Luna came from. I had a nutrition, a holistic nutrition background. People basically started asking me to make stuff for them to complement my knowledge to help out with skin and hair and things like that. It took over more than my one on ones were. So I went into that and it came from like an unawareness of women not knowing and understanding what they put on their skin. I hustled for the first probably seven or eight years. Every single weekend I was in a new town doing a show or something like that to get us out there. I do a lot of workshops to educate people on how to use the skincare products and why they should maybe switch a few things up.
So what's your background? Why were people coming to you?
I have loved skincare since I was little. I have always loved skincare and I feel like people can see that. I really do love what I do and believe in what I sell through my social media and through my educational workshops. And that's why they kept coming to me. Like, put on your face. This is why you need to do it. These are the steps. This is how you do it. No matter what product you have, even if you don't use mine, this is how you have a great skincare routine. And a lot of moms are tired. So I'm finding like, that's kind of my niche now. One of our taglines is like, wash your face at 4:00', clock, don't wait until 10:00pm at night. And people are loving that. Like, don't make yourself the last priority. Like, wash your face early and you will love the rest of your night so much.
I love that. I'm trying to get to like the nitty gritty of the story because knowing the story will also help in terms of selling your products. So you have great skin and people ask you what you did. Like, how did they know to come to you to ask?
I think in London, where I am, I am one of the really? Well, like, really, there's maybe two of us. It's like Luna in London, everyone is like, oh, just go to Luna now. I think I do naturally just have good skin and I naturally have a lot of hair. So people. Yeah, I guess equate that to, okay, she knows what she's doing.
I don't know.
I'm trying to dig deeper than.
So your origin story. So you liked skincare and then you decided there was stuff missing on the market and you decided to create your own skin care.
I did. And it kind of came in before organic and natural really started trending. Like this was about a decade ago.
Okay. I mean, you have an amazing business. Like you're, you know, five figure plus months, like great business. And I understand that things have kind of felt a little tricky, so. Which they do. That's the, that's the life cycle of running a business. Like, things are like, oh, everything's working and you work so hard to get it there. And they're like, what has happened?
Exactly. Yeah. Like we killed it through Covid those last three years. It was just like, wow. And then we shut our brick and mortar down in January because my lease was up and it was not in a nice area I wanted to upgrade. And I was like, okay, let's see what the financials are like now that the front of our store is gone. We're still doing maybe 5 or 6,000 less a month than we were with the store, which I'm surprised. I thought we were going to be doing worse, but it still like makes me nervous. I know there's ebbs and flows, but I'm like, okay, now that we shut that down, I need to get the website or other things going.
I do want to just tell you real quick about that though, is that you don't have the expense of the store. So while you may be making less revenue, you're probably more profitable. Have you looked at your numbers in that way?
Yeah, I definitely am, for sure. Like, my. My account's like, yeah, but you're not spending as much on that side, so, like, you're good.
Yeah. So sometimes when we chase the numbers, like, we, you know, we chase the revenue, which I. I used to do as well, and then. But it's the profitability that counts. So sometimes it's like making less money, but being more profitable literally means there's more money in your pocket. So I know a lot of people that, you know, they actually made it through Covid with a retail space. And I know you're in London, but I think that hiring and maintaining and like, the workforce these days seems like it's harder to run physical locations. So I've seen more people. They're not going out of business. They're just transitioning to online and not wanting to manage a store. So you're not alone in that move. But it sounds like, I think $5,000 down in. In revenue, yet way more profitable because you don't have the rent, you don't have the team you need to hire. All the things, like, sounds like you're doing a great job.
Yeah, thank you.
Sure. I'd like to make more money, but let's do it.
You know what? If it was just me, I'd be like, whatever. Like, I'm good. But, you know, once you have children, I'm just like, okay, all the things that you need to think about in the future.
And little do they know how much they keep us. No. Yeah. A hundred percent.
I mean, little do they know.
Little do they know. Little did I know how little my parents do. Right?
Yeah, I know. I said that. I'm like, you really don't get it until you're a parent. Wow.
Yeah. So you're a single mama. You're operating this business, which is doing really well. Where are you selling? So if you're selling, you sell online. Are you selling wholesale or what's your revenue streams?
