In my experience, God does not need me to be a certain way in order for me to hear him speak. But he does not shout and he does not compete with all the other things that I have going on in my life. And for me, the biggest hindrance to my relationship with God is my schedule. When my life is is busy and hurried and rushed, I have no space for God to speak to me. I have no time for God to speak to me. Can you give him your attention?
