In this opening segment of the YouTube video, J. Anthony Allen delivers a content warning for the upcoming class titled “6 Scary Stories About Music.” He alerts viewers that the material will reference suicide and other forms of death, though he avoids graphic details. Allen advises anyone who might be triggered to skip the story segment and watch only the wrap‑up. He notes that one story necessarily involves a suicide case, which he deems fascinating and therefore includes despite the sensitivity. The tone is conversational and protective, aiming to prepare the audience while keeping the overall presentation family‑friendly.

Okay, little content warning. Well, potentially a big content warning. This class is gonna mention the existence of suicide and other forms of death. Not gruesome murder, but we will talk about people dying. And in one case, we will talk about a case of suicide. So if that is a trigger for you, I encourage you to jump to the end, skip the actual stories, and maybe watch some of the wrap up stuff. But I have, you know, kept any gory bits out of this. I have tried to keep it family friendly, but in one case, there was just no way to avoid talking about suicide. And it's a really fascinating story, so. So I just wanted to include it. Okay, off we go.