Yeah, we sell wholesale. Our wholesale is probably 40% of our business. It's just been organic so far. I haven't had to go out there and chase anything. Although I'm not against it. I'm excited to do something at that. We are on fair. It's okay. It's not. I don't depend on that. Although, that being said, we have gotten more into the states through fair that we really wouldn't have without it. And then I also teach the facials that I. So I kind of had two full time businesses and then I. I closed down my facials because I just couldn't be the mom I wanted to be. So I'm like, okay, that's. But a lot of people loved it so that I started training people in that and through that, that's another source of income. And they have been buying wholesale as well after they graduate.
Okay, so you're actually like certifying people in the way that you like how.
You do in like a Luna facial. It's called.
Are you certifying them? Do they get a certification from you?
They get a certification, yeah. I'm not an esthetician, but it's certification and how I do it.
Okay, so training people plus wholesale of the products. Okay, great. And then are the other 60%. Is that coming direct to consumer online through your website?
It is, yeah. I do shows a couple times a year, so it would probably be the Christmas shows are a big bulk of that.
Okay, so what does the average customer buy from you? So if I'm a new customer and I come shop from you, do you know what my average order value is versus people who come back and buy again?
Yeah, generally the average order value is around 150 to 200.
So the easiest thing is to get people to come. People have already bought for me to buy again because it's a consumable product. Once they're hooked, they're hooked. Second thing would be raising the average order value, which actually raising the average order value is probably the easier one than getting people to come back and buy. And then new customer acquisition. Those are the three steps. And then do you want to add to your wholesale, like do you have the capacity to add more wholesale vendors or orders on or do you want to just focus on direct to consumer?
We definitely have the capacity to add more wholesale on for sure.
Okay, you said 40% of your business is wholesale and then capacity for production. Are you making it? Do you have them made by other people?
So it's all of our recipes. I do have two employees. I have one that does production and the other one that deals with like shipping and wholesale and labeling and things like that. I do all of the admin stuff and the socials and things.
So it's all created in house. You're not working like a co packer or.
Yes. All right, good to know.
Then the other thing that you're currently struggling with is burnout. Seems like too many little things and big goals on your plate.
Yes. I don't even know where to start anymore.
Okay, so first up, in helping you with your overwhelm. And this is something that like my masterminders deal with a lot because at your level and growth of business, like you've gotten it to this point and it's been growing and growing and it feels like, you know, you're building the plane while you're flying it to outer space. Right. And you're like. And there's like so many things to hold on to. So I think for your part, it's like you want to start to set up processes in which if we launch a new product, these are the steps that you have to take. If we put something up on social, these are the steps you have to take. There needs to be an operation put into place here, like a standard operating procedure put into place. What are all the steps? It needs photos, it needs pricing, it needs to be put up on the website. How does that look if we post about it on social? What needs to happen with that? It needs to get tagged, needs to get put into, you know, inventory, whatever it is, start to just document as you do it. So then it's just a repeatable process. You're involved in the beginning, but then as the processes happen, your team members will update it.
Yep, that makes sense.
Everything starts with setting goals. And I think that's why it's really important to one, set goals and you can even dream bigger, right? Don't think small, don't dream small. Shoot for a wildest dreams. Now Nicole's a single mom dreaming of a million dollar business and looking at her numbers and her tenacity and just the belief that she can, I know that she'll make it there. So now that we know the goal, we know what we're aiming for, we're gonna look at the numbers and we're gonna see how we can get there. Because see, sometimes it could be a new sales channel, but often it might be finding ways to make more with what you're already doing. And that would be, you know, there's a few levers to pull. One would be getting new customers. There's always this idea of getting new customers and customer acquisition. But another thing that people overlook is really leaning into their returning customers, right? Getting them to come back and buy again and buy more. And the goal here is to work on both and to get them to come shop with you. So it's that idea of new customers and returning customers. So the other side of your business is what is really not selling that's not necessary for you to do. So if like you only Sell a very little amount of hair. Then it could be like, you just stop doing hair for a while. Or makeup's complicated, like don't do makeup, you know. So I would decide what you want to be known for. What would you say? You don't sell very many of, but you still make our joint butter. What is that?
Our joint butter goes along with our magnesium spray. It just helps to ease like arthritis and inflammation and stuff in the bones and in the body. But it's a very long process to make and we don't sell enough of it. It's kind of been on my mind for a long time to get rid of it. But it's so hard because then you have that one 80 year old that's like, do you still make this? And then you're like, ah, now you're.
