"The Wisdom That's In You" Jackie Senatore Interview

Coach Jackie Senatore teaches people to access their own wisdom by getting unstuck. She shares a three-step process: accept where you are, feel the stuck emotion in your body, and let it release. Her own 2016 Lyme disease, divorce, and bankruptcy shaped her approach to helping others find authenticity and new possibilities.

Senator, welcome to empowerment with tv.
Thank you. It's so nice to be here.
I am excited. Entv, you're seeing again three people on the screen. And the reason is quick, quick little thing is Steve Wright, who runs the managers that lead Facebook group. He's part of our catapult program, entv. So going forward, you'll be seeing me all this month, people shadowing me so that we're training up others to do interviews in the group as well. So that's why the lovely Steve that likes to salsa dance, Steve is here. Jackie, he totally salsa dances. He just posted a salsa dance video.
That's awesome.
Interviewing Jackie today, telling her story, what she does, why she does it. I'm fascinated to jump in. So Jackie, for first of all, for those that don't know you yet in ENTV, what would you do as a 30 second intro as to who you are, what you do, what you love, why you do it, and then we'll get into your story.
Yes. So long story short, I help people get unstuck. So if there's something they have a health challenge, a relationship challenge, they're stuck in some area of their life and they're throwing the kitchen sink at it. They've done all the reading, the holistic things, they keep trying to fix it or change it and it's not working. That's usually when people find me and I'm that person that helps, you know, kind of turn the engine and get that car started. Of what is this thing in your life? Whether it's a pain or whatever it is a financial thing, a block, what is it here trying to show you? Because until we get the message that something in our life has come into our life to interrupt it, to show us, we'll stay stuck. So I've developed a system and modalities and coaching to actually train people on how to tap into their own wisdom and get that answer. So usually during that Covid time and everybody was sort of defenseless of, of what do I do, how do I handle all of this? And that's when I really started to pivot and not only help people do it, but help people help themselves do it. So I give people ways and strategies on how can I be with this thing, these emotions and what can I do to understand why it's here.
Beautiful. Beautiful. As a kid, were you always inquisitive and curious and creative? What were you like?
Yes, I, I definitely was. I probably was much older soul than I, than I was in a little body of, of I have an eight year old. That's exactly like me now. So I'm kind of getting the payback of why is this? And asking these really big questions. But I actually had really bad anxiety growing up at different times in my life. And it wasn't until my twenties, when I was an actress on TV sets and different things, that I started to go down the path of like, why do I have this anxiety? And then I realized, or I learned that I'm just really energetically sensitive and I was picking up everybody else's energy. So if you were feeling something, I wouldn't know why I had this rush of energy. Now I know how to energetically separate from other people and no longer take on other people's stuff. So the anxiety went away.
Okay, you can't just tell us that and not give us one tip or how. Because a lot of people struggle with that and they would love to know. Jackie, what's your top tip for that?
Top tip for anxiety?
Well, for. For not letting someone else's stuff, me owning it. Right. And ruining my day. What do I do about that?
That's actually one of my main talks, how to not let somebody else's energy ruin your day. So I think if I had to give you one, top tip is as soon as we judge the other person for what they're doing or saying or being who they're being, it right away invites their energy in our space. As soon as we make something wrong and we put our attention on it and we say that's wrong, that's bad, we start to feel it. And so a simple, really simple shift that even if you don't do this work in a full extent, you can just say, you know what? That's not wrong, that's who they are. And you'll instantly feel a lightness come into your body. It's. As soon as we judge something, it creates what I like to call stop energy. It's. We're focused on it and we bring it into our space. Other people are doing things. Maybe you just have no idea. I went through a really big illness at a period of my life. And I remember nobody could tell, but I was suffering. And so from there I was. We just don't know. So when a boss says something shitty, we. We don't know why, what just happened. Maybe his kid is sick, maybe he's scared, maybe he's financially struggling. But we judge people of. And as soon as we judge them, we're in an incomplete. So our body will stop and be like, wait a minute, that's not the truth. And that's why we get the emotional feedback, the trigger, the charge, because we're not seeing the whole truth.
Jackie, I've done 400 interviews or more in the last year. I have never heard anyone say what you just said. They've said other things, but that is. That sounds like a brilliant way to circumvent because I can think of things that I would be tempted to be triggered by and judge political people that it's like it's as easy as falling down a hill to judge them. Because I think. I think I'm right. My ego thinks I'm right. And so you're telling me if I just don't judge them and go, I'm just not going to judge them and I'm not going to call it wrong. They're just being dumb. I will not take on that dis ease in my body and my emotions.
