Do You Know Your Dad? | Holly Furtick

A short family YouTube video (Father's Day special) in which Holly Furtick quizzes her children—Graham, Abby, and Elijah—about their father, Steven Furtick, to see who knows him best. The transcript contains multiple-choice and open-ended quiz questions (birth year, number of sermons, favorite snack/band/movie, biggest fear), short anecdotes about father–child moments, and each child giving a one-word descriptor of their dad. The video closes with a collective Father's Day greeting.

What's up, guys? Welcome back to the Holly Frittic YouTube channel.
You can read off your script.
Well, hey, guys, it's Father's Day here, and one of the kids that. What? Hey, guys, it's Father's Day here, and one of the things that my kids ask me all the time is, am I your favorite? So, as we celebrate Father's Day, we wanted to celebrate our favorite father, Steven Furtick.
My favorite father is God, actually.
So we're gonna celebrate Steven Furtick, our favorite earthly f. And we're gonna find out which of his kids is actually his favorite. And the way that we're gonna determine this is by seeing which one of them knows their father the best. Are you guys ready?
Let's go. Yes.
I was born ready.
First question. And. Yeah, keep your boards and your eyes on your own paper. First question. How old is your dad? One, two, three. Good job. Everybody gets a point. Okay. All right, next question. What year was your father born?
Ooh, I know this. I know this. I know this.
1, 2, 3. 1980. Good job. Would you say that your dad is a morning person or a night person?
Is there a right answer to this?
We're going by my answers.
Okay.
One, two, three. Well, I put that your dad is a night person.
He goes to, like, 9. He goes to bed at, like, 9pm and they watch a show. A night person is someone who, like, goes out and parties.
Okay, 100 of morning. Her answer was wrong.
You all got it right.
She got it wrong.
All right, this one is going to be multiple choice. Okay. How many sermons has your dad preached at elevation?
We're supposed to know this.
It'd be multiple choice. A, 297. B, 561. C, 723. Abby, do not cheat.
I'm not cheating.
All right, let's see it. Reveal. The correct answer is B.561.
No way.
Way.
15 years, 365 days in a year.
You're wrong.
I'm not wrong.
He preaches, like, once a week.
How many diet sodas does your dad drink in a day? Reveal.
Can't put a range of numbers.
Okay, Graham says 15 to 20. Elijah says 20, and Abby says 17 to 20.
Abby looked at my board.
You looked at his board?
Abby? No.
Yes, I watched.
I always average a dozen. What is your dad's biggest fear? A. Oh, no, no, no.
Don't win.
No, no, no.
Not multiple choice.
I want multiple choice.
No, I want multiple choices.
You kill our ability to be like. No, no, no, no, no, no.
I don't know. Can you give me the options? No, they don't have to hear the options.
But I would like to hear the options.
Okay, so for Mona said not being able to see why she's going first. Wait, not being able to go to the bathroom in a public. Is that right?
Abby, what did you put?
Soda cans top.
Oh, my God.
Oh, that.
Cause you know, Abby, how when we're cooking, how dad every time we're using a knife, he's always like, oh, baby, be careful.
Every time. Every time we go to open a soda, he's like. He's like, be careful. One time I saw a guy cut his tongue off with the top of a soda can.
Why are you making your dad sound like that? Okay, but I actually think Elijah and Graham are the most right. That is his biggest fear. What is your dad's favorite snack?
I don't know how to spell it.
And you have the wrong snack.
I put 1, 2, 3.
Quest.
Cookies.
Peanuts. Yeah, I'll take one for the team. I didn't get it right. Okay, I'm winning.
Who is your dad's favorite musician? Okay.
I put Kurt and Axel.
Okay. Yeah, Good. Abby.
I spelled it wrong, too.
I said John Mayer or Kirk.
Kirk Franklin.
His name is Kurt.
Kurt. I meant to take.
It's.
Oh, it's funny.
And grandpa John Mayer. And Kurt Cobain. I put Kurt Cobain. Let's go, all of you.
All of you. Got it. Well, I was the most right, because I also put Axel.
Who is your dad's favorite band? Favorite band. Sporty kids know their dad really well. Guns n Roses.
I put two Guns N Roses.
Nirvana. Slash. Guns N Roses.
And Abby Navona and Guns N Roses.
Well, show us your thing.
Well, I'm still writing.
What's your dad's favorite movie?
Stop playing.
Easy.
Abby's gonna go first this time. Turn it all the way around so the camera can see. Abby put the Little Mermaid.
I'll give her points for.
That's a strong answer because.
Because he had a crush. He had a crush on when he was a little kid.
So that is his favorite cartoon. Graham's gonna go next. Hold it. Turn it around so people can see. All right, Graham's got Metallica. Some Kind of Monster. Some Kind of Monster. There Will Be Blood. Shawshank. Solid answers. Although, you guys, I put Rocky 4.
That's a bad answer.
That's not his favorite movie.
And remember the Titans?
Oh, that is one of his favorite.
Those are movies that he likes. Not his favorite movie.
I don't think any of us got it right.
I don't think mom knows that.
Well, he's not my father. Now I have a serious question for you.
Okay.
Okay. What is your favorite sermon that your dad has ever preached?
I said the one like a couple weeks ago about quitting.
Too grown to give up. Parentheses with benefits. Cause that was my favorite part.
I said what you call small because, I don't know, it just kind of like related to me.
What is one word that you would use to describe your dad? You can only have one word. All right? Your word is consistent. And why?
I don't know. He's just a consistent guy.
Consistent in the way that he lives his. I think that's a great one. Grim. Alright, Abs, what you got? Perfectionist.
Tell us why he just likes everything to be like perfect. I mean, that's basically the definition of perfectionist.
I said genius. Cause he's just a genius. Like if you just listen to the sermons, listen to the songs. Like, come on, what are you gonna tell me? You can't tell me otherwise.
Okay, last question, guys. What is one of your favorite moments with your dad? Okay, Hamilton, tell us about it.
So I liked it because we had a really fun adventure. Not even just going to see the play, but it was just us and it was kind of like a. Like a last minute thing. And like we, like the restaurant we were gonna eat at was too crowded to eat at. Like wait 45 minutes after we were done eating to get into the play. And then like all the technology in the restaurant we ate dinner at was broken. So they were doing everything.
Graham, you want to go next?
What else?
Little. We went to this night, like at the old Charlotte Knights Stadium. And there was just us and there's these guys and they're like yelling at all the players. And then they called this one guy, Dan the Man. And then my dad started calling me Graham the Man.
That's how he started calling you Graham the Man.
All right, Elijah, I said listening to Hour of Power. I don't know if that's like my favorite moment, but it's just a moment. Like because we used to like when we were on vacation one time for like two weeks, we would like wake up at like super early and listen to Tony Robbins. Hour of Power. Shout out to Tony Robbins.
And how old, how old were you?
That's awesome.
All right, all right, that's a wrap. All right, that's a wrap. Hopefully y' all enjoyed this video. Happy Father's Day, dad. Shout out to you. I love you.
Can we say it all together.
Yeah.
Happy Father's Day, dad.
We love you.
That's kind of right.
Happy Father's Day, dad. We love you.
Love you.