Like, I have one jar left. You just, you can't sell to everyone, you know, and you can't be something for everyone. And right now, the second feedback I would give you is that I am somewhat confused because you say you start with why cleansing your skin matters. So you told me in the very, very, very beginning is that it was like skincare that you're known for, but you have bath, beauty food, mama and baby, natural makeup scents, skin body tools. There's a lot of products and I'm not sure your profitability, but the more products you have, the more overwhelming it is too because you've got different formulations, so many different things being made. You're not at a million dollars yet. And you could easily get to a million dollars by niching down and being way more focused than trying to make everything for everybody, even though you can. It's also confusing to the general consumer, like, what am I coming to you for? You know? And when we look at bigger brands, it's the evolution of them. By the time we see them in big stores on the shelves of Sephora, let's say they've been in business for a really long time before that ever happened. And then when they start to expand into other product categories, it's because they've got this backing of knowing, oh, I can sell it because I'm on the shelves of Sephora, for example. So for you, I think it would be interesting for you to play with, you know, is baby necessary? Makeup is a totally other product category. So do you do well with like your skincare, your makeup? Like, what is the category you do really well at?
I mean, absolutely. The best thing that we do is our skincare for sure.
So looking at your Numbers I would look to see because I want you to be profitable versus making all the products. You may love it, but it's a lot. It's more things to photograph. Right. It's more things to market, it's more things to make and to sell. So if you're like, absolutely, hands down, we're really good at skincare, I want you to just play with the idea of what if we went all in on skincare?
Okay.
Okay.
I'm definitely not against that at all. There's a lot of products in my head where I'm like, the Virgo is very just like cut, cut, I cut by. Yep.
So it's easy.
And I know exactly what things that I would drop for sure. And it's a lot of them.
So when you're thinking about rebuilding your website is if you're like, my customer lands on this page, what is the journey I want them to take? It's so much easier to talk about skin concerns and skin types and drive them to something versus, like skin concerns and skin types. Plus what scents do you like to smell? And then if you're a mom and you got babies and then makeup, which like, I know makeup might be a later down the road, but it's different formulation, different colors, people want to try it on. You know, it's like, is it necessary? Do you know the brand Merit?
I don't.
So Merit is a minimalist beauty. It's cream based beauty. It's clean. I bought a lot of it. I'm currently wearing it. And they have very few products. They started the skin glows are based. It's like why my skin looks like this. You put it on and then you put the cream on top. So like my concealer and things like that and then the bronzer like my everyday go to and everyone's always telling me like, you've got great skin now. Would I shop skincare from them? Not necessarily. Because I'm not actually going to them for my needs of skin care. I'm going for them for like clean makeup that looks good on aging skin. So you can see like it's a very simple line that in fact when you go to Sephora, it's just an end cap and it's got the products and it's just got very simple products. This is a company that's kind of in the beginning stages of becoming like bigger and bigger and bigger. And I've been watching their evolution and I know you've been in business for a long time versus like how they started in this company. We're still kind of in a how they started mode.
Okay.
I know it's tempting to want to be all the things for all the people, but you know what it also is, it's complicated. Right? And you can make it to a million dollar company without overwhelming yourself in a sea of skus and all the things. In fact, it's even easier and actually might be your road map there when customers know what to expect from you and they know where they stand. And it removes decision points that stand in the way of making a purchase. So I want you to remember, don't be afraid to simplify, don't be afraid to niche down, and don't be afraid to be known for something. All right, product boss, I have a serious question. Does it ever feel like you've tried everything and you still aren't making the sales you want to be? Or maybe you've poured countless hours, days and nights, there's been tears into your product biz and you're starting to think that maybe you're just bad at business. I mean, trust me, I have literally been there. So I'm here to tell you that you aren't bad at business and that selling your products doesn't have to feel this hard. So what I've seen from coaching thousands and thousands of product based business owners like you is that they just don't know how to get their products in front of more customers to make more sales. And listen, I get it because I used to have that exact same issue with my product biz until I figured out the one thing that took my business from like one or two sales every two weeks to people I knew to making six figures in my first year of business. That's right, I was able to take a piece of fabric that I folded over three times and turn it into a six figure international success which was worn by countless celebrities all in just one year. And the best part is that I did it without spending a single cent on ads or having an audience or a following or an email list to sell to. Now listen, I want this for you too. Which is why I'm sharing my secrets so you can learn how to turn your product based business into a money making machine that provides the stability and financial security that you're looking for. And it's all happening inside of my free masterclass, the three part framework to building a consistent, profitable, revenue generating product based business in 2024. So if you're ready to get clarity, get profitable and take that next step, all you need to do is head over to the productboss.com/framework to save your spot. Again, that's the productboss.com framework. Or you can just click the link in the show notes and I'll see you inside. All right, now back to the show. Okay, so raising your average order value, getting your customers to come back and buy and then customer acquisition, which is just all the normal stuff you're already doing. Content marketing, social media growth, it, if you run ads, all of those, that will be the way that you acquire new customers. But you said to me that people are constantly sharing and talking about it, so they're doing the work for you of that like organic growth. Right now the other two of those other two levers to me are easier for you to move and those will automatically increase your revenue.
