision and identity, and I want to teach about it today. Very powerful. That I cannot give you what you don't have the capacity took you. I can't give you a Rolls-Royce if you're on a bicycle, right? So that's not a question. You must elevate to the resurrection life to experience life. You know, somebody was— somebody went to Rolls-Royce to buy a car. I walked up to the manager and said, sir, what week do you run your promotion? Did you get that? Now we're getting the picture. That you're getting the picture, right? So what is the week you run your promotion at Rolls-Royce? Is there a Christmas promotion? Is there Easter promotion? Right? And the manager paused and said, I don't understand. He said, no, I just stopped to check the season for discounts. Buy one, get two free. And the man said, that's for Toyota, that's for Ford, that you only make people You buy something discount because you want to— you want to deceive— that's not the word I'm looking for— you want to manipulate them to buy. And when you sell quality, you don't have to beg to buy. Quality costs quality. Yes. So to live the resurrected life or to experience it, you must know and qualify yourself based on what God has made you to be. He has made you to be the head. Don't cry from the tail that God should carry you up. That's right. Stay in the up. Yes. No matter the condition. No matter what you are going through, because the skin of a lion don't grow old by age, it grows old by nature. So what you are going through is not really who you are. Don't look at your account and justify yourself. The Bible says— I want to show you something now. I asked Pastor Hesed Ojieh to give me a pen and a whiteboard to write. I think they said it was too— I should have asked for it last week or the week before. I needed a pen to show you something, so I couldn't find it because I want to write today. I want to teach you something so quick. Go to Proverbs with me quickly. I want to say something so powerful. So Proverbs chapter 4. Now look at everybody. The word of God, the resurrection life. When you talk about the resurrection life, you must add it, you must add it up precept upon precept, line upon line. Because to make God's word or what God has done great in your life or worth it, you must begin to line them up in your mind, precept by precept, line by line. So I haven't said that, so it's important to write this down, that God's word cannot be read. You cannot read God's word. You know, cannot. There's no experience. There's a minimum experience reading God's word. Proverbs chapter 4, I was studying for— I think it's 1. What does 1 say?
1 says, 'Hear ye, children, the instruction of the father, and attend to no understanding.' Good, good, good, good, good.
That's where I want to start from. So look at everybody. You cannot read God's word to experience the resurrection power. You cannot, you cannot listen to God's word and experience resurrection power. You must read, listen, and complete in your mind. Yes. Have I said that? Now look at this. He said, my son— are you there? He said, my son— my translation says, give attention to your— to my word. Are you there? Yes. Is that Yeah, Proverbs 4:1.
Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction. Go to 20.
He said, my son, attend to my word, and incline thy ears unto my saying.
Go, so go to 1 again now. Start from 1.
Okay, he say, hear, ye children, the instruction of a father.
Pause, pause. So when Solomon wrote this scripture, he was in the middle of different distress, problem. So he didn't want to pray, but he wanted— if you go to verse 3, he kept on complaining about the things he was going through. Now look at me, everybody. When you go to verse 4, something changed right there. So God wanted Solomon to see that he's speaking to his son I'm not a believer. There's a difference between a believer and a son. When you leave your house, you don't call the believers on your streets to hold your house key. Hello, hello, hello, hello. How many of you phone your believers at your workplace and tell them, listen, the key of my house and my car No, no, but you can call your son and say, son, this is what I— right? So God wanted David to know that this one is not for everybody. These are for sons, people that are looking for their father's attention. Is that clear? So a believer is— a believer is the general term for Christian, but a son is the general term for a believer with the responsibility Amen. You can't— when you tell your son, go get me water, he brings water for you, you're not going to be saying, Father, in the name of Jesus, because I know this water— I don't know what my son put in the water, right? But when you send a Christian to go, how many of you know, like me, you say, ah, open the drink in front of me, bring the water. Am I talking to somebody? How many of you are like me? Ah, you don't want If you don't just drink water anyhow because of what has— I just prayed over you, I just prayed, Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Why? Because your trust is not in that believer, but your trust is in your son, because you know this is blood for blood, right? That's what he said. God said to Solomon, so listen, listen, listen, listen. Stop stressing, stop stressing. We are on a covenant level, right? So let's go deeper. So many of them are