So I wish it was just the one step. That's probably the first and biggest step. And it'll give you relief and you'll get the experience of it. But then I would take people steps further of. We can, we can all think of a political person that a lot of people have opinions about. And when we say that's not wrong, it moves at least their energy out of our space. But then the reason it's showing up in our life is for ourself. So if I'm judging something else and somebody else and that person is whatever it is that my label is giving them, I'm actually unaware of where I to have that in my life. So it's there. People are actually guiding us to heal and love ourselves more. If I see someone angry everywhere, that person angry and that person's angry and that person's inconsiderate, I'm blinded to. Okay, wait, wait, wait, stop. Where do I have unresolved anger I'm not being with right now? And once. And once you heal that and you feel it and you allow yourself to be angry or sad, which we're avoiding, then we'll stop seeing these traits in other people.
We could end it right there. And you just gave us a master class. Yeah. Steve's clothing. Steve, what do you think of what, Jackie?
Just.
My. My microphone is on a stand, otherwise I would drop it. It's a, that's a. It's a mic drop moment. It's beautifully said and eloquently. Eloquently delivered. And there's. There's a lot in there that I resonate with and there's a lot in there to unpack. So this is awesome.
Thanks, Steve. Jackie, please keep going. So, okay, I steered you this way. Where do you want to go next, Jackie? I just want to pull, I want to pull that out of you because I felt it was there. So what do you want to talk about next?
I mean, I think what he just said is like all of us are human beings. We all relate to this. And I think the biggest thing or my biggest mission is for people to know that where they're at is perfect. Where they're at is fine. We're all human beings and living in these experiences and it's just we're hard on ourselves and we're judging ourselves and we drop our energy and we're all living at a lower vibration when really it's what I see in you is in me and what everything is is guiding us towards something. And the more we allow this and the more we give ourselves permission to be who we are, so much disease heals, our relationships improve because I no longer have to be perfect. You don't have to be perfect. We can sit here and chat or eat a sandwich or whatever it is and both love ourselves for the imperfect beings that we are. And life just gets so much easier. It's only painful when we're trying to be something other than what we are. And for whoever's listening to this, it's like right now you're suffering is because you're judging your job, you're judging your health, you're judging somewhere you are as wrong. And if you heal that and you give yourself permission, your headaches will go away, you'll feel better, you'll have more energy. Life. Just as he says, mic drop opens up so much better.
Okay. Such confidence comes from somewhere. Jackie. What?
Yes.
What have you been through? Please? What's your story?
Yeah, I have a pretty in depth story, but I just got off. I told you before we press play here of I, I, I just coach, I coach a wide range of people and I watch people have these breakthroughs one after another after another. And it's a very simple system that people when they do it, they get these transformative experiences, they get these healings. So I think a lot of my confidence comes from cuz doing it for 15 years. But for my own stuff of overcoming my own challenges. In 2016, just to, just to pack it all in there for you. In 2016 I got bit by a tick, I got Lyme disease, I became almost debilitated. It was a life threatening illness. My husband at the time I had two small kids. I just had a baby. He divorced me and took me through a four year divorce trial for my kids led me into bankruptcy. So I. My life, sort of, my health, my relationship and my business hit the floor. And when it hit the floor, I had to go, I had to do something different. It wasn't my normal way of like, oh, we fix things. It was, what is this trying to show me? How is this trying to change me? And through healing all of those things, now I get to help hundreds into the thousands of people heal it and give themselves permission that just because I'm sick doesn't mean I'm wrong or bad. Just because I'm divorced, it's not shameful. Bankruptcy's not. It's all here showing you something. And that's what I have help people tap into also.
Steve, can you. What do you got? A. You have a question for Jackie? I know you want to ask her, so please, what do you got?
Just, just the, the, the. The. The story is incredible and I can certainly relate to parts of that. And your last comment in, in the sense that we. It's all here to show us something.
Yes.
That mindset shift from blaming things or blaming ourselves for things and then realizing that it's all here to show us something. Then you go into it with curiosity. You go into it with, with exploration, you go into it with possibility. And like I said, you, you expressed it beautifully. So I'm fired up. This is great.
You know, Steve, you. Yeah, Steve just hit it. He said when we blame ourselves or somebody else, that's where we stay stuck. He just got it. And when we don't do that and we're like, hey, wait a minute. This person isn't here triggering me because I'm just. They're just a bad person. They're here showing me something. And he said it with. We get curious. You start to ask a different question. That's when you get the answer and that's when you get the healing. That's exactly the path.
