A conversational YouTube cooking demo (Cooking with Abby) showing how to make sugar-free strawberry freezer jam. The presenters (Abby and a co-host) demonstrate chopping strawberries and list ingredients and approximate quantities: four cups diced strawberries, ~1 cup monk fruit sweetener, ~1 cup water, ~4 tablespoons lemon juice (about one lemon), and gelatin as the setting agent. They simmer the mixture (noted as ~20 minutes), then cool and place jars in the freezer (three jars) and one in the fridge. The tone is casual and playful; occasional unsanitary joking is present but the recipe procedure is clear.

So I'm cooking with Abby. We are making. Oh, this is Cooking With Abby today. This is Cooking With Abby. Okay. Today we are going to be making strawberry jam.
Strawberry freezer jam.
Same difference.
Not the same difference. Also sugar free strawberry freezer jam. So I can tell that you've been eating. Eating some of the strawberries.
Definitely.
There's, like. I don't know if the camera can see it. There's.
See the strawberry on your face.
Show me your hands. All right, so we can tell Abby's been cooking. And we know that cooking with Abby is not the most sanitary thing in the world, but that's okay because we're.
Going to cook these strawberries.
Also behind us, we're cooking dinner that.
Will be posted on the YouTube channel as well.
Maybe, maybe not. Turkey chili with sweet potatoes. Never made it before.
Okay, so. So that's besides the point. So anyways. Okay, so what you're gonna do is you're gonna get a bowl. We're gonna need four cups. So I recommend getting a measuring bowl. So you're gonna want to get a strawberry. This one's a big one, cut off the top. And this is my way of chopping. It may not be the most safe thing. Be careful with your nose.
I think I might need to supervise this.
And then you just go down. You just chop. There you go. And then you just put it in the cup. So you just keep doing that until you get to four cups.
Did you just dash on the strawberries?
Jeez.
It's called low carb, sugar free strawberry jam and basically.
Oh, hang on. Come in.
Come say hi.
Okay, so back to the point. I'm still chopping my strawberries while she's reading the recipe.
So all you need for this recipe is some strawberries. At least 8 ounces. If you want to make a small jar. We're doing four cups. So you need four cups of diced strawberries. You need about a cup of some kind of sweetener. We're going to use monk fruit sweetener. You need about a cup of water. And you need four tablespoons of lemon juice. Approximately one lemon. And then you're going to need some of this. This is the only thing that you probably don't have in your house that you're going to have to get at the grocery store.
Gelatin.
So the recipe calls for three, four of a tablespoon, but we're times four in this recipe. So we'll just.
We'll just.
I'll put the measurement down in what we actually put in ours. But really we can figure it out.
Right?
Tell us in the comments what other strawberry recipes you would like for us to make. So we've made strawberry bread. We've made the strawberry cake, which is really good. It has actual strawberries in it. Oh, we make strawberry shortcake. That is a very easy recipe.
And it's so good. We have strawberries.
Careful with this. She's mutilating the strawberries. But that's okay.
Huya.
Four cups.
Okay, guys, so the next thing we're gonna be doing is juicing a lemon.
You may also have noticed that Abby and I have on different clothes. And that's because it's been a day. It's been a day. Like it's actually been a day, not like it's been a day. We didn't have time to finish the strawberry jam last night, so we just color strawberries with cellophane. Pick it right back up where we left off.
That's half of the lemon. There we go. You get the batter. Make sure it's very precise.
Now I want you to stir that up.
This is going to be very satisfying. It's not as satisfying as I thought it would be, I'm not gonna lie.
So we're gonna add a cup of sweetener. We're using monk fruit sweetener. Go ahead and add that in.
Stir it in, stir it in.
Now we're gonna do one cup of water.
So we're gonna let it simmer for 20 minutes. Ain't nobody got time for that.
We let it simmer for 20 minutes and then we turn the heat down. Now we're gonna take this with our hands, we're gonna take this with our hand, put it, put it down, and with our hands we're just gonna like kinda. It's kinda messy, but we just wanna like kind of put.
How long do you let it sit after that?
Now we're gonna stir it up.
Whoops.
All right, let's put it in our jars. We have to get a bigger scoop thing up. That's good.
It's good. It's good.
Cause we're gonna freeze it. How does it taste?
Delicious. For somebody who doesn't eat sugar free, it definitely doesn't taste sugar free. Whoa. Beautiful strawberry jam.
Well, guys, that's how you make strawberry freez. Let it cool on the counter. Then we're going to stick three of our jars in the freezer and one of our jars in the fridge. Simple ingredients. Water, gelatin, strawberries. And we use monk fruit sweetener. So ours is sugar free.
Yep.
What do you want to say to.
