Before we get into the meat of the course, I think it's important that we talk about some table stakes. Every executive must know their unique value, and we'll provide some workbooks to help you find that. Every executive is gonna need to have a cleaned-up LinkedIn profile. Every executive's gonna need to have a resume. Now, whether or not you use it is not really that important. We know that when asked of us, we need to provide that information. So it's important that you consider those things. But if I'm honest with you, especially with the LinkedIn and resume, a lot of executives get hung up on the details, trying to optimize, trying to do the perfect ATS to break through the door. And look, when I think back to my most successful clients, and even those that are less successful, I can't remember the last time somebody got a job by applying for a job online. I can't remember when somebody was asked, line by line on their resume, tell me about this story, tell me about that. That's just not how it works anymore. I haven't seen somebody say, hey, I found you on LinkedIn and this is why I wanted to hire you. You don't close the deal with the bait that you put out there. You're simply setting the perception. One thing that a lot of executives do is that they overshare on LinkedIn, specifically in their experience and summary sections. I'm here to tell you, you don't need to do that. That stuff can and will be used against you later. I would prefer you have less information, less KPIs, less performance, less all of that. Just get it done and get it out of the way. If you continually spin your wheels trying to tweak your LinkedIn and use this platform that you haven't necessarily mastered yet, it's gonna slow your job search down. And for someone like you, that's tens and tens of thousands of dollars of money that's falling out of your pockets. So I'd rather you concentrate on how to activate your network, and that's where you're gonna get the most value out of the job search process. And then it's all about closing the deal with interview and negotiation mastery. Now I'm gonna share a lot of examples through the course, stories, and this idea isn't that you're gonna emulate these stories, you're not gonna become a negotiator exactly like me. I just want you to know what's possible. I just want to break the mindset so you're not living within a boundaries of what you think can happen. And instead you can say, I can't believe that happened. How can I do that for myself? If we achieve that outcome through this course, you're going to be significantly better off throughout the entirety of not just this job search, but all of your future ones. So in summary, don't mess around with your LinkedIn all day. Don't go spend thousands of dollars to go get it fixed. Don't try to master your LinkedIn. When you think about your career, think about where you have the strengths. Where are you strongest? Is it having a conversation or is it playing on LinkedIn? What we wanna do is we wanna bring people from channels you're unfamiliar with to channels where you can set the stage and you can control the conversation. So spend less time where you're not good, lean into your strengths, talk to more people one-on-one, showcase your value, and move into a negotiation process that's gonna accelerate a career beyond what you even thought was possible. Let's get started.