asking questions, but please, you can stop them, brother. He said, my son, give attention. The Greek word for that word— look at everybody, I'm going somewhere. He said, my son, give attention. The Greek word means procastine, pro— sorry, prosoki. It means give significance, give consequence, give magnification. Okay, so God is telling us, Pastor, how to live the resurrected life. You have to first of all How many of you know when your teacher tells you pay attention, what do you do? How do you pay attention? Listen, listen, notes. Pay attention to what I'm teaching you now. That will be the exam question. How many of you know you're not going to trust your mind to hear what the teacher is saying? You'll be writing it down, right? Sit and write, right? Because he just told you this is— you're not going to say, keep talking, keep talking on this. No, you're going to say, hold on, what did you say? XY times XY is equal to ZY squared 32. So when you see an exam, XY plus X, what do you do? You remember what you wrote down. So God is saying, I'm not— you're not going to enjoy the resurrection life if you are not taking notes. Because you have to go back to reference. Write it down, pay attention. Yes, because anything you give attention to gives you tension. So when you pay attention to God's word, the tension of God's word will be in your mind. You have to pay attention. It's significant, it's significant. When I'm talking to you, write it down, write it down. Hello! If God says you are blessed, write it down, put on your refrigerator. If God say you are healed, write it down, put on refrigerator. That is what is called attention. Am I talking to somebody? So you're not going to have money by just talking. Write it down 1 million times, 2 times, 3, put on your refrigerator. Giving God's word attention. Are you hearing me? The second thing he says, incline. It's called glomus. Glomus. The Greek word there means— listen to this— the Greek word there means very powerful. I wrote it down. The Greek word that means, you see, incline your ears, means to lean over it. So let me explain what it means. You will not enjoy money, you will not get money if you're not writing numbers down. If I go to your house, would I see how much your rent is for one year on your fridge? That means there's no procrastination. You're not giving it attention. I just pay your rent like a slave for your mortgage. Oh, God wants to pay it. Write it down. Every time you open the fridge, you say, it is paid, it is paid, I'm healed. Give— he said give it, give it attention. Incline your eyes to it. To eat, your ears to eat. Why? My God, how many of you want to be wealthy? If you want to be wealthy, let me see you stand up. I am wealthy. I am rich. I am rich. I am rich. Hallelujah! I'm rich. I'm writing my numbers down. Hallelujah! I'm not talking— I'm not just talking about how much is in my account. Go to my refrigerator, you're going to see how much the car note is paid off. Go to my refrigerator, go to my kitchen, my bathroom, you see how much I'm expecting. He says write it down. Let your ears hear it. Let your heart receive it. He says they are like to know my God. Thing, because God's word cannot be read alone. You must write it down. Am I talking to somebody? He says they are life. If I go to your house now, will I see how much your car is worth? Paid? Can we talk? If I go to your bathroom where you spend hours upon hours upon hours upon hours upon hours upon hours upon hours upon hours upon hours up now was making up your face is your dream in front of you. Wow. Where you're making up your face, because remember he said, look at, look at it, he said, look at it, look at the last, the last instruction. He says, he says, incline what? Your ears to my— hey, 21 gets me drunk. 21 gets me drunk. Read 21. Let them not depart from— I did not hear you, brother. Let them not I did not hear you, brother. Keep them in the midst of thy heart. Listen, put it there. I'm healed. Every time you're making up your head, let your eyes see I'm healed. Let your eyes see debt cancellation. Let them know they're healed.
Let them not escape from your sight. Hey, within your heart.
Hey. See, the only thing you know, it amazes me when we talk about this resurrection. Like, people, I don't know, I was asking God this morning, God, what is the best way to make people see what I'm saying? I wish I have the bionic power like Spider-Man, you know, like The Matrix, just put it in people's mind. That the only job you have is to see them, because when you see it, it has seen you. Wow! Let them not depart. My God, let them not depart from your eyes. Everybody, let's have to read the resolution. Let them not depart. Are you understanding? Don't let them depart. Don't let them depart. Don't let them depart. No matter what. Do you understand? How many of you need money? What are you talking? I don't need anything. I am it. I am it. He said, listen, he said, go tell Pharaoh, I am that I am. I know who I am. What are you talking about? I don't need anything. I am it. The Bible said the word is waiting for the manifestation of the souls. So this is where it begins. I can take you to the stream, but I can't make you drink. That's right. Like this morning, you can be it. Hallelujah! Do you understand that?
I am it. I'm it. I like that word.