Okay.
As many times as you can, make it a no brainer for your customers, direct to consumer or wholesale is the best option, the no brainer. And I think that's like a consistent theme here on your website on direct to consumer. Like whether we sell them a kit or a regimen and whether we sell wholesale it like the simplest way for you to make it a no brainer. They're going to ask you anyways, well, what should I buy? And so because you are our expert and you're positioning yourself as the skincare expert, then just tell me what to buy and I'll just say yes. And so we want to just make it easy for them to say yes.
Yeah. Okay. Do you think there's value in adding like an education component after people buy stuff for the staff selling it?
Yeah. So do you have Sephora where you are or is that like your big one for you too?
Probably, yeah.
Okay, so if you think about that and you think about when you go in and you talk to somebody who works the store, they come to you like, how can I help you? What are you looking for? So as much as you can educate people who work in retail shops to sell your product, the better. So if you give them kits, if you gift them education, if you tell them how to use it and then they're using it, they're going to be like, oh my God, I absolutely love it. And they're going to constantly recommend your stuff over the others on the shelves because you do have this educational component and you're so good at it. The more you can realize that that is a superpower that you have that not everybody has, then just think, how can I continue to educate people when I sell to these stores? You might be like, I'd love to gift. How many people do you have working on the floor? I'd love to gift them all. Like, you know, maybe it's your basic 5 bundle or something. Right. You might create the video. You might say, like, here's my onboarding on how to do it. Anytime you can educate the people who are selling your products, it's better. And it sounds like you've mastered that because you also have the certification type program that you're teaching people how to use your product.
Yeah, I mean, I definitely, I asked that because I've just always been wanting to make an onboarding video. I don't know why. I mean, obviously I should. Our biggest retailer of our products is because they're in London and all the girls in there use our stuff and they sell a lot of other skincare brands, but they know so much about our stuff.
Yep. Well, you have a course.
Yeah.
You have a Luna facial course. Is that just something that you can just gift them for free to know how to use the products?
Yeah, I totally could. That was my other question because I do an education night at this one location. They all get a Luna sample kit and we go through with the spa night from beginning to end how to use the products. It's super fun. When that's finished, they end up buying almost all the products full size because they understand how to use stuff. But I was like, okay, should I do this video? Take it online? Should it be free free or should it be like an extra paid thing?
Okay, so people aren't going to pay for it. They don't want to pay. You will sell more product giving more away for free than you will selling it. So same thing. Like the Product Boss podcast, for example, we used to lock our information up because we're like, we sell a course so they can buy the course. And then I realized that in fact, the more I give away for free, the more information I give away, the more they will know, like, and trust. And I say this in a way that, like, it's just proven, like, people know, like, and trust you when they can hear you coaching or helping. So I think that the more you can ed, you're going to educate people on how to do skincare and skincare care routines. So I think the content you already have, that's just kind of like next level content. Or if you want to create, it could be support content that you give to salespeople to sell your product. Right. So you have a retailer, they come buy from you. Maybe there's all the three kits to Buy wholesale. And then you could be like, I have a training that I will give you and your team, send all your team, you know, sample packs to try out the product and then they'll know exactly how to use it. So it'll help them be able to sell more. The store owner is going to be like, this is awesome, because all I want my people to do is sell more. That would be its own version. You might already have that content. You might just want to cut it up in a way or just give it to them. Okay. So that's a way to sell more product through your retailers. The more they sell, the more they will reorder from you and the more people will discover you on their shelves. So that is already like this machine you're going to kick up. The other side to this is you constantly teaching people how to take care of their skin for free with all your skin routines and all the ways you do it. And also getting influencers or other people that work with you too. Like it's already happening. People are going to do their skin routines, are going to be like, oh my God, I love using Luna. They put it on their face. This is how I do my routine. They're the messenger. And then people are going to discover your brand and then want the same results. So they're going to come by your product. Okay, then I've got another version of this for you which is your other side of your business. So then you were telling me that you're educating people. So a separate side of your business is almost like a certification and coaching business for using your product, but them becoming experts to use your product. And that's when I would like go look to other brands that might be certifying people to. And it's, it's not an mlm, but kind of, it's, it's not a Mary Kay, but it's a little bit of that version. So for a single mama who's overwhelmed and stressed, this is not necessarily all, but you did invest in yourself to do a, a two hour virtual intensive with me. So I will blast you with all the information and then you will figure out when you're going to do it because you can't do it all at once. Okay.