Okay, Jackie, let's talk about your business. Give us, give us the gritty details. Let's hear it.
So I have a free experience that I offer for people just to kind of get their toe wet with this work because it is an energetic work. It's called the energy shifter. And I can send you the link or it's Jackie Tori.com energy shifter. And that'll kind of give you an experience of what it feels like to clear your energy, to call your energy back, to get grounded, to put Your attention back on your body. So not on that person, not on that past experience, not on the future, but tap into what's here, right here, right now. And then I have all kinds of things, of different ways to work with me and coaching and groups. And I have a membership, that new membership launching in April that gets people to start to do this work. It's. It's really like working out. That's what I tell people this work is. It's like working out. Yes, you'll have small breakthroughs along the way, but when you do this on repetition, you start to become just so much stronger and, and you ride the waves of life instead of kind of getting knocked down by all of them as. As we go through it.
What do your clients tell you they love about you the most?
Ah, that's a good question that I have. I have a crazy amount of ability to hold space for all of it. So when people come to me with healing, abuse or trauma or whatever it is, I hold this container of space that allows people to heal because it's really not about what happened to someone. It's just permission to, hey, this is what happened, and now it's permission to heal it. And one of my clients always jokes, and she goes, and you talk about the most hardest, painful parts of life, and you do it in a playful way. So I bring humor sometimes to stuff that happens to us because when we take it serious, we're making it wrong. And. And stuff happens to all of us where we all could sit down and share a story of holy, you know, how life just handed it to us. And when we sit there and we kind of cheers over a coffee, it gives people so much more permission to heal really hard stuff and not have it to be, you know, I'm a broken person because this happened. It's like, really, we're all broken in some way and, and repeating it back together to become the next version. So cheers to our. Our brokenness, I think, is my. Is my skill set.
Written a book called Cheers to Our Brokenness. Have you written a book yet? No.
You know, I'm in the midst of writing a book right now.
What's it called?
I don't have it yet. I'm. I'm doing all like, the book things and outlining it and really getting clear on. Because there's so much that I can do with people. I want to give a simple path to people new to this work. And so I'm in the structuring process of how to put all of the stuff into A very simple, step by step, anyone can do. Because really, it is every single person that does this work. It's just an acceptance of themselves. It's, It's. It's life changing when we're. When we just don't judge where we're at.
Favorite testimonials, favorite client testimonials.
There's so. Thank you. There's so many. The one that comes to my mind now, and I tell her this all the time, is a woman that came to me because she couldn't get over a divorce. Her husband left her for a best friend, or she caught her husband cheating on her with her best friend. So she lost her best friend and she lost her husband. And she had a heart condition that she was working through. And so life was just massacring her and the. The way through it because she's like, it's been five years. Everything I've done, nobody's helping me. And the key for her was, is to give herself permission to be pissed off and to stop getting over it. Everyone kept saying, okay, this happened to me. I'm gonna get over it. I'm the best. Revenge is a happy life. And she kept wanting to get up. And I said, okay, fine, we'll get up. But for one day, I want you just to feel how incredibly pissed off you are and hurt and feel it. And don't put a timeline on it. And if you want to stay angry for a year, full permission to do it. Within two weeks of doing that, she not only had, like, this, like, lightness that came over her, she met someone new.
Her.
Her blood pressure stabilized. It was just the resistance towards, I'm supposed to be different than where I'm at. And no, sometimes life knocks us down.
Steve, you have something to say about that you want to say to Jackie?
There's a. There's a lot in there. I just. It's just interesting how sometimes we. We. We present. We present issues that are happening with us, and we see them as separate things. Not realizing that there's an underlying condition or there's an underlying factor to it and her being. It sounds so easy. Get over it. You're pissed off that. But it tied into her health. It tied into attracting relationships. It tied into her lightness and realizing that you can. You can have one pivotal thing affect a lot of aspects in your life. And, you know, like you say, your work, Your work, really, that dives into that. And that's powerful. So powerful.
I have. I have a dog barking here in the background. I don't Know if you can hear him, but no.
Zoom's got auto noise cancellation.
Oh, good. Good thing for Zoom, we have Jackie.
Where do you want to go next before we wrap? Let's. There's more. We want to extract more value because you have so much.