I'm on it because I'm Start thinking. See, you know there are 5 locations in your house that you must put what we're talking about. Yes, I've told you this before. Yes, yes, put it when you're dressing. Yes, money comes everywhere. Blessed. And as your eyes keep— listen, because as your eyes keep seeing it You are becoming it. Yes, yes. Am I talking? But you know what your eyes have been seeing? Oh Lord, how much is— how much I have in my checking account? That's all you see, right? And how many of you know that once you know the law of permanence? Have you heard of that? The law of permanence. Anything you see consistently and constantly, you become. You know, you know that practice doesn't come— doesn't make perfect, it makes permanent. So if you keep saying, my God, I have a great job, see me at the job every day, that job will come to you. The resurrection life of God begins by finding it in God's word. Say, prophesy. Speak it, okay? Think it. Sometimes we get— how many of you? So first one is in your car, don't play the radio. Those guys are just distracting, singing songs that are not from another people. And I'm wondering whether there's no Jesus in the song. He touched— who touched you? Your girlfriend or your wife? How many of you know what I'm saying? Use the name Jesus. I want songs that talk about God. No, I was touched by him. I don't know him, my mind is everywhere. So what? I mean, you know what I'm saying, right? But when you get to your car, put your voice on your phone as a Bluetooth. Confessing, I'm the head and not the tail, I'm the head, not the tail, playing all over. It sings inside. Play God's word. That's the first place that you must experience the resurrection power, is in your car. Don't drive without God driving with you. Don't drive without prophecy driving with you. Put it there. Hallelujah! Where's the next place? Is in your kitchen. If you want to lose weight, put it down there. My God, I've lost 100 pounds in Jesus' name. So every time you grab the fridge, I see the soda, you bang it back and take it so that I throw it away. Shout hallelujah! Am I talking to somebody? You feed somebody, you dump, dump, dump, like a couple of dump, dump, dump, dump, dump, then you drive away. Am I talking to somebody? Why? The Holy Bible says the Holy Ghost will bring you to remembrance. But God cannot remember— bring you to remembrance if there's no— if there's no point of reference. You drink it in the morning, drink it in the afternoon, drink it in the evening, drink it in the night. Then at midnight, you begin to pray, Father in Jesus' name, I'm losing weight right now, help me, Father, help. No, it guides your character, it guides the righteousness in you, it guides the resurrection life in you. Okay, so if you want finances I won't experience the resurrection life. Stop checking your bank account. How many of you check your bank account the last 24 hours? Don't lift up your hand, lift up your heart. Some people even check before they buy something at the store. Why buy something you can't afford? There's some of you begin to transfer from checking account to savings account, savings account to checking account, checking account to money reserve. No, be a manager of your resource, but ask God to give you the capacity to increase it. That is the resurrection. How? By speaking those things. Write the name of your business and say, God has given you all things. Am I talking to somebody? Then also the other place that the enemy attacks you is your living room. Yes, that's where the— do you know that depression is mostly found in the living room and in the bedroom? But depression is cured in the kitchen. Yes, that's what they say, because when you're depressed, you eat and you feel good. When you're lonely, how many of you know when you're lonely, you just grab something to eat and start making like it excites inside of you? Food is an enabler.
That's true.
You know, when you're unhappy, let me just pop something in there, let me just eat something, let me just do something. Food makes you happy. How many of you have experienced that? Everybody's crying. How many of you have experienced that when you eat, you just feel like you've arrived somewhere? You grab a cup of coffee. So in the living room, Satan will tell you, watch this program, watch this program, watch this program, right? Right, how many of you know, right? Watch this program, you watch a love story. How— why would you watch a love story when you know that you just came out of an abusive relationship? Satan begins to try your faith, call it trying of your faith. I used to ask people a question, why did Jack go? Why did Jane go? Why did Jack go? And you're going through all attacks. You know that's a door, you know that's a door, you know that's a door. Look for something that talks about— hello— that does not empower your weakness. But empowers the righteousness in you, empowers the fire in you. Hallelujah! So you can grow and live the resurrected life. After you watch the movie, now you begin to text your ex-relationship. Hello, how are you? Hallelujah! You have— can we— can you explain what— how many of you know what I'm saying? Explain what Everybody's laughing now like we don't know who we're talking about, right? But the resurrection life makes you a team maker, makes you stay strong. Hallelujah! What program that lifts up your faith in the bedroom? Hallelujah! At home? Hallelujah! If you know you cannot stand men that are handsome, why scroll Instagram? Do you know Instagram is not for everybody? If you have people you follow, don't scroll down. By the time you scroll down, you start buying the buyables, losing the losables, and setting yourself free. Stay in the place of righteousness. Hallelujah! Am I talking to somebody? And also you can find your garage way They say, they say, I heard somebody say this, he said people drive cars they love but they hate because every time they remember how much they are owing or how much is due.
You like the car, you don't like the loan.