Yeah. I mean, I love working. That's the problem.
Same. I'm right there with you. Nothing but ideas. So either you need people to help you, so you're going to either need to hire people that are going to help you in business or hire people at home. Right. Or both so that you can stay in visionary mode. You can stay in like forward big picture mode for your business. And then other people are doing the things that you don't need to be doing.
Okay.
Including shopping for your groceries or doing the laundry. Like it's as simple as like small things like that. Okay. So the other side to this is, is educating, like finding who your ideal customer is when it comes to a skincare provider, an esthetician or a provider of, of a service, figuring out who they are and why they would want to buy from you. And then I love the idea of either. That could go twofold. You either certify them that they pay thousand dollars, I think is that like of course costs a thousand bucks to learn the education. Maybe with that thousand dollars they get, you know, a starter kit for themselves, it's included. And then they get 20% off or 30% off or whatever. Right. Like maybe it's not a full wholesale. They'd have to become wholesalers of you. Like they'd have to start buying minimums. But it could be like a discounted amount or an influencer thing where they use their own code. If they're an esthetician and they have their own studio or like place that they are, then sure they can buy wholesale. They're just going to have to buy a certain amount from you. So then to be certified in, in it, they just have to keep paying for the certification every year. So let's say it's $1,000 to start and then every year to say certified as a Luna skincare expert. Maybe it's $500. I'm giving you really low numbers because bigger companies like coaches might charge 5 or $10,000 to get certified in something and then yearly they might pay $5,000 a year to stay as a certified expert. So you can kind of pick where you want to go, but it's a reoccurring amount that they don't just do one time, but to stay certified. Because maybe you're updating their education, you're dropping new products. Like they need to stay on top of their education to be a dealer of your product.
I never thought about that.
So part of the reason you would pay for certification is now it's actually helping you find more customers. So I think that's kind of a next level situation for you. I don't think it's a. Oh, actually I'm not showing it to you. Sorry. This page. So this is where I went to. So hire an expert to create. They get to choose the experts and it's you pick what you want, the location. So it's a directory. And that's why I would pay to be certified and like, stay within his certification. Does that make sense?
Yep, that makes total sense. Right now, the women that we've certified are on our website, on the stockist page, like, at the very bottom. But I can see from this all of the things I could add on to support them that they would pay for.
How is it at home in terms of, like, support that you need? Do you feel supported at home?
I mean, it's tough. I have my son about 90, 85% of the time, so.
So do you have him in daycare, preschool? Like, what is your help with him?
So I have from like 9 to 2, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to work and Friday afternoons, Friday evenings and every other weekend.
Okay, and does that feel like enough time?
No.
Can he do Anything extended past 2 o' clock on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday?
Not right now, where he's at.
Okay. Do you have the ability to. What would it look like if you had someone come help you at home? That is somebody who could like, like, play with him? Because does he do nap time when he comes home to you? Does he nap at school? Is he awake?
He naps at school. He is still a napper though. So if he was here, he would nap for a couple hours in the afternoon.
