Hesed Ojieh argues that Satan orchestrates major setbacks right before spiritual breakthroughs. He points to Jesus praying in Gethsemane and Peter's denial as examples, noting that Peter failed to pray for himself even as Jesus prayed for him. The message: stay vigilant in prayer before your rise.
while you're down? No, because Satan knows it's a law that at the— the day before your rising will be your greatest fall. Satan, he doesn't fight you strong until the last moment of your breakthrough. Jesus was in Gethsemane praying. He said, Peter, come and pray with me because Satan wants you. Now Peter did not pray with Jesus, but Jesus prayed for Peter. Are you there? So because Jesus prayed for Peter and Peter didn't pray— see, I can prophesy for you now till tomorrow, but the fight is your fight. Peter prayed for himself? No. And the Bible said after the morning, he denied Jesus Christ 3 times. So the battle was because Peter was going to preach in Acts chapter 2, and 3,000 people will be saved. So devil wanted to discredit Peter.
