A speaker tells Erika why companies should celebrate wins publicly. They describe a complex deal that needed coordination across ten functional areas, and show how to recognize it: post in Slack, call out contributors by name, host a Zoom gathering. Success is collective, not individual.

Erika. Oh, okay. But back to the people. I mean, there's a lot of like good celebrating you get to do. We were talking earlier, like if your company has a president's club, like recognizing high performance is like, that's amazing, right? To celebrate other people. You know, I like even I'll have an awesome day when it's like a rep is closed, like a really complex hard deal and there were 40 people at the company that actually got it over the line and you get to go like talk about that or you put it in Slack and you call people and you get on Zoom and I don't know, that just feels, that feels great. Like you did something really complex across many, many functions. Like it's never just one person that's getting things done for customers. And I don't know, I really like that when you see, you know, 40 people that literally make it happen across 10 functions and you get to like go celebrate that.
