The speaker teaches how to recognize God's voice about your assignment, using Joshua 1 as the foundation. God speaks in specific places and ways, and your assignment must align with your spiritual leader's direction, not just your own desires or second-hand revelations.

Ask God for life, ask God for life, ask God for life. For his anointing, for his power, for his glory. In the name of Jesus, can I have a better amen?
Hallelujah!
Thank you, Father. This is the assignment college, class 5. Hallelujah! How many of you remember the class 1? Hallelujah! Class 1, I think you said hallelujah. Class 1 was what is your assignment. We dealt with that. Hallelujah! We also dealt with class 2. Amen. Class 1 was how to find your assignment, know your assignment. Class 2 was your assignment is now. Hallelujah! Your assignment is now. Remember that? What is your assignment? Hallelujah! Your assignment is a step-by-step approach to achieving a success, succeeding in your assignment using the book of Joshua. Hallelujah! Thank you, Father, in the name of Jesus. Stephanie, hallelujah! This part 2 is that your assignment is now Your assignment is not— number 3 is that when to start your assignment. Number 4 is that your assignment requires serving seriously. We talked about that. Hallelujah. That's today's class, is your assignment requires God's voice. Your assignment requires God's voice. Anything that God wants you to do, anything that God has assigned you to do, any dream, any passion that you have, any work that you want to achieve for God requires the voice of God. Requires the voice of God. The voice of God is required. Hallelujah! In the pursuit of what God wants you to do, you You don't just do things anyhow. It requires— hallelujah— it requires you to have God's voice. Now this is my question for you: what was the last word God gave you concerning the assignment? What was the last word God gave you? What was the last word God gave you concerning your assignment? What is the last word God gave you concerning your assignment? What is the last word God gave you concerning your assignment? Hallelujah! Did God speak to you? Hallelujah! It's important to know that God's voice releases the signal for your assignment. It is God's voice that authenticates what God has called you to do. If there's no voice of God in what he has assigned you to do. If you're not hearing the voice of God, that assignment is not legit. God's voice— sickness, release of your assignment. God's voice— the thing that God wants you to do, the ushering department, the singing department, the children's department, the prayer department, financial department. God's voice is required. God's voice is the release of the signal that God has called you to do what he has called you to do. It has nothing to do with what you feel, what you like, what you want, what is available, what you can do. God spoke to Joshua 7 times in the Book of Joshua. Hallelujah! And the Lord said to Joshua 10 times You'll find in the book of Joshua God said— The Lord said, the Lord said, the Lord said, the Lord said, the Lord said 10 times in the book of Joshua. What is God speaking to you? What is God speaking to you? What is God saying to you? What is God saying to you? 10 times you will hear it. You see when in the book of Joshua where you hear the Lord saying, the Lord said to Joshua, the Lord said to Joshua, the Lord said to Joshua. Hallelujah! Very important that every assignment, every assignment has a different voice. What God tells you and what God is telling somebody in that, in your department, might be different. So do not listen to what somebody else is saying. Concerning what God has said to you. Even though you are in the same department, you are in the same ministry, there is a separate voice for everyone within where God has called them. Hallelujah! Can I have an amen? Don't let anyone tell you what they have said, what God told them. And remember that every word that somebody else tells you should be a confirmation, or else it's a confusion. Never take a secondhand word from somebody. It must confirm what God is already telling you, what is missing, what is messed up around you in your life. Very important. The sermon has its different voice. God changed his communication pattern when he came to Joshua, and Joshua knew it. Do you know when God is speaking? When the voice of God is calm, when there's a force in the voice of God, you must know the different tonation that God is speaking with. Get up and pray. And this time to pray is different. Every time and every season, there could be a change in the tonation of God. God has a voice. There's something he has called you to do. Do you know the pattern of God's communication with you? Some of you, it's when you're in the bathroom. Some of you when it's in the car, some of you when you're in the restroom, some of you when you're in the place of prayer. God has not just pattern but places in communication with you. Can I say that again? God's voice might be different in pattern and in places. So how many of you hear God's voice when you're in the bathroom when you're alone? How many of you struggle to hear God's voice when everybody is around you? How many of you struggle to hear? I said about it a couple of days ago that the reason why God is not speaking to you in your bedroom is because it's too cluttered, too full of things. It's distracting your, your natural self to connect to God's Spirit. Very important. Those shoes, those clothes, everything in your bedroom is hindering your connection with God. So there are places where God speaks to you the strongest. Are you listening to me? And there are patterns in which God speaks to you. Hallelujah! Do you know the pattern? Or do you know the place? Do you know the pattern? Do you know the place? Do you know the pattern? And do you know the place? Some of you, when you are lying down on your bed, some of you, when you are singing, you begin to hear God's voice. Some of you, when you are angry— how many of you know that when some of you, when you're angry, you don't hear God's voice? You hear your voice. Slap, shout, get angry, disrespect, right? So there are places also and patterns in which the devil speaks to you. He speaks— he's not going to speak to you when you are on fire, when you are fasting, right? Some of you, anger is the a demagnetizing force in your work with God. Once you get angry, Satan demagnetizes your anointing, demagnetizes you from God. Hallelujah! Now my question is that God spoke— listen to this, let's look at pattern and places. God spoke to Moses face to face, and God said to Moses, come and meet with me. But when he came to Joshua, he said, go, go over this Jordan, go over this Jordan. But Moses said, come. He pulled Moses, right? But like Joshua, he released Joshua. But if some of you were like Moses, you would have wanted God to take you up to the mountain where he took Moses to. But that's not your communication pattern when it comes to the work that God has called you. So everybody has their communication pattern and communication places. He said to Moses, come up, right? Some of you, if you are Joshua, you have asked God, God, when am I coming up? When am I coming up to the mountain? No, everybody has their place and their pattern in which God speaks to them in what they have called them, he has called them to do. Find it. Hallelujah. So it's important to understand that each session of your life, of your assignment, God might change his voice. We're still in Joshua chapter 1, that's why he's using— Hallelujah. In every season, God might tell you, worship me in this season. Hallelujah! Every season has a voice. Are you listening to me? Every season, every season has a voice. Know it, know it, know it. When you're a leader, when you're in a department, there's a important to know when somebody is trying to push you. Because one of the greatest places the enemy fights is in the partners, in places within the church that God anoints you to take over, to do. People begin to want to pull you down, push you away. So it's important that you hear God's voice in the assignment that God has called you to do. Now the question is, how do I hear my— how do I hear the voice of God in my assignment? Remember that if God is really speaking to you He's going to be speaking the same language that God is speaking to your leader. Do you hear your leader's voice? Do you hear your leader's voice?
