Hey all. Jacob Warwick here. And I just wanted to take a few minutes between client calls. Looks like I have about 10 just to share why I'm starting the YouTube channel in the first place. You know, as most of my clients tend to be executive leaders and high profile, affluent software executives, the traditional career advice that we see out there doesn't really fit the mold for what they're experiencing. And I've always thought that I had a different take on that. And after speaking with thousands of executives over the last 10 years or so, my. I'd say my approach is pretty unique. And I approach things with no nonsense, no bullshit, try to be as personable as possible while still having a friendly demeanor. Because we're handling some pretty high profile situations that can be very stressful, very isolating. And it's really important for executives to feel like there's a voice that understands them, understands what they're going through, understands the sacrifices that they're making every day to put food on the table for their family or more often, take care of aging parents, while also navigating, becoming empty nesters and getting their kids into good schools. I've noticed that executives aren't necessarily greedy because they want more money. And they're not just trying to be these capitalist monsters. They're making sacrifices for their family just like everyone else. They're. They're the ones that fall on the blade so their family can have a better lifestyle. And I think executives are often misunderstood. And the content that is out there to serve them is, I'd say milk toast. It's pretty boring. It doesn't always work at the highest levels. And this isn't to throw shade at other career coaches. I understand that there's somebody out there for everyone and I've just sort of found this niche with the most high profile executives and helping them rebuild their confidence and understand the winning moments where they can negotiate more for their families and really being their confidant through that process. So my YouTube video is really designed to be very personable, Answer any questions that we get, the frequently asked questions, some of which I call the big four, like the interview questions that you absolutely have to hammer out. Tell me about yourself. What's next for you? Why did you leave your last position? And most importantly, how much money do you want to make? I want to share videos and tips on how to do that because this advice shouldn't be gatekept and held to just those that have a lot of money. I have client contracts that are in the hundreds of thousands of dollars sometimes and that's not very accessible to the everyday person. So this YouTube channel is designed to give some of my best tips away freely as as well as help promote my blog Execs in the City where Instead of short 600 word articles there are 30004000 word psychological deep dives and really master classes to help you and meet you where you're at in your career and support you when sometimes it feels like there isn't anyone that understands. So thank you for taking a few minutes and getting to know me a little bit better. I recommend you reach out follow me on LinkedIn at Jacob Warwick check out my website think warwick com and the blog Execs in the City.