Yes, so when the loan leaves your account That unhappiness just hits you. Then some of you start calling the car company, um, is there a way to reduce my payments? They say yes, there's a way, there's a way. God has answered me now. And they tell you, no, we can only reduce it by 20 cents. Don't let what you drive depress you. Amen. God gave you that car. There's nothing wrong with the car company. You chose to drive the car. Decisions. Thank you. So if you want to hang out with the big boys, be one of the big boys. So when you— so, so that's how to live the resurrected life. You know what I mean? The last thing also is important: where you walk. Let the resurrection life show. Some of— I don't know about this church— some people, if Jesus Christ meets them at their work, they won't make heaven. Come on, preach, Prophet! And that's why you can't invite any of your coworkers church. Say, you, right? Because when they crack all the crazy jokes, say, ah, whoa. Then Sunday morning you get dressed. When they ask you, what do you do on Sunday? You don't say, I go to church. You say, just stay around. Your workplace is the place where your resurrection power should show forth. Let them know you go to church. Say it aloud. You understand what I'm saying now? They will fear the jokes that they will make around you, right? How many of you have friends that you know you like them, but they make you— hey, hey, Will, you like them, but you But how many of you know that, you know? Can someone say amen? You know, you know, because some things they say, just don't see that, but you just sit down there, say, I didn't join them, I'm just on my own. But what are you doing there? Bible say come out from amongst them. He said, if your hand entice you, cut it off. To live the resurrection life, you must make people know on whose side you are. Tell them, I go to church, I'm excited about Jesus. And what happens is that they will fear the God in you. Amen. Does anybody have any other thing to ask?
Well, I think we already did.
Oh, you have something to say?
Oh yeah, and I repented, but I mean, it worked for you when you try to display that you're a Christian, then they try— a lot of times they try to, you know, take advantage of you. And I have to remind them, I haven't been a Christian all my life. I mean, I don't mean— I'm not trying to be bad, but I have to remind them, you know, I'm not—
I think I might think I'm a Christian.
Yes, that is powerful. That's powerful because No, she already said—
I don't think I got into my question. Some people think Christian people are too laid back, they are too soft, and everybody just want to— oh, it's a Christian party, don't worry. Oh, somebody has asked another question. Let me just take all the questions, then after that you just summarize.
If you let the people around you know your job, you know, everybody that you encounter know, and you live the life that you're a Christian, they will respect you for that. And they will come to you in a position that, oh, that's a Christian, I should not do that.
Okay, that's true. You owning them because they must see your character. And they say that body discipline is as well, is another thing because of being a Christian. Yeah, you're a Christian, but you also have to be discipline. Because when they see that discipline in you, then they know that, oh, this brother is a Christian, but let me not mess with him because it will give it back to me in a Christian way.
Because sometimes people want to disrespect your walk with God. One time Years ago in our church in California, we had this brother that would come and harass the sisters, harass the sisters, shake them, shake them. Because at that time in California, we were always doing Holy Ghost move. So I was like operating the ministry of the Holy Spirit, people fall down and cry. I was very gentle. So the guy would harass the sisters, harass the sisters, and be aggressive to them. Then we had a brother who was in our church He used to come to church with gun in his car or his pocket because of his work, you know. I didn't know until I hugged him one day and saw the holster. Because in California, there's no gun. They don't carry guns. California is illegal, unlike Texas. So I hugged him, I said, "Brother, what's going on here?" And I'm already anointed with those properties. And he was a singer, he was the lead worship brother. So that day, the man will come and harass the people, and I will talk to him, talk to him nicely, talk to him nicely. He will do it again. Then one Sunday, let me borrow from Sister Lee's book. So I told that guy to hug him and then you see him and bring him outside. And I went straight to his ear and I changed my voice and I said to him, Jesus Christ told us to draw the sword. And I'm not playing now. If you attempt any attempt to attempt to attempt an attempt, all right, attempt anything, I promise you, I promise you. Now pull back and look at him and say, it's over. I want to— I want to make sure that the breath come— then there was no COVID, so the breath coming out of my nostrils, he could feel it. That I had reached my limit, and I told him if he's born of a man or a woman, he should come to church. The guy moved out of the city completely. Do you understand? Sometimes people think because you are Christian, you are weak. Tell them Like this is, like you said, this is the line. I respect God, I respect men, but I disrespect people that cross the boundary. Stay on your side. Amen. And you say nicely, you know, you can say some things in a laugh, in a joking way, the kind of laugh that I cannot remember. They're getting straight, right? So don't let anybody make you feel that you are weak. Amen. Even your children, don't shout too much, just laugh prophetic laughter 3 times.
Cross the line.
Amen. Amen.
