In this short devotional video, the speaker reflects on Luke 12:15, where Jesus warns, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed.” The speaker explains that greed is a deadly sin that elevates the desire for wealth, possessions, success, and status above God and others, effectively becoming idolatry that endangers the soul. The message emphasizes that true happiness does not stem from material accumulation but from a relationship with God. Listeners are urged to stop chasing wealth and instead prioritize a deep, personal connection with the Heavenly Father.

A Bible verse about money. Luke 12:15. Then he said, Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own. In this verse, Jesus warns us about greed and possessions. Greed is a deadly sin. It causes you to place your desire for wealth, possessions, success, and status above others and even God himself. When you choose to let greed consume you and start to pursue wealth and all other things in this world instead of God, that's idolatry, and you're putting your soul at risk. True happiness does not come from wealth or what we own, but from God. Let's not spend our whole lives chasing wealth and condemning ourselves. Instead, let's prioritize pursuing a relationship with our Heavenly Father.