So I'd love for you to think through creative ways. And this is really hard for me too. Like, when my kids were young and I was living on the east coast with my husband and he was working, and so I did a lot of the parenting solo, I did every night by myself. I did like, so all the bath times by myself, dinner time, bedtime, all the things. Cause my husband was working at night and that's, you know, a harder time. But it would also be like picking them up from school. But for me, like, once I got going in the day, I kind of like, if I could get done around 4 o' clock or 5 o', clock, then I felt like I could really settle into, all right, put in my day. I knew I had these hours to get in. I didn't have to stop and start. And then I could be there for dinner time, you know, bath time, reading a book and really being fully, like, in it with them versus feeling so pulled. And I cried when I sent my daughter to daycare earlier than I had sent my son because I felt like I felt guilty. I felt like he stayed home longer with me. Like, what kind of, you know. But I also was growing a Business. And I wanted to grow my business and I liked growing my business and I needed that time for myself too. So that's when I figured out a school that I could keep them till 5. Still the mom rushing over there, by the way. Like, there's never enough time. Most product bosses start out doing everything themselves, either because they have to or they just like to. But you're probably not going to reach a million dollars without getting a little help help along the way. This can be hiring, but it can also mean help around the house or outsourcing some of those tasks that pull you out of your business. I know that this can be a difficult decision when it comes to kids, but trust me, you can be a product boss and the type of parent that you want to be to your kids all at the same time. Now let's dive back into the other tasks you can outsource. So I just want you to play with and explore because you do feel you either need to hire out people to do the things for you, but you're still going to feel like you need things to do or you still have things to do even if you hire people because they're going to be asking you questions. So I do think thinking through other ways that you can get help, whether it's at 2 to 4, 2 to 5, like that segment of time. And if you want Fridays off with him, great, take Fridays off with him. If Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday were just like your full workday, then think through how could you accomplish a full workday on those days. And then other things you can outsource. Grocery shopping through apps, you can outsource laundry. There's so many places you can just like do an app. Just thinking about the things that take time from you that you're like, oh, but I gotta go do that. I love to outsource. So I'd rather pay for the help than so that I can stay focused and do the high like $4 tasks and let someone else do the dollar, the dollar level tasks. If that makes sense.
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. So I honestly, I never thought about outsourcing because I guess in my head I'm like, well, I'm not there yet. It seems so much bougier than like what I am. You know what I mean?
Yeah.
But if you think about it, then, yeah, I've just never even looked into it.
Yeah, I mean, I use Instacart and then I still joke. I'm like, I don't go to the grocery store anymore. Like, who wants to walk around the grocery store with their kids. All they do is complain. So, yeah, I want you to think through ways that you can outsource and get help at home, and then same thing with your business. So the people currently working for you, are there other tasks that they can take on and then. And. Or maybe you need an assistant at work. Did you ever watch Mad Men?
No, I have not.
Okay, so Don Draper was, like, the 1950s man in Mad Men. Okay? He was, like, the executive and the ad thing, and he was, like, so sharp, and everybody loved him, and he was like, climb the corporate ladder. And Don Draper had a secretary who would make sure he ate, who would buy presents for his wife and his mistress, right? Like, he. Like, she would bring him his scotch, then he'd go home, and then his wife would have a scotch waiting, and the kids would be in bed, and the food would be ready. Like, he had to do nothing for himself, and he got to just be who he needed to be working and, you know, climbing his ladder. And, you know, he was able to compartmentalize because people were doing stuff for him. Unfortunately, as women, we were not raised that way. If you grew up in the 80s and 90s, we were told we can be anything, which is awesome. But then nobody taught us, like, how can you be everything and still hold the role of mom, spouse, girlfriend, child, daughter, sister, whatever? And so now we're being asked. We're like, you're running a huge company, so congratulations, right? You're doing these amazing things that, like, our grandparents would. Our grandmothers would have never believed were possible. Even our mothers would have never believed were possible. But it feels like we're coming apart at the seams because there's no model of how to do it all. And then when you think bougie, you're like, well, you know, the Kardashians have seven nannies for each child. Okay, fine. But, like, we need to learn to outsource and resource the same way that, like, the 1950s male did, because there's no proof of people being able to hold at all without getting help. So I want you to start to think through ways that you can outsource, hire, take the word bougie out and just think, I'm a boss. And I'm just like, this is what bosses do. Like, they learn how to manage things so that you can do the things that you truly want to be doing. Visionary. Being a mom, sleeping. Right? Like, do those things and let other people do the other stuff.
Yeah, Okay, I need to hear that.
So I said, in the beginning. But Nicole is amazing, right? I mean, the things that she is doing are incredible and honorable and courageous because we all know that being a single parent is hard. And she's doing an amazing job at this. But she's also the boss of a business that's on its way to a million dollars at the same time, right? She can hold both. And as you heard me say, I think she can actually get there in a year. So the big theme here was how do I make this easy? And while I don't think that there's ever an easy button, I do think there are easier ways. We overcomplicate. We put a bunch of roadblocks in our way. And a big part for Nicole is outsourcing. It's asking for help. And the other side of this, right, the other helpful part of this would be simplifying her product lineup to focus on what sells best. A million dollar business doesn't have to be out of reach for you. If Nicole can do it with all the things she's blending into her life, you can. Can too. So, my friend, remember to think bigger now.
