James Blackwell tricks his dad into a train ride by claiming it's a business meeting, then surprises him with a BMW 7 Series. His father's reaction captures the moment he realizes the car is his to keep.
This morning I'm supposed to be meeting a client and I'm actually taking my dad along. So we're actually getting the train down to Leicester and he thinks we're going to meet a client to do a recruitment pitch, but really I have actually secretly bought him a BMW 7 Series. So dad's always obviously helped me when I was younger and obviously he's getting on a bit now, so I feel like it's my turn now. I'm going to financial position to pay him back. So we're going down on a train and I'm gonna document, obviously this on the video. So I'll catch you shortly and I'll give you an update. So this morning we're just at the train station waiting to board the train over to Darby, Leicester, so I've got about 10 minutes to wait, taking along my dad with us. Today he's going to be meeting a client on your dad. I am. So it's going to be fun. So, looking forward to the journey and like I said, I'm going to keep you posted throughout the day, so stay tuned for the next part. So we just changed trains from Derby on to Leicester now. So the final stint of the journey. We've got about 30 minutes to go. How's the journey been, dad? Awesome.

So I was saying, I wish we could be driving back from here instead of getting the train. Just think we've got to do this train journey all the way back.
I think I'll get a taxi.
Ideally we could just. If I had call, yeah, we could hire a car and take it back. Would we?

No. I wanted to repair over here everything that you've done for me as a father. So it's all yours, bought and paid for and we're gonna drive it back today. It's all insured and all insured and ready to go. There's the keys. So what's happened to my dad's? Guy had it out of your head. All right. And someone brought it up. Oh, so he hasn't had a car for the last six months? I sold it out of the A800 a few weeks ago. Were you expecting this? I know. Did you have any idea? No. You actually thought we were going to see a double glazing climb, didn't you? Now you're picking up your seven Series, so the surprises aren't. We got him. There's this new car. No, thank you. Thanks, sir.

I genuinely thought. It's an honestly episode.

I just genuinely thought that this was a guy. I thought they must have a copy outside somewhere. Yeah, that's what I said to him.
Well, when they've seen the seven Series.
I thought, well, I couldn't. I thought they belonged to. Thought it belonged to them. You know what I'm saying? The people that were waiting to see.
Hilarious. Would you pick this type of car yourself? Oh, definitely.

It's a light to drive. Smooth. We don't even have to get the train back. I just couldn't.
I couldn't believe that what was happening because I genuinely thought that we was gonna see this. Who you. Who had this double glazing company in there, all this sort of stuff. I just. And I couldn't because I thought, well, James would have asked me to come down had it not been that he wanted to help him along with double glazing. Unbelievable. Honestly, it really is. It's just.
Oh, dear. He did it so well.