Is there any other question? Any other question? I think what we're trying to do is to summarize everything so that after that we go for tea break, then come back for the offering. Amen.
How many of you are blessed this morning by the resurrection life? It's simple. Find what God is saying. Put it inside of your head, see it every day. Obviously, there are life to them that find it. But the problem is that— look at everybody— the problem is that you are not writing. Use your digital device to document it, but have a journal that you can reference to. Am I right? Are you listening to me? Write it down, piece of paper, or take the audio, transcribe it. Be diligent, be diligent. Write it, all God is saying. Put it, print it close to your fridge, places in your house. See it every day. Let it become the image that goes inside of you. Somebody asked me, Prophet, how— what do you— how many of you— how many of you know what to do when you want— how many of you know what to do when you want to pray for some— how many of you pray? I mean, you know that just open your mouth is not prayer. The word of God must be in your mind, meditating on it before you speak it. Is he as a man thinketh, so is he. So from today, if you are single and you desire— so why is this man always saying single, single, single? I know God has anointed some people to be single, that's all right, but some people need helpers. Am I talking? Yes, yes, yes. Some people need wives, not knives. That's right, that's right. Husband, not men beaters. Yes, respect respectable men. Yes, quality men. Qualified men. Don't— women, don't greet anyone that says hello to you. Don't listen to the man. Qualified the man. Can he keep your level? Can he maintain the quality of dress you are wearing? Check out his car. Because if his car is less than yours, he can discourage you from Trust God. Put it in your mind. You know what you want, who you are. Speak it out. Am I talking to somebody? That is the key. And when you practice these things, precept upon precept, line upon line, great things happen in your life. Amen. How many of you are going to leave this place and be a world changer? Amen. Hallelujah. How many of you are going to leave this place and do something meaningful with your life? Just start it today. When you go home, stop by the $1 store, get a journal, write it, put it there. Don't print it. Do not print it. Let your writing— how many of you, how many of you have terrible writings? How many of you write things only you can see? Really? Right. Do you know it's prophetic? Yeah, you are hiding it from the eyes of the wicked.
But I thought in Africa it's only doctors that have those kind of—
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. That's what— see, people that write everything for people to read, it's not Well, that's wonderful. Grow up, even till now, doctors, they just say take you to the hospital, to the pharmacist. You look at it, look at it, look at it, look at it, you don't even know what is there. Write your dreams on a paper, right? Put it on the wall, keep it down and practice these things. God open doors for you. How much your car? How much you owe that car? How much? How many of you know how much is paid? Oh, call them every month. How much is it? How much is it? How much is it? How much? Hello? Why? Because if you don't pay, they'll call you. If you don't pay the question, you pay, call them. How much is left? These are laws that govern things. Tell them I'm going to pay, I'm going to try and pay up. I'm just, you know, step up your faith to try for more. Hallelujah! If you stay in a one-bedroom house, you don't like it, Don't sit at home after church on Sunday. Go look at houses. Take some pictures. Lie on the bed, take the pictures, right? And begin to dream big, and God will bring it to pass. I don't want anybody in this ministry to remain the way— the same way they are. Amen. I need a better amen. How many of you are going to strive for the best? I have a $100 note that is in my bag, and I value that $100 note so much. It's the best money in my life because it's photocopied. Every time I go to my office, I open it. It excites me. If it excites me, that I'm so rich that money is hiding everywhere in my house. My mind does not know if it's photocopy, just knows the $6 sign. Are you listening to me? Print it out, put it by your house. Money follow you, the atmosphere of money. Am I talking to somebody? Yes. Make sure that your wallet doesn't lack $100. You don't have it, photocopy and put in your wallet. Every time you open, your faith rises. Am I talking to somebody? Don't let your life see scarcity. Do not allow it. When you open your wallet, pull out $100, look at it and just get excited. Why? I still have $100. Bring out a million. I still have a million. Faith is born in Jesus' name.
Okay, uh, I think the next item is, uh, but we have one more thing. Uh, last week you guys got also God for your anniversary. So we have some drinks to make a toast, you know, to celebrate you guys, you and Pastor Vivian's wedding anniversary. So I think we're going to drink something. Oh, okay, they said they can call the tea break, so we just do everything together because the time is already gone. Interesting. I'm sorry about that.
At least my mind is not as fast as my mouth.
Okay, we are going for tea break right now. No, no, no, no, no. Okay, last week you guys got to forget about the wedding anniversary that Pastor shared. So yeah, we tried to arrange something in order to celebrate, you know, and yeah, it's all celebration because everybody brought something. In order to celebrate you guys. So interesting.
