A short YouTube cooking tutorial by Holly Furtick (with a second speaker) demonstrating an easy bagel-balls recipe for National Bagel Day. The recipe is adapted from SkimmyTaste and uses simple ingredients (self-rising flour and plain yogurt) to make a quick dough, filled with cream cheese, brushed with melted butter (or egg white for a lighter option), topped with sesame or "everything but the bagel" seasoning, and cooked either in an air fryer (325°F for ~12 minutes) or an oven (375°F for ~25 minutes). The video includes ingredient amounts, step-by-step forming/filling guidance, and tasting/closing remarks.

Look at the flour in your scrunchie. I wouldn't recommend wearing a scrunchie while you're making bagel balls. Hey everyone. Welcome to The Holly Furtick YouTube channel. And today we're going to be sharing a recipe with you.
Happy National Bagel Day.
It's National Bagel Day, so we are making bagel balls. Bagel balls, super easy. Anytime I share a recipe on my YouTube channel, I want it to be something easy. Something that anyone can do. Anyone can do. Even a kid.
Even a kid.
So we're making bagel balls today, which I love. I remember being a kid and going to a bagel shop with my mom and they had bagel balls and they're just bagels filled with cream cheese already. And they are my favorite. I got this basic recipe from a website called Skimmy Taste. We made a couple of changes but anyway, tell them what we need.
So you need self rising flour.
1 cup of self rising flour.
You're gonna need yogurt, non flavored. You're also going to need cream cheese. You can have any flavor of cream cheese. We just went with the classic. But we did strawberry last time.
One time we did strawberry and then.
There'S everything but the bagel.
Sesame seeds.
These are delicious.
So we're gonna do one cup of flour. Oh, and tell us what are we making this in?
Oh, a bowl.
We're cooking it in our air fryer. We're cooking this in our air fryer. You don't have to have an air fryer if you're cooking it in your oven. You wanna preheat your 325. Abby, you can't lick and it's so good. You just, you can't. It's dirty. So we're gonna do a cup of flour. We're gonna do a cup of yogurt.
I always found unsure yogurt. So disgusting.
Okay, it just looks good. I've got a full cup of yogurt, cup of self rising flour. This is the dough. It's all you need for the dough. Not so fast. You take a little bit of. Gonna put it down on the counter.
So that it doesn't stick and I'm gonna put it on top of where you just stick.
Hold on, hold on. All right, we got a ball of dough. First we're gonna taste the dough.
Yeah.
Mmm. Tastes delicious.
All right, so next we're gonna need a cookie sheet.
Okay, so I'm taking my cream cheese and I' it into little squares so that we can. We're going to put it in the middle of the bagels. We put a little bit of flour in this cup. Because one of the keys to not making a mess with this recipe is to keep the flour on your hands. You're going to grab a little pinch, and you're going to take the dough and you're going to kind of pat it. If you need more flour in your hands, it's okay. I'm going to just pat it into, like, a little pancake like that. Then you're gonna take a little clump of the cream cheese, put it in the middle, and then I'm gonna close, close it up.
Can't squeeze my hands to a pancake.
It keeps squeezing. Got a ball? I'm making a huge mess. It's all over your scrunchie. Look at the flour in your scrunchie. I wouldn't recommend using wearing a scrunchie while you making bagel balls. If you want the healthier version, you're going to baste these with egg white. But I thought butter would taste better.
Well, we are, but. We are.
Anyway, I found my baster. So this is just 2 tablespoons of melted butter. And we're just going to based on top, and then, no, you sprinkle the seasoning. All right, so if you're cooking in your air fryer, you want to spray your basket. If not, you want to spray your pan. And then we're just going to load these guys up. We've got them all loaded up.
Whoops.
I'm going to put these in my air fryer for about 12 minutes at 325. If you're going to cook them in your oven, you're going to put it at 375 for about 25. So here we go.
So our bagel balls are done, finished, and they look heavenly.
Mmm, let's hope not. Hold on. Let's tilt the camera down. Now we're ready to taste.
Mmm.
What do you think?
It's delicious.
Delicious. Happy National Bagel Day.