That's the key.
Do you know what— when God is speaking to your leader and what he's saying to the leader even before he speaks to you? Finding God's voice for your assignment is the marriage that produces fulfillment in your life. Do you hear God's voice? Do you know what is needed? Do you hear the heart of your leader? Are you in tune with the frequency? Are you in tune with the tonation? Are you in tune with the utterance? Are you in tune with what God is telling him? You have to hear. That's why you're fulfilled. Oh, I'm not fulfilled. I don't feel fulfilled in the ministry, in the church that I am. I don't feel fulfilled. I don't feel this is my place. Because you're not listening to the voice of the leader. God is saying to the leader, let's pray, but you are saying let's fast. God is saying to the leader, let's study, you are saying let's pray. You always have your own assignment. You're not in tune with what is required where you are. God can— God cannot speak to you anything contrary to what is telling your set man, or else you are setting yourself up for failure. Hallelujah! Thank you, Father. Are you there? Hallelujah! God is speaking. God is speaking to somebody here. Look at this. The voice of God is what you want to hear because that's what your leader is listening to. Am I talking to somebody?
Hallelujah!
The voice of God is what you want to hear. A lot of times we're not in the place of hearing what God is saying because we are restless and we want God to speak. We're restless, we're so restless. God is not speaking, God is not speaking, God is not speaking. The last time he spoke, did you hear? The last time he spoke, did you hear? Hallelujah! God wants to speak, God wants to speak. A lot of times people want God to speak. God wants to speak to me, God speak to me. He spoke to you the last time. He told you what to do in the ministry. He told you what to do. He said bring cupcakes. He said bring ice, bring water, but you want to bring juice and everybody to know because you have extra juice you bought from Costco and you want to force the church to have the drink that you bought from Costco. But God is saying coffee. You said, you know what, I want Coke. I want to give Coke. God said coffee. How many of you are like that sometimes? You know you have extra cases of water, but God is telling you that it's not water. Hello, they tell you to buy the disinfectant or detergent, but you say, you know what, I think Prophet, I think I'm seeing it led that God is saying that I should bring water. No, you are looking for how to take the water out of your house and dump it in the church. One time, a sister said to me, I feel in my spirit that this room needs, needs, needs frame. I feel, Prophet, this room needs frame. I don't like the way it was. I'm led. I said, it's all right. Then she pulled over with some old frames and posters and all of that. I told her, Sister, this one you need to donate them to Salvation Army. Hallelujah! Some people want to give you what they think you need. Hello? What they think you need, not what God wants them to do for you. It's important that you are in the place where you are hearing what God needs done.
Can I have an amen?
Look and see how God addresses Joshua. Look, this is how God addresses Joshua. Joshua chapter 1, he said, Joshua, Moses' servant. Do you see that? Do you see that? Joshua chapter 1. You want to read that? Joshua chapter 1. Yeah, somebody help me.
After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying, Moses my servant is dead. Yes. Now therefore arise.
Yes.
Go over this Jordan, and you and all this people to the land which I have given to them, the children of Israel.
Come on, go back, start again, start again. Okay, start from where? Start from all over again. All of it? Yeah.
After the death of Moses, the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua, hold fast.
The servant of who? Can I help? What did he say there? The sound of who? Okay, this assistant. Okay, the assistant. One translation says assistant, one translation servant, right? Look at me. Now this is my question: how can God speak to you in the ministry that you are in when you're not assisting your Moses? So one of the reasons why people don't hear what God is saying is because You're not in line when the angel of the Lord comes to speak to your prophet, to your pastor. So are you listening? So for you, how many of you, how many of you know FM and AM?
Yes.
How many of you know that if you're on AM, you don't know what's happening on FM, right? Right. So if some of you are on FM 3263, right, and there's a praise— I was looking at a Black African station yesterday I didn't know there was a Christian Black African Christian station. I think it's 92, and I liked it. I really did, because I could, I could feel their communication language. I could feel the struggles that— because on the other station, they were not advertising, um, for people with bad credit, because everybody on that, on that station, they are raising money every hour, every hour. But on this station, there's advert for people