Yes, I, I have a simple three step process. Accept where you're at, take the judgment off of it. So for everybody listening, wherever you're judging right now is wrong or bad in your life of where you're at, if you just pause and remember this, of, I'm just for one day going to say it's not wrong where I'm at. It can't be wrong because it's where you are. Everything in life brought you to this moment. So we're going to, we're going to go first to acceptance and then we're going to go to what we feel in our body that we're stuck at this place where, what is it? What is the truth? The truth is I'm sad that I'm here. The truth is I'm angry and pissed off. Whatever it is that's under that stuckness, I just want you to be with it, with no judgment. So what that means is focus above it, below it, behind it, like, feel it, let yourself get really warm. Some people cry, some people laugh. You just want to stay with the energy until it finds its way out of your body. Usually it's in sweat, usually it leaves through your face. Usually you feel like it amplifies, like, oh my gosh, I can't take this anger anymore. But then once you still stay with it without making it wrong, it's going to leave. And once it leaves, you're going to get some wisdom that comes in and shows you something different that you never knew. It's people. People can say, you know, that was the worst thing that ever happened to me. And I, and I'm a testament for this of. Somebody would say, I got sick, my husband left me because I was sick. They didn't know if I was going to get better. And that's terrible. There's moments that I'm driving that I, I thank everything in the sky, stars, universe for having that happen. Because it really did happen for me. I became super strong. I don't care what people think anymore. It really brought me to, like the next level. And that was the, that was the gift and that was the wisdom. So wherever you're at, whatever it is, and I've been with people through really horrible things and coach them through it, just know that there's Wisdom, it's making you become who you are.
Steve, do you have a golden microphone you want to drop at this point?
I just wanted to say, I just wanted to say something that, that was. This whole interview has been totally awesome. And, and as you are painting that picture of, of letting go, being, being okay for me, the real power, I got chills from it in the sense that once you've let it go, you create a vacuum for things to come in and that now becomes a whole nother, a whole nother realm. You were holding that on not letting the vacuum be created to bring in the things that you want, you know, the partnership or the door or the health or whatever. So, yeah, I'm, yeah, I'm, I'm buzzing right now. This is.
Yes, you're next level. Steve's got some stuff to him, right? He knows he has some, he has some wisdom. Steve. That's exactly it. One of my clients for 20 years, she couldn't get a relationship. It just wasn't working out. And I kind of peeled and she was a medical doctor and we were peeling back those layers and turned out she had a shame thing from something that happened 20 years ago. She was just present with it, forgave it. That next day, seven o', clock, she messaged me, I just met someone. It really, our stuckness really does block our next level. And what keeps people stuck? If you're, if anybody's listening to this for the far. It's blame, blaming somebody else, blaming ourselves. It's not wrong. Show me the best analogy I have for this is life handed you a gift, a present, and we're judging the wrapping paper. Instead of opening the gift, we're blaming the wrapping paper. And if we just stop and we open this gift, exactly what Steve says happens. It's like that gold comes in, that wisdom, that new person, a new job. Just so we call it better than I can imagine in my community, better than I can imagine comes in and it's like, thank you. Life. That's the, that's the path.
Yeah. Can you please drop any and all links you got or anything? Yes, group sales, funnel books, whatever in the comments. I'm going to tag you in this afternoon. Entv, you've been listening to Jackie Senatori. Steve and I have been co interviewing her. Wow. The value in this has been phenomenal, Steve, thank you. You might need to interview her in your group, in the managers who lead because Jackie is definitely a manager and she's definitely a leader.
I, I was gonna, I was gonna make that, make that, that suggestion, but thanks for bringing it up because I would a 1000% have, have, have Jackie have Jackie's share because, because it brings a dimension to a space that can do with some of that blaming and shaming being removed so that genuine, you know, authenticity, transparency, trust can, can take its place. So I would love it.
Yes, Authenticity. Steve is loving both sides. It's exactly what it is to. Leaders have to love where they suck and where they're great. And people who do that as leaders, everyone loves them because it's real. You know, if I'm all great and I'm a leader, everyone's going to be like, there's something off with that person. If it's, you know, I can, I can teach this stuff. I got my own stuff too. And that's what people, people really gravitate towards.
All right, pntv, you have been fire hose with value today by John. Steve, right, Salsa Steve. Thank you. As I call him. Thanks for joining us because he's an awesome salsa dancer. Thanks for interviewing Jackie with me today. This was a lot of fun with you, Steve. Jackie, tremendous value. Closing comments before we go.
For me, just, just love who you are in this moment. Just love who you are. Love where you are at in life. And everything starts changing. Start asking questions from your heart, things that you want. How do I heal this? And then just listen, if you want to go next financial, if you want to do something on a relationship, what do I need to see? And then let the answer come to you. It'll come in really quick.
Okay. We'll end it here.
Yes.
