Foreign with Abby and Holly. Welcome to the YouTube channel. It's been a minute since we have posted a cooking video, and tonight we are going to be making brisket soup. Here's the thing about brisket soup. It is literally a soup made up of leftovers. And I'm going to show you tonight that we're going to have this soup completely done in 30 minutes. So, Abs, your dad is downstairs. It's 6:29 right now. I want you to text him and tell him dinner will be ready in 30 minutes. Here's what we're doing tonight. I have some leftover brisket. You can do this with shredded pork, barbecue chicken, rotisserie chicken. Doesn't matter. Whatever you have. So tonight we're going to start with beef broth. And then we got some leftover brisket. And then I also had some leftover collards. Ew. Leftover collard green. We've got some tomato paste, a tiny little can of lima beans that I had, some leftover sweet potatoes, and some already peeled garlic because I'm lazy. And then our key secret ingredient is gonna be barbecue sauce. I like this mustard based one and this zero sugar one. Just, you know, my bad. It's healthier, I think. I don't know. These are the ingredients I'm using. You can literally use whatever you have. Sometimes I use pinto beans. Sometimes I use corn. Oh, I found some spaghetti squash in my freezer that I had made. Sometimes if I have a squash or a zucchini, I'll chop that up and put it in here. Whatever you have, it's gonna be delicious. We've got beef broth going here. I'm gonna add some water. And we've got some garlic. Oh, my gosh, this thing is leaking. All right, let's chop some of this biscuit up. All right, so we've got our. All right, so we've got our beef broth, our garlic, our chopped up brisket. Let's add some tomato paste. All right, I'm gonna do about a big scoop and a little scoop. This is not a good cooking day for me. Mom, what are you doing? Look. All right, here's some leftover roasted sweet potatoes. Salt, pepper. Too much. That's good. Oh, why so much pepper? Onion powder. Because my husband doesn't like onion. You can put normal onions in if he would like to. No, he doesn't. Patty doesn't like. No, no, not you. Them. Oh, the viewer, the viewers. This is a little bit of spaghetti squash that I had cooked and had leftover. It's very col giving you funny noise. Ah, my hands are cold. Time for the secret ingredient barbecue sauce. Just a little bit. It's probably like a fourth a cup. If you have to measure. That's probably like a couple tablespoons. All right. We'll put a little bit of these collard greens in. Okay. We're bringing it to a boil, and then we're going to taste it. I'm going to give it a taste. Yum. Dinner's done. It is 6:55 and our dinner is done.
