3: Format Of This Class

J. Anthony Allen breaks the course into six modular sections of 40-50 videos each, priced at about $20 per part. You buy only what you need, whether you're starting out or running a company, and he can release and improve content based on what students actually want.

So for this class, here's what we're going to do. I'm going to format this class the same way I formatted some of my other classes that has worked particularly well. And that is to not make one class that is 300 hours long and covers everything you need to know. Because not everyone wants to know all of that stuff. Everyone starts at a different place with this kind of stuff. Maybe you've already started a company and you want help with the financial stuff. Maybe you've just got an idea and you don't know where to start. Or maybe you're all up and running, but you just kind of want to get a sense of how I like to do things. Everyone starts at a different spot. So instead of making this huge, huge class that would have to be very expensive, what I like to do is cut this up into many different classes, like a series. Think of it like a miniseries on tv, if you will. So what we'll do is we're going to have about. I like to have about 40 to 50 videos per section. So you're looking now at section one. This is the first part of the sequence. I like to call these sequences of classes. And there will be many. And in fact, I could talk about this for years. So I will keep making these classes as long as I have. As long as people are taking them and I have good content to talk about. I'm not going to just make some that are nonsense. So the way I have it planned out, there will be six classes. So there will be a part one, part two, part three, part four, part five, and part six. But that's my plan. For all the content that I want to get through, it might change. So there might be seven, eight, nine, or there might be three, who knows? But that's my plan. So I like to make these into smaller chunks. What that means for you is that you can. Instead of buying one class that costs $500, you can buy one class that costs $20. And then if you like it and if you want to take the next one, you're gonna. You pay another $20. And everything is a lot cheaper that way. I found, just through doing that with my other classes that I've made, that it seems to be the best for the student and frankly, the best for me. It works out well that way because I can release them as I go. I don't have to wait till I finish this one huge class. I can make small sections and then release them as we go. So that's what we're going to do for this class. So this is part one, and I guess that's all I have to say about that. So let's dive in. Next to kind of one thing that I wanted to put right at the front of this class. An important concept that I hope you I can instill in you quickly.
