Hi, people.
Happy fall.
Happy fall.
Today we are going to make a tried and true recipe in the Furtichaus pumpkin bread. Pumpkin bread. Now, I found this recipe in Southern Living magazine probably about 20 years ago, and I have been making it every fall. It's delicious. Some pumpkin bread can be a little too spicy to me. Not spicy, like hot.
Too, like too much.
No, not pumpkin spice. Too much spice. Like clove and allspice and all of those. So the thing I love about this pumpkin red is the only spices that it has is nutmeg and cinnamon and salt and then also a little cinnamon sugar that we're going to put on it as well. So we're just going to dump everything in. I'm not going to do like wet and. And dry. We're just going to throw it all in.
All right.
Okay, Abs, we need three cups of sugar. Okay.
So I am assuming that Mom. Mother is going to forget to tell you to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. We already started it, so she might forget. So just in case she does, make sure to do that.
All right, three cups of sugar in our bowl. And I'm gonna do the eggs. We're gonna do four eggs. So we've got four eggs, three cups of sugar. We're gonna do one and a half teaspoons of salt.
Looks like a lot.
One and a half teaspoons of cinnamon.
There's our sugar.
All right, do flour.
How many?
Three and one third.
Three cups.
I don't think we're gonna need this, though. Three and one third. One cup of oil.
Wait, I lost count. That's two or three.
That was two.
That was two.
That was 2. I think Two thirds. Cup of water. 2 teaspoons of. 2 teaspoons of baking soda.
That's so easy to break. I dropped one the other day when you were making banana bread. All right.
And then one can of pumpkin. Yum. All right. So this recipe essentially makes three loaves. It's a really big recipe. So you can do three loaves or you can do these little mini loaf pans. Three of these. Typically, I will do two or three of these will equal one of these, depending on how full you want them to. We found these little things we're making. We're making some of this pumpkin bread for a few of Abby's teachers. So we're gonna do some little shout.
Out to Ms. Simpson, my math teacher. And Ms. Kofa, my writing teacher.
And how about your reading teacher?
Oh, yeah. And Ms. Morris, I was just doing. We wanted to see good elevation.
Oh, good.
Gotcha.
Gotcha. Okay, so we're gonna pour it into these little cupcakes.
Oh, and Ms. Pour, if you're watching.
This, I've got 12 muffin tins. I'm going to fill this, these up first, and then I'll decide what I'm going to do with my pans from here. One thing that I love to do is by Abby, take a little bit of. I've already mixed up some cinnamon and sugar, and I'm going to put it in the bottom. Now I'm gonna spoon this in. Here are our muffin tins. All right, These are gonna be good to pop in the oven. I'm gonna take this and I'm gonna sprinkle the cinnamon sugar all in the bottom of it. Now gonna shake more cinnamon sugar on top. We've got 12 muffins.
12 muffins.
That's your sleeve. We're giving these to people. Got 12 muffins, two loaves.
Look at this.
Yum. Dishes are done. This. These are too hot. Yeah, we'll try. We'll try this one. Pumpkin bread. Happy Fall.
Yum.
