Even mild hearing loss triples your fall risk, and it gets worse as hearing declines. Hearing aids restore awareness of your surroundings, from warnings to approaching cars, making you safer and more functional.

Let's talk about hearing loss and fall risk. What we know is that if someone has just a mild hearing loss, they have fall risk of 3 times higher. If their hearing loss gets worse, fall risk gets worse as well. And so what we know is that wearing hearing aids helps us to have that social awareness of if somebody's saying, "Hey, watch out," or if there's a sound around us, maybe a car going by, or, you know, trying to cross the street and being able to make sure that we feel safe with that. Everything is impacted by how well we hear. So what we want to do is make sure that if we treat our hearing loss, it will make us better, not break us.
