Living in Dubai - My Dream Beachfront Apartment

First-person YouTube vlog by James Blackwell describing his life after moving to Dubai (over one year). He shows a beachfront-style apartment, links the move to lifestyle goals from vision boards, credits mentors and sustained personal-development habits (daily rituals, reading, masterminds) for recent wealth and business improvements, and encourages viewers to be consistent, systemise their businesses, and seek mentorship.
Hello, ladies and gentlemen. And in today's video, I thought I'd do something different. So I've just, just been for my morning coffee after the gym. You can see I'm in sunny Dubai where I live now. And yeah, just really wanted to give you all an update on where things are right now. So, currently I moved to Dubai over one year ago now and for a range of factors and I think number one thing was lifestyle and being able to. Because I've worked so hard in the business over the last six, seven years, I thought now's the time to really grow and enjoy the fruits of your labor. And also it's inspired me to keep on growing and keep on evolving. So, yeah, so I've been in Dubai over a year now. I really enjoy it. It's a great way of life. Slightly different to the uk. Obviously, there's pros and cons for both. And yeah, I'm just walking back to my new apartment now, which is that building right up there. So. One of my first visions when I used to do my vision boards was to live on the beach. And I always wanted an apartment, beachfront type of apartment. When I used to follow one of my old mentors, Gran Codone, he lived like in Miami and he used to always record his videos off his big balcony. And I was like, wow, I'd love to have that life one day. And it's pretty much come true. I mean, this is called Miami style Beach one. And it's, it's hopefully an inspiration for some of you that are just either starting out in your business journey or maybe you're halfway through it to say, just keep sticking in and rewards will always follow. It compounds. And I think the only way how I've got to where I have today has been by consistent personal development, putting in the work and grinding, but also always making sure I was working smarter, never harder. I didn't want to just run myself into the ground. I was always looking for ways of how we can do things, more efficient and more better systems, etcetera, in my business. And yeah, I think this is just. I was just walking down here and reflecting really over the last six, seven years of my entrepreneurial journey and all of the different mentors I've had, and I thank them all very much for always given me the wisdom. And I was just thinking, I wish I knew what I knew now back then to say to my younger self, James, to say, look, it's okay. Keep putting in that work and it will come. And it comes when it's least expected. So over the last, probably year and a half, two years has been when I've created a lot more wealth for myself and prosperity. But it was all of the inputs that I did consistently daily, daily habits, daily rituals, whether it was affirmations, mental meditation, writing down my goals every day, planning tomorrow, today, listening to podcasts, reading every single day, reading a book a week, going to different masterminds, events and having mentors, but also showing up and doing the work. So it's one thing having all of that, but you've got to do the work as well. And I think that's the gap. Where people miss out on is either do all of the work, but they don't keep on self improving, they don't keep evolving and keep growing, they just keep doing it, doing it, doing it. And that's a problem for some business owners. If you are listening to this and you've been in the recruitment game maybe even longer than me, but you're not where you want to be, it's maybe because you just, you need to understand there's a better way, there's a better way to run your agency, there's a better way to systemise and automate certain things in order to give you a different lifestyle. But yeah, so I just thought I would record this video to show you where I'm at at the moment and I hope you all have a good and vibrant day, whatever you're doing, and just keep, keep, keep sticking in, keep keep going, keep evolving, whether it's learning from me, someone else. I think it's really important to have mentors. It's really important to keep consistent with your, your goals and if you're having a tough day, just keep, keep on doing it because it always rises to the top. Like when you've done the work, the universe, it'll come back to you. And the Gary place is the best famous golfer was the harder I work, the luckier I get. And yeah, I get that, but it doesn't necessarily mean hard work and grind. It's like just consistently working on yourself, not just in your business, I think is the biggest takeaway. So, yeah, if you like this video and you want to see more like this style, let me know in the comments below. And yeah, I appreciate the like, if you wouldn't mind and I'll catch you on the next video.